I don't know why I never noticed this store. I wish I knew they existed at the Seattle Premium Outlet. Every time I need to pick up Estee Lauder Serum, I usually go to Woodburn Premium Outlet. *Taking a deep breath* Just discovering this gem!!! I mean who wouldn't drive 1 hour out of their way for discounted makeup brands like MAC, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, Clinique?!?! Thanks to Youtube and makeup alley- I decided to drag my husband and 4 yr old son with me. I enticed them with Auntie Ann's and the Sony Store... lol So like other reviewers- the MAC selection is limited- the store is very small- so i recommend coming earlier in the day or later in the evening... I can get pretty crowded in here. I wasn't all that impressed with the make up from MAC- but their lipstick and lip gloss for only $10 a pop!!! Umm Hell ya!!! that's $4 off retail!! What I really came here for were MAC's limited edition brush sets. You know the ones they sell during Nordie's Anniversary Sale and during the holidays? The 5 piece traveling sets that usually sell for $49.50? Um yeah.. I'm talking about those.. and here they retail for $36.50!!! Um hells ya!!! The store seems good until you experience the customer service. I asked about something on a counter behind the register. I was told It was there most of the day and I could buy it if I came back in 30 minutes had nobody claimed it as a hold item. Upon coming back, I was told It was on hold and I could not buy it. What's odd is, the person who told me that I couldn't buy it acknowledged that she saw the other person say I could buy it if I came back in 30 minutes. She stormed off dramatically when I asked who the supervisor was on duty. It wasn't her... The 'key holder' was the closest thing to a supervisor, and she saw it go down. She was nice about the whole thing, and the assistant manager and I talked the next day. Needless drama, and a waste of 30 minutes I say. read more

I've heard a lot about this store (thanks to Roxy for telling me about this place!) && have been wanting to check it out for awhile, mainly for MAC Products. Their MAC collections are ok, there were a lot of discontinued items that I didn't care for too much && a couple e/s that I definitely could live without for the time being. Not to say it's not a good place to go for a more affordable price but I would still rather go to a regular MAC store. I did love their Bobbi Brown collection though, I'd still go back to purchase items from there of course! I mean, who gives up a discount right? read more

I love the fact that you can purchase MAC, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, and Origins all in one store...at a DISCOUNT! I've only visited once, but my trip proved to be fruitful. I'm not sure how it is that I've only been here once...how could I have walked right by in the past? What it is, is this...Estee Lauder (and her many sub-brands) release all of their overstock and past collections that can no longer be held in mainline stores, to Cosmetic Company Stores. Apparently there's about 90 of them in the country, and they don't advertise. Nothing is expired (you can actually ask a sales clerk to prove this to you by asking how to read the date codes on all of the packaging), but everything is deeply discounted. I'm a bit of a makeup junkie (that's a huge understatement), so I kinda sorta went a little nuts. Lipglasses that I haven't been able to find since they pulled the limited edition line, contouring powders that have totally escaped the shelves, pigments and paints. I also found that this was the perfect place to get brushes (the selection wasn't amazing, but hey, if it's on sale, and it's high quality...why not? You can always do with an extra blender or blush brush right?!). I've heard that in other states, the selection is sort of hit or miss, and that sometimes other stores are really messy and gross. Not this one. It was actually pretty quiet. But please don't go and ruin it for me by buying out all of the stock. I believe sharing is caring. That's the only reason I added this...hahahahaaaaa! I was really disappointed by this store, especially since I read positive reviews before going. There was a decent selection of skin and hair care products, none of which I was interested in, and most of the store was occupied by Estee Lauder cosmetics and skincare (I've never been interested in the brand). The store was also a lot smaller than I expected. The selection of MAC and Bobbi Brown products was extremely sad. I'm not sure if the gross, well-used products were dirty testers or actually for sale..but I asked to see one of the eye shadows I liked and the store clerk said it was the only one left. I did go on a Sunday, so maybe I just missed all the good stuff because it was the end of the weekend. On top of all of this, the prices are not even that great. I'd rather buy from Coastal Scents or pay full retail at MAC or Sephora in exchange for better customer service and selection. read more

The store manager Barbara is a racist. The worst experience I ever had. I went to this store with my friends today. The store manager said I cannot buy it because the corporate office saw me from camera many times and corporate office asked her not allow me to buy. During the past several months, I only came to this store twice. I don't believe what her said is true. Why I cannot buy it according to store policy?? Even worse, she said to the faces of my friends that if they still want to buy it (no matter if they are the first time here or not), they cannot go to store with me. WTF?? I can't believe that I have been purchasing MAC and Clinique from the department stores when they have this little hidden gem of a store close to my house! They've got MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Origins, and more. They had a five pack of lip gloss from Clinique for $18! Not sure you could get that anywhere at that price. I was in on November 21st around 8pm. The sales woman was amazing. Really helpful, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Despite the fact that company policy does not allow staff to apply makeup to customers to help them chose (store policy does not allow employees to do that), she did an excellent job in customer service, 5 stars for her!!!!!!! Would have bought more if employees had more freedom with the products. read more

I came to the mall today to pick up gifts for my family and needed to buy several things at the cosmetic company. I purchased my son a drink with a lid on it right before walking into the store. I'm furious. I will never shop here again. I went in here to get something for someone else. A sales person helped me and told me I could return the item if it was incorrect, at no point did she tell me they do not issues refunds. I was able to talk to the person I made the purchase for and found out that it was wrong. I took the item back after only two hours and only then did I find out that they would not refund my money. I paid cash but they would not issue a cash refund. "We only do in store credit or exchanges." There were no signs that I could see saying that they didn't do refunds...I'm furious. I have an in store credit that I need to figure out how to use in a store that I no longer want to have my money. I am very specific about my make up needs and they DO NOT carry the brands I use. How the hell is an in store credit going to help me. Totally ridiculous practice in this day and age...get with the times. Can't believe they resort to such tactics to keep money in their business. I'm so very disappointed and will make sure everyone I know avoids this place. There are far better stores that deserve our business. read more

Any store that does not allow for cash refunds is not looking out for its customers best interests. Had I known I would not have shoped here for my wife this Christmas. If I could give 0 stars I would. I made a yelp account just so I could warn others about their store policy of "exchanges only". I handed the SA two bobbi brown eyeshadow displays I wanted to buy so she could grab the actual products and ring them through for me. Both colors she grabbed were wrong but I had already paid with my visa. One color was a little more expensive but they exchanged with the right one and gave me the difference in a cash refund. The other color that I actually wanted they didnt have any left in stock but wouldnt give me a refund back and insisted I exchange it for something else. I did not want anything else in the store but yet they wouldnt refund me my money for a mistake they made. Both SAs in the store insisted they were not allowed to do refunds but yet I received one 5 mins ago for the "exchange" of the right color I wanted. This felt like a scam "accidentally" giving me the wrong color so I wouldnt be able to leave without their product. Terrible store policy that seems to be seletively enforced as I received a cash refund back for the exchange for the first eyeshadow. Lesson to be learned: check what you're actually buying in case they do a bait and switch! read more

Avoid this store at all costs. I've visited this store at the Seattle Premium Outlet this past weekend and was planning to buy Bobbi Brown lipstick. I've asked one of the salesperson and they said they would check for me in the back. So, in the meantime I was browsing the store waiting for them to get back to me. 10 mins later, I asked if they found my item, but they said their still looking. I continued to wait, after another 15 mins pasted, I asked again and at that time they said they couldn't find the item. So, I complained that I waited this long and at that time the salesperson just ignored me and went straight to the back room. Almost an half hour has passed without them acknowledging that I was there, they ignored what I had to say. The whole store staff was all the same. In the end I just bought another item and proceeded to leave. But I was so angered and upset, that I just wanted to return the item at hand. At this point their store policy didn't except returns, even if I didn't leave the store. They never even apologized for this whole event that occurred, its seemed as if the staff and store policy is number one and don't care about customer experience or satisfaction.
