This is probably the second or third closest Walgreen's to me but had the best selection of appointments for shots so I went with it! I went on a Friday after work. I arrived a few minutes early and I was walking out at the exact time my appointment was scheduled for. The pharmacist administering the shot(s) was super nice and the room was clean and cool. Bonus: On the way out I found the new Coca-Cola flavored Oreos that just came out and picked those up. I'll be back! read more

This Walgreens gets 0 Stars today. Stopped at 1:07 to get prescriptions. The lady at the drive up said they were just received and it would be 25 minutes before they were ready. Came back at 1:35 and the Pharmacy is closed for lunch. I should have been informed by the lady at driveup that the Pharmacy would be closed at 1:30 for lunch. I went inside and asked the cashier to see the Manager. She wrinkled up her nose, made some comments and called the Manager. He came and said " What's up"? And he appeared clueless . Very poor "CUSTOMER SERVICE by all three Walgreens employees. Would recommend going to CVS. read more

I would give this Walgreens negative stars if I could. Their staff moves at snail's pace and there is always a line to check out. And the pharmacy is worse. They're always behind - I've had to call numerous times to get a prescription filled and I'll go in and it still won't be ready. And that's AFTER I've waited at least 15 min in line. Walgreens corporate - if you are reading, upgrade your technology too, it's slow as well. read more

Lovely store. The front cashier greeted me pleasantly as I entered which was very refreshing. The store is nice and well organized making it easy to maneuver and find exactly what you're looking for. Plenty of yellow sales indicating sales, bonus reward points and buy one get one free options. The pharmacist on duty answered my question without hesitation. She seemed knowledgable and happy to assist. The stores carries everything from small food items, greeting cards, cosmetics, vitamins, walkers, ice cream, batteries and still offers the ancient process of photo developing. ~Christy read more

The pharmacy is so understaffed, I had to change to a different pharmacy just across the street. And the exterior is shameful, bird droppings on the sidewalks, litter and trash everywhere. This walgreens has really gone downhill since we moved here 6 years ago. read more

Had a 1:00 flu shot appointment at Walgreens at Clarkson/Clayton. Everyone that could give shots seem to be on lunch and the staff was clueless or rude on the hold up. Elderly gentleman had a 12:30 and was finally called at 1:15. Still 5 more people in front of me before I'm called. It is frustrating to be told to make an appointment to get something and the company does not adhere to the times! Trying CVS next year instead! read more

Pill numbers are never correct, text days to fill a prescription, prescriptions overlooked, and never filled unless you follow up, automatic refills not refilled, you name it! read more

This store is clean, well-organized, and I found what I needed. I've been looking high and low for a regular old address book with little tabs. It seems to have gone the way of the pterodactyl. But I found one here! There's all the normal Walgreens merchandise here, including a sizable "As Seen on TV" section -- always worth a chuckle or two. Rows and rows of cosmetics and perfume, lotions and soaps. Pet toys and automotive stuff. And a pretty hefty beer and wine section, along with other foods. Checkout was a breeze with the friendly and efficient clerk. And it's not always so at your neighborhood Walgreens! They're hauling out all the Valentine's Day wares. Wowee! read more

We just moved to the area and I am learning my way around. This Walgreens is huge, very clean and orderly! I was greeted right away and an assistant helped me find just what I needed. A huge perk was that she didn't just point or give me an aisle number, rather walked me right to the item. I also picked up a prescription while I was there and met Shannon, my new pharmacist. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. By far one of the best Walgreens I've been to. read more

2/14/2015 My son just told me about him and his friends being racially profiled TWICE. Both in Ellisville, at Walgreens and the Dierbergs across the street. It didn't matter that they greeted the staff when spoken to or that they were well dressed. They just had two black kids in their group. They even told the manager that followed them around the store, then followed them out of the store and asked the black kids to empty their pockets that he was racially profiling them. Even though the buzzer didn't go off, even though he never let them out of his sight. He told them that he knows what they do and he doesn't want them in his walgreens. The manager was brown too so you know he gets discriminated against. The walgreens didn't have the candy they wanted so they crossed the street to Dierbergs and greeted the clerks but the big white guy followed them this time.
