I have never seen a single unsmiling face from staff, which really makes me believe that they are happy and enjoying their jobs, which means a lot to me. I heard all of this from different staff just on my last visit alone. So welcoming! The store is well stocked with all their newest scents but also has plenty of the good ol' smells on hand, as well. I love that (secret hint) this location usually seems to get extra of limited edition goods. (I'm looking at YOU Halloween & Christmas) But sshhhh!!!! Don't tell. The ambiance of this location is very chill, with the noise level being low. It's plenty comfortable with sound that you do not need to raise your voice to have a conversation with your shopping partner or to ask questions of staff. There are no stairs or elevators needed to enter this store, making it very handicap friendly. There are also handicap assistive doors on the entrances to the mall, adding extra assistance. There are no televisions located in the store, therefore no needed subtitles. Handicap parking is located near several entrances to the mall. read more

The interaction felt dismissive. When I apologized, she made me feel uncomfortable with her glaring look. I do understand there are store policies but I feel there is also a more polite and proper way to handle situations if a customer makes a mistake. read more

I didn't care for the dude that works here, nor do I care to deal with people that have zero logic or common sense. I recently bought quite a few candles, some online and some in the store. I came to return one and grabbed one that I purchased online because it came in a little protective box and I didn't want it to break as I would have to return it after work. Well the guy that worked there took one look at it and rudely stated this is an online order I can't take the return. When I questioned why he can't take online returns in the store he got loud and obnoxious for no reason. He gave no clear reason other than you got it online that's why. Absolutely ridiculous because he could just take it out of the little box and it's the exact same candle as all the other ones. I tried to explain that to him, but instead of understanding in simple terms, what I was saying, he chose to argue. I don't understand what the difference is. If I purchase a candle online and needed to return it, I would have to ship it back when it's literally the same candle and I should be able to return it in the store.. in any case his attitude set me off. It was another great experience with Maribel & the staff!! I'm a fairly regular customer of this store. I had several coupons that they happily accepted. The staff is super helpful in getting the best value of products when using the coupons. Eucalyptus Spearmint is my favorite plug in refill scent, as it smells fresh & clean!! Came in here looking for a ton of good Halloween themed soap, preferably of the foam variety. This location didn't disappoint at all. The crew was very nice and collectively showed me all types of options as far as phone and a Halloween theme goes. I bought $62 worth of hand soaps, 8 in total and 2 other items and politely asked the cashier if they have cellophanes and ribbons. She said "no we don't have any."And then i hear the other cashier next to her ask another customer "did you want some ribbons?". And i saw bunch of ribbons in their drawer! I was like, this girl can't be lying in my face! And on top of that, she didn't even double bag my stuff knowing the products are heavy, i had to ask another employee from the store if i can get another bag. Everytime I come here, the staff always welcome me and ask if I need help. They are so nice and informative. They don't stand around either. They are always cleaning the shelves and the tables. There are about 4 registers so when there is a line to check out, it goes pretty fast. They also have a reward program which givea you free items. This company has the beat scents. I always get compliments on my soaps from here. The candles are also my favorite because they actually smell up the room/house. Parking isn't fun at this location as the store is inside a mall. read more

An aggressive sales woman came stomping at me 'we are closed you need to leave'. I just left this store and this the 3rd time in a row I've had the most negative experience with a sales associate named Emily. She is extremely aggressive and unhelpful. I asked her about the new popular fragrances that I saw on tiktok as I was extremely excited to purchase some. When I asked her about them she had the WORST attitude and told me that they do not sell them in store and it was only online and that I was lucky if I could even find them there. I told her that I saw someone purchasing some in a store. She told me that was only in some stores but that they didn't have them there. I understand if you didn't have them there but please don't misinform people and tell them they are ONLY online. Also - this is not the first experience I've had with Emily making me uncomfortable and wanting to leave. Even my boyfriend was excited to purchase something with me but after the rude encounter I had he told me he didn't have any interest in purchasing from that store if they were going to treat me like that. The store is great but I love to shop B&BW online. Same sales, maybe an additional sale or 3 and I think the selection is much better and often ships free or some other special discount like 20-30% off for spending $25. The flashback fragrance sale is one of my faves, $3-4 for a bottle...that's sometimes half the regular cost. Since I'm not a shopper, I stock up and there's nothing like receiving a UPS box filled with your special selections. Shower gels, candles, hand lotion...even shampoo and conditioner. One of my fav purchases is pillow mist, Lavender Sleep is the most pleasant fragrance in which to doze off. Even he notices when I don't spritz the pillows! The semi annual sale is on right now in stores and online. I'll bite the bullet and will visit the store to try the new fragrances, but will make my large purchase online. read more

First time here and when I walked in I wanted to know what deals or specials they had, but the young employee girls starred me down and walked right past me and starting talking to each other. I didn't think much of it. Maybe that's just the customer service here I thought. As I was smelling the fragrances a few customers walked in all white people. They were immediately greeted and they started telling them about the special deals. That's when I thought that maybe race was an issue. Then more people came in all white and again all greeted and helped. My cashier was also extremely rude very young Hispanic female and by the way I am Hispanic myself. I asked her about the deals and if I could join their rewards program. And she literally did not want to help me. Gave me the biggest attitude. Then I came back because she charged me something that wasn't mine and again she was at the front starring me down with a mad face as I walked in and no greetings. I love going to this store but unfortunately I had a really bad experience with the manager (I forgot her name but it started with a Y). Me and a friend went in on Tuesday, July 23rd around 2-3pm and got followed by the manager. It started when we walked in and laughed about a candle. We weren't trying to be obnoxious, loud, or cause a scene, but it obviously left the manager in a bad mood. She started following us around the store, and giving us looks. Meanwhile we're just browsing and not causing any scenes or being too loud. She told her other coworkers about us, and how we were "misusing products" and not using testers. All we were doing was sniffing candles and hand sanitizer, like everyone does. I see everyone doing it, as it's just what you do when you go into bath and body works. We weren't using any products that were not testers, as that's disrespectful to do so. While we were about to buy hand sanitizer, we were sniffing some to see what we liked. The manager (who was already following us) came up and told us "Guys you need to make sure you're only using testers". Mind you, we were not using the products at all. It's not what she said, it's how she said it. She told it to us like we were children and she was lecturing us when we were doing nothing wrong. It was just a very condescending tone and it wasn't nice at all. If she was nice about it we wouldn't have cared. We're grown adults and we do not deserve to be talked to like that, followed, and looked down upon. We told a worker there and overall we just got a rude vibe from the manager. I didn't want to be rude about it and I hate causing a scene, but I don't tolerate being followed for no reason and being talked to rudely. We left without buying anything. It kind of felt like she expected us to steal as well, which was pretty disrespectful because we were legitimately customers. I'm really disappointed because this is my first time ever dealing with something like this. It's also sad to see that there's other reviews with stories about rude employees. Walked in and not greeted. Ok whatever not the biggest issue. I then walked past two associates gossiping. Ok so not the most professional but I get it they aren't making top dollar or probably any crazy commissions. After 5 minutes of looking at walls of soaps trying to find a specific type , "lavender foam" as I only saw the regular type on display. I Looked around to see if anyone could help but all associates were in the corner leading to their back office space chatting about their personal plans. I was so annoyed I left before I could even find the soap I was looking for but not before I walked past another associate on her cell phone with her head down. Not even a thank you for coming in or come again. I get no one wants to work on rainy days and if the shop is empty fine be as unprofessional as you would like but you can still easily say hello or goodbye when someone walks thru your doors. My experience was ridiculously GREAT here. They definitely lured me in with holiday scents and I had my boyfriend with me as well, who didn't bother stopping by here ever. As it was his first time, he's never had so much fun sniffing candles in a store before haha. The manager was roaming around making us feel so welcomed and encouraging her favorite holiday scents. The layout of the store is special, especially because they are a "White Barn" store, meaning they have more accents to offer than usual Bath & Body Works. I was going to stop by Williams Sonoma across the mall but I was so overly satisfied with my experience here, I didn't even bother. The service is SUPERB and I never bothered going to bath & body works, but I definitely will make an effort to visit this location. I only shop here for their hand soaps, I am absolutely addicted to them and they have a lot of scents to choose from. This is the smallest one I have been to and luckily they are never very busy. The customer service is great, ladies are all very sweet and helpful. My favorite's are Black Cherry, Meyers Lemon, and Watermelon Lemonade. They usually have great sales on these and sometimes clearance prices. read more
