The CVS pharmacy in…read moreEnglewood, Florida is infamous for long lines, horribly slow service, and a culture of rudeness to customers that originates with the head pharmacist, a sour old woman who consistently abuses her little power base there. The rest of the staff, with one or two rare exceptions, follow her lead of open disrespect and nastiness towards senior customers. And heaven help you if you're filling a pain medicine prescription. That judgmental old hag behind the counter will very intentionally make your experience hell, dragging it out for days and often ultimately refusing to fill the order at all. What a nasty human being! That CVS store is losing customers in droves, as they have just lost my patronage after nearly 20 years. Apparently, the CVS managers just don't care.

I was standing right there. I defend the exorbitant prices at Publix because it's where I grew up shopping. Unfortunately ever since Sonja left this location it is absolutely horrendous. Customer service needs some attention and Bruce needs a stearn talking to.

I once was in check out and went to pay when I realized my debit card was missing. Rather than letting me come back to pay after work, the cashier used a card and paid for my $10 tab herself. So kind. I went back to repay her with a gift but I never did see her again. This Publix truly does care about their community. And it is a pleasure to shop here.

On their website they'll show a Rx is ready for pickup and you get there and it is not. Or one of their favorite alternatives is when you get there they say they already show it's been picked up. Google reviews have them at 1.1/5. Seems high to me. The worst part is they act like they're doing you a favor by filling your prescription. I take something like 30 pills a day but since it's Medicare Part D don't know how much they make on each one or what their margins are but I assure you I'm taking my business elsewhere appreciate it or not.

The selection is always good, but I wish they had more of the brands I like (creamer, yogurt, etc.). We definitely go there for specific items. The wine selection in store is good. The liquor store next door also has a good selection of spirits. Gas is the plus! Always so much cheaper than other gas stations in the area.

Supremely clean, large, and filled with new items, everyone is loving this (including myself). We took a trip here mid August to buy a few bulk things. Found some great deals on certain wine and golf balls. Also a lot of West Florida specifics for food/beverages in the frozen food section and produce/protein areas. It's definitely more expansive the other location in South Sarasota which is further and more of a hassle to get to for my parents. You know what you're getting at a Costco such as the food court, free samples, the warehouse deals for exclusive appliances/electronics, eye/optometry center, tire center, liquor sales, and travel offerings. And how can I forget the cheap gas! Welcome to North Port, Costco! The citizens are lucky and excited to have you!
