Pharmacist Halle L. is a miserable non-professional. If I could rate her 0, I certainly would. She works evenings (The day time male pharmacist is WONDERFUL!). Unfortunately I must recommend forgoing all prescriptions at this Walgreen's location for fear you may encounter Halle L. Yesterday I called 3 times to get automated updates. First one told me scripts would be ready at 11:30am. Second update was they'd be ready by 2pm. Third update said by 6:30pm. I arrived at the drive-thru at 7:30pm (30 minutes before close). The assistant told me the scripts weren't ready and to come back in 15 minutes. I drove up to the window again at 7:46pm. Assistant told me they still weren't ready and to come back again in 15 (more) minutes, which, by then, would be after close at 8pm. I told her I would just wait there, thank you. Unprofessional "pharmacist", Halle L. got on the drive-thru phone and told me no one is allowed to, "block my driveway". I replied with, "I am not blocking anyone's driveway. There is no one behind me and you close in 12 minutes. If a car pulls up behind me, I will drive around, as is standard protocol." She then told me, "I have the authority to refuse service to anyone and I will not fill your prescriptions today." Up until then I was calm and understanding - even after waiting all day and yes, being told to come back, "in 15 minutes..". I asked her if she was serious. After she affirmed, I told her she was a miserable human being. I didn't yell, rather stated the fact in a less calm tone, maintaining volume control. If you want professional and prompt customer service, do NOT go to Walgreens and I warn you, stay away from Halle L. read more

This review is for whoever is managing. I came in tonight for a nail file. An employee greeted me. This dude was older and he was sitting. Literally no customers and a very slow night. And when I made my purchase he literally apologized TO ME for sitting. Like what the actual fuck. I cannot believe that someone high up probably made him feel like he could not sit and rest and then he has to say sorry to me. That is a disgrace. I would urge EXTREME caution using Walgreens pharmacy, especially if your prescription is an expensive one. And if the pharmacy has to substitute the prescription for another one, do not pick it up until you follow up with your insurance provider. ***In my case, I had done my due diligence with the original prescription (pre-authorization received from the insurance company) but unfortunately, the Walgreens pharmacy substituted the original medication with another one. I specifically asked if there were any insurance issues with the switch because the pre-authorization was for the original medication and the pharmacy manager (not providing her name as it SEEMS like it was not a mistake that she actually made) stated that "it went through" on their end. So I trusted that their system was checking not just what I would need to pay, but that the actual drug was a covered drug. But that was NOT the case...the substitution drug is NOT covered by insurance. The large payment I made will NOT go towards my deductible and any future prescriptions for this medication will also not be covered (and would require me to pay 100% out of pocket.) Which effectively makes this a prescription I cannot sustain...and therefore another route should have been discussed with my doctor. When I called the pharmacy manager back after the issue was discovered, it appears that the Walgreens computer system is not effectively set up to address situations where a drug is NOT covered by your insurance. She told me there were no red flags that would have alerted them to the fact that the drug they were giving as a substitute was NOT covered by my insurance. She went on to state that because they disclosed the cost and I paid for it, there was nothing that they did "wrong." But the fact that their system does not appear to notify the pharmacy that a drug is not actually covered with the insurance plan that has been entered is WRONG and MIND BOGGLING! The entire purpose of providing our insurance information is for the pharmacy to verify if it is a covered drug AND what it will cost me to fill it - BEFORE I PAY FOR THE PRESCRIPTION. Both pieces of information are vital to the customer making a fully informed decision...and the Walgreen's pharmacy system should be set up to provide that information AND the employees should be relaying that information. Again...do your own due diligence with your insurance before picking up and medications -do not trust that the Walgreens pharmacy has done it for you. read more

They pharmacy actually staffed with idiots. I have never had such a hard time getting prescriptions. My girl went to pick up a two prescription for me and they only have her one so she had to go back and get the other one cuz they fucked up. I called to get my refill prescription and they told me I had to wait for my a sign off even tho when I called me doctor he said he had already signed off on it. So now I'm doing all this back and fourth calling. I ended up having them change location for my prescription because they suck so bad. Absolutely idiots at their job. Need a whole new staff literally. read more

Unfortunately the pharmacy hours have been regularly reduced, making this location basically worthless if you primarily use the pharmacy. I used to fill all of my prescriptions here but had to transfer them elsewhere because it became too challenging to ever pick them up. Unfortunately I had a prescription accidentally sent to Walgreens Friday evening and attempted to pick it up today, only to find they are closed all day Sunday. I can see having reduced hours, closing at 6pm or something on Sunday but to not open at all? Seems unreasonable to me, people working full time may only have availability on the weekends to pick up prescriptions. This becomes even more maddening if you need the prescription quickly. Luckily the employees at the Evergreen Walgreens were super helpful and managed to transfer my prescription there and will have it filled within the hour. Otherwise I would have been out of luck, as my doctors office is also closed. Another concern is that the parking lot is usually full of people that aren't shopping there, usually homeless people and people doing/selling drugs with drug paraphernalia frequently laying around. This makes me hesitant to even go inside if I'm alone. While I realize the staff shouldn't have to put themselves in danger, they could hire security like they do at QFC on Broadway and Everett Ave to prevent these people from lingering around and making customers nervous. It's been a daily problem for many years and I wouldn't feel safe bringing kids here. read more

this has to be the worse store i been to drug sales in parking lot as well drug and homless asking for pills and looking in cars, the pharmacy now has to ask you if you have something and ask why you taking it. also they will tell you a price or guesting your insurance around other customers will not go back. read more

Located in the heart of Everett this place is wonderful for a chain pharmacy/store. The prices are high, (higher than most stores with most things) but you can occasionally find a good deal on make up and other things depending on the week. What makes shine is the staff. They are all friendly and professional. They are helpful and courteous and is an example of how more stores should work. read more

My husband and I had a terrible experience at this location. There for the wellness clinic, we were 4 minutes late, and they refused to see my husband. Forced him to reschedule. Then we asked to use the restroom which required a code. Nurse referred us to store staff. We asked store staff and they told us restrooms were for customers only. I told them we were there for the clinic, and they said the clinic should have given us the code. I told them they're all full of sh!t and left. Horrible way to treat customers, especially with an ailing husband. read more

I waited while this individual (can I say that without offending someone) struggled to enter my data into the computer and found it easier to help other customers pay for their purchases while I waited. This is a very good Walgreens. Yes, there's undesirables that hang out outside... but, that's not the Walgreen employees fault. It'd be nice if they had a parking lot security guard that would keep the drug dealers & users off the sidewalk next to the door, because honestly, none of us want to see that & especially don't want our kids to see that. The employees here are nice & helpful, and the store is well stocked. Really disappointed in the lack of concern for the safety of others, the woman working the till tonight let a man walk in without a mask and as I waited in line he cut in front of me and told me I was whining when I asked him to at least put a mask on, the woman then stood up for the man stating he has a medical condition... I have severe asthma it's difficult for ME to wear a mask and I'm also extremely at risk and could die if I get covid. I have a medical condition and still care about other people, I'm not selfish. I Will never step foot in that place again. I'm sure her lack of concern lays deeper than just one man not wearing a mask, I wonder if she cleans the counter at all or wears a mask herself. I hate this store, I used my Walgreen Iphone app to place my prescriptions orders. and was told that it would be ready for pick up the next day around 12 pm. When I went there around 1 pm, they haven't got it ready and the lady that work there acted all confused??? Wtf? what a waste of my times. Luckily I still have some pills left. I have always loved Walgreens. I have lived in this area for for almost 15 years and have chosen this Walgreens over any other drug store in the area, and often times any grocery store if I only needed one or two things. I absolutely despise the lack of garbage cans outside, there's trash everywhere all the time, I've found drug paraphernalia (including needles) many times. It's also very common to not only be approached by transients, drug addicts, and homeless folk begging for money as you walk in the door, but half the time you'll get harassed as well. I avoid bringing my children with me anymore because of the constant traumatizing experiences they endure before they've even gotten out of the car. This cuts back on my loyalty to Walgreens, as my children are with me often, therefore I have had to take my business somewhere else lately. It doesn't seem, or has ever seemed, to be a priority for the store to fix this issue. Recently I watched a couple men put non-purchased items in their coat and walk out of the store, to which I informed an employee, and was given a very scripted and monotonous series of blahblah BS about "keeping customers and employees safe." Cool, so people can steal from Walgreens and nobody cares? Which beings me to why I'm finally making this review. Like I said, I have been loyal to Walgreens for 90% of my shopping/service needs for almost 15 years, but during the past few months I have noticed one thing in particular. Every. Single. Time. I walk into the store. Over the loud speaker, "customer assistance needed in the cosmetic aisle," even when 1. I'm not in the cosmetic aisle, 2. nobody is in the cosmetic aisle, 3. I am in the cosmetic aisle and haven't asked for help, and 4. I'm literally walking down the cosmetic aisle to get to a different aisle. I didn't think anything of it until I realized it only happens with me. I've seen others walk down the cosmetic aisle, look at items, touch items, etc and there's never a voice on the loud speaker. It's like clock work, I walk into the store, " customer assistance needed in the cosmetic aisle." The thing is, not a single employee comes to assist me or approaches the cosmetic aisle. So, call me crazy, but what kind of secret code is that? Because it's getting really obvious. I went as far as Googling my skepticism and found that I am most definitely NOT the only person to have noticed. So, overall, with the constant outside harassment, apathetic employees, and "secret" codes - I think I'm done with Walgreens, sorry guys, you're embarrassing. 2 stars because there's an employee who is sooo great, I will literally wait in line until her register is open. read more

Nicely stocked, clean store with helpful, friendly staff. I pickup my prescriptions here too. There was a mixup with my baby's prescription which brought out the momma bear in me, but it was just a human error. Forgivable. The manager gladly gave me a $25 store gift card for my frustrations. I have only been here a couple times and the service has been slow to say the least. And yesterday when I showed up just before eight, when they open, nobody was there. About then minutes after eight someone, I assume the manager ran inside, followed shortly by other staff that had been waiting in their cars. They all ran inside, and then closed the door on the two people standing out in the cold. I waited until fifteen after, they still hadn't opened the doors and they completely threw off my morning schedule. So yeah, poor customer service. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I swore I wouldn't leave Bartells and shop at W when they built this new store years ago. But those flier-ad bargains keep me coming back nearly week after week. Milk: often $1.99/gal. Eggs sometimes $1.29. T.P. and paper towels: sometimes 2/$1. Usually really good food prices with coupon and Walgreens card. Of the meds I've bought, their prices are really good, and better if one signs up for a $20/yr Walgreens card. Save that much with the card's first use. read more

I've been in this store 4 times and every time I had to check out at photo for one reason or the other and the big lady who works behind the counter has been so rude to me every time. Horrible customer service in the pharmacy! It might be better to go back to a smaller pharmacy like the one in Marysville that is still privately owned. They said they left me a vm, 2 actually when I know for a fact they didn't call me once. I was actually waiting for a call. Then the lady lied and I said I called you personally, she did not or they were dialing the wrong number. I have to schedule a dr appt to pick up this prescription which is a total inconvenience. Had I known weeks ago when I dropped it off early I would have made the appt in the leeway I had given myself. They suck! read more
