Walgreens has been in business since 1901. Now most people would think with all that experience they would know how to run a pharmacy. I assure you that's not the case. On their website they'll show a Rx is ready for pickup and you get there and it is not. Or one of their favorite alternatives is when you get there they say they already show it's been picked up. Google reviews have them at 1.1/5. Seems high to me. The worst part is they act like they're doing you a favor by filling your prescription. I take something like 30 pills a day but since it's Medicare Part D don't know how much they make on each one or what their margins are but I assure you I'm taking my business elsewhere appreciate it or not. read more

The pharmacy is better than Publix and the weekend pharmacist is a very nice; doing his best at all times.

The Female Hispanic store manager is horrible. Upon entering the store I chose the first person I seen and it happen to be her for assistance on locating a specific item. She said and pointed, "Over there against the wall " then she added "Good Luck". After 10 minutes looking and literally getting down on my knees in the fake finger nail section, I was at a loss. I began looking for a different person to help me but around the corner who do I find but her again. I POLITELY asked can you please help me find this one item. She walked over with me and said here try this one. I said that's not the one I'm looking for. Her response was " I do not have time to help you, I have to deal with getting the store closed". 1-Star Review: Worst Pharmacy Experience Ever If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This pharmacy is a complete disaster. They are always out of essential medications, and even when they claim to have them, they magically "lose" or cancel prescriptions without any explanation. I waited in line for 40 minutes, only to be told that my vital prescription was deleted from their system--as if my health is just some clerical error! The staff seems overwhelmed, undertrained, and indifferent. No one takes accountability, and if you try to get answers, you'll get vague excuses or be told to "check back later." It's unacceptable when people's lives literally depend on these medications. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else--this place is a joke, and not a funny one. read more

If could be a zero would be. Arrived 4:48 pm two min to close as really needed my rx and I rushed to get here at close. I hated getting there on the wire but they all rolled their eyes and I could see inside screen already down but not drive thru. This tall curly head man who is always so so rude to customers gets on mic without even stepping to look at me face to face and says "sorry we are closed" I said it's now 4:59 and I've been here for two minutes (which looking back was 1 min) and just need a rx that is already pulled ... sorry we closed our drawers. I said well you shouldn't close your drawers prior to closing time. Could you please just help. "No we can't " I said then will you mark my rx not to be put away and I'll be back in the morning. He went off mic ... saw pharmacist, the other lady and him shake heads and walked off to the side.... Or so I thought. Nope they all just walked out .... Mid conversation. Pharmacist and all!!! I called main store phone to ask for manager and no manager on duty till 7-4 tomorrow... told the young man on phone that they left mid convo and he said they all just walked out laughing. .... They didn't even finish closing the window with signs just left me mid conversation. There are too many options for pharmacies and I've seen this man be so rude so many times .... But today it was whole staff they all just walked out on me. First and foremost-I am a customer here having been among legion mistreated at local CVS. That pharmacy should be completely overhauled- the staff obscenely inept inhumane and should be nowhere near folks seeking their medical needs being met. The staff at this location walgreens -polar opposite. They are professionals, compassionate and go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer care. On 6/30 at around 10 am. The young women staffing the pickup were so kind and painstakingly earnest with their commitment to patient care -it actually got me choked up. -after the brutal treatment at CVS Englewood I guess I'm still unused to bring. This PHARMACY SUCKS, their staff is rude and ignorant! BCBS dropped Publix as a contracted pharmacy, so I changed to Walgreens, which I had no issues getting my prescriptions filled at. I needed to transfer to another Walgreens closer to me, UNFORTUNATELY I chose Walgreens 2940 S McCall Rd, Englewood, FL 34224. Huge MISTAKE! After repeated attempts to refill my medications, and being told my insurance company canceled my policy, then to be told that I had the wrong member number... I have been UNABLE to get my medications! I had called my insurance prior to going, just to make sure NOTHING had changed with my insurance. I spent 15-20 minutes on the phone, I was assured there were NO ISSUES! My dependent daughter uses the exact same insurance for her prescriptions, at this EXACT Walgreens pharmacy, she has no issues. Today 12/22/2020 at 10:15 am, I was again told there was an issue with my insurance. When I told her the issue wasn't with the insurance company... The twat waffle tech literally stood behind the counter and said "I'm NOT going to argue with you, the issue is with the insurance company." I tried telling her that I was just on the phone with my insurance company, and the prescription should be processed with no issues. She ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to even listen to what I was saying, or would even attempt to speak with me at all. She was incredibly RUDE! This was all heard by other customers, the other pharmacy techs, AND the PHARMACIST. Not ONE other person at the pharmacy stepped in to help, or even told the tech she was rude! That SPEAKS VOLUMES to the accepted treatment of their customers. I hope that anyone that has older loved ones, that use this pharmacy, reconsider!!! If you want to be berated by a wet behind the ears parrot, then this is the pharmacy for you. If you care about yourself and your loved ones, AVOID this Walgreens, at all costs! Personally, I'd like to have customer service that works on an issue, and gets people their medications... that IS THEIR job after all! I've been waiting 2 weeks for the remainder of my partial refill, and I CAN NOT EVEN GET ANY OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS FROM THEM!! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!! I am on a scheduled one drug which they do not fill till after 11 managers orders the last time. I never got this drug till after 6 o'clock at night I did not take it for anxiety. I have a neurological muscle disorder. I wanted to spasm, which is very painful and takes a while to come out of, I just called and had another prescription but they didn't tell me they were right up till I called although they did give me a partial bet was very nice but most of the time a lot of them that answer the phone have her attitude I just transferred my meds back to Walmart. read more

Purchased 3 vitamins which were BOGO. Checked my bag in parking lot and did not have the 3 free vitamins. Went back in to store and clerk said to go to the shelf and get the 3 free. One product was out of stock so clerk was to refund 50% for only buying one. No receipt for that. She said it would go back on my card. Never did get refund on bank statement. Went back in 7 days later and talked to manager. He said he checked surveillance and it showed I left store with two bags. Well that may have been after I got the 2 bottles replaced. Manager said technically I got 8 bottles of vitamins. I felt like I was being called a scammer. Wondering if he was looking at the right time on the surveillance. We have multiple prescriptions monthly and own Walgreens stock. Very disappointing customer service. read more

Saw my prescription was being filled or " in progress ". I called to make sure and the Tech said it would be ready by 11:15 or 11:30 at the latest. I explained its a 17 mile round trip to and from there. She once again said 11:30 to be sure. I stopped appr81 mile from Walgreen's and checked the App. My prescription was no longer there. If your life or that of a loved one depends on getting your medication please do not use this pharmacy. They messed up the chemo drugs of a loved one 6 months ago and now I went for my heart medication after bypass surgery, I went in on a Thursday with my prescription was told it would be ready in a few hours, then ready on Friday. On Friday I received a text that there was a delay please call which I did I was told that it would not be ready until Monday but that the pharmacist had spoken with my cardiologist and that was alright. On Monday I call the pharmacy and I am told it was still not available, so I call my cardiologist and find out it was not alright and no one had even called. Sent my refills in online Sunday evening. I went to the store Tuesday afternoon and they still weren't ready. I waited over an hour at the store to get prescriptions. At one point there were 14 people on a line waiting to be helped, a majority of them were told that their prescriptions were not ready. Places like this and have 1 Pharmacist and then about 4 pharmacy techs. For a chain this size they scrimp and the customers suffer. The phone was ringing the whole time I was there waiting, and I don't believe it was answered once. So unprofessional !!! read more

if i could give zero starts i would have. ...it is ridiculous to take an hour to do a covid test. this ppl are a pharmacy not a doctors office. to have you check all your information which it took forever just to tell us to go back around in line just like a doctors office is beyond stupid. then take forever once you get there for the test and then gave you no clear instructions. this js the worst place i've ever been to and to top it off is been way over 5 hours and got no results. this place is the worse pharmacy!!!!! read more
