So if anyone out there believes that any Walgreens is quick, courteous, and/or concise with pharmaceutical transactions, you are sadly mistaken. I'm guilty of going there based upon corporate name and believing that counts for something. It doesn't. It's ridiculously glaring that health care and pharmacies have us by the proverbial "balls"! Needed to fill a prescription shouldn't put you categorically in "need" like you're some low-level, second class citizen. The U. S. has the best health care on the planet. There is a public restroom!! You just have to ask an employee to put an entry code in as it prevents non customer use.

They filled out only one of the two prescriptions for my 70 year old mother. They were arrogant and unapologetic that I had to come back twice. None of their staff stay longer than 2 months. They call you to remind you to refill a prescription even after opting out of that service, then don't even have the prescription ready when you do go to pick it up. Their lines of customers at any time around lunch or 5 pm are 10 to 20 people long. 10 years ago they were competent, now they are run by vindictive incompetents who don't pay their employees enough to stick around. This "operation" has an app that is as glitchy as is their attempt at retail pharmacy business. I have been on a blood thinner for more than a year and its expensive, $1400 for a 30 day supply with out insurance. Commercial insurance only covers a percentage leaving a huge copay that I have to cover using my Tri-Care benefit as I am a retried service member to cover the 400 additional amount not covered via commercial insurance. The blood thinner has to be constantly taken once you start or you risk stroke so if you cant get a refil then your in real trouble. For some reason the glitchy computer system that is definitive of a walgreens 3rd world experience wont receive to process new scripts from my doctor and keeps me locked out of getting any saying my doctor has not approved any refils. Neither my doctor or I can make any progress at fixing this because there's no one we can contact at walgreens who can; 1. Know they work at Walgreens and are answering their phone. 2. Capable of even acknowledging there is a problem and its them not us as they insist its all on me and my doctor no matter how many times we transmit a new script. 3. Someone who actually cares and is professionally capable to work a resolution or conclusion. They are unreliable and a high failure to manage issues they cause as they are out to lunch 24/7. So I have to find and work with a private mail order pharmacy that actually is in the business of pharmacological retail supply operations and is focused on that as part of their mission statement as expensive as that is for me as death is not an option. read more

NEVER will use this pharmacy again! The worst customer service. The pharmacist was rude!!! Refused to transfer my prescription to Good Day pharmacy. Very uncaring and rude! Did not offer any suggestions to try and help my situation. A no care attitude. Will not EVER recommend this pharmacy again. It's 7:45 PM, there's one cashier, having major issues checking out the customer ahead of me. Dinner is in the car and time isn't on my side. I only have a few things. Olivia, the supervisor, casually strolled by the line of customers, not concerned that we were all waiting. She and an associate prioritized locking one of the doors, together. So after several minutes of waiting in line, when I decided I had to leave all my things and come back a different time, I found myself at the door they had just locked, and they asked me to go around the store to the other side because they didn't want to unlock it again for me. I said, "I just had to leave all my things because this is taking so long" and she just stared at me. Anyway , it feels terrible to be a customer waiting and see employees choose not to serve you. The employees/shift leaders are great, always smile, are polite, and always get things done. They work hard together to satisfy the customers to their best ability. It's also clear that they enjoy working together as a team because they get to work together but they also get to laugh together. Savannah their manager, isn't as professional as she seems to be. Apparently, she treats her employees poorly and what I mean by poorly, is that she tells them that they're easily replaceable because 'thats how that cooperation works'. Leaving out the specifics of my situation...The pharmacy staff member I spoke to was abysmal. It's been YEARS since I've encountered such an incredibly rude and unapologetic employee at a store. They decided not to provide the service offered just fifteen minutes prior, before I drove across town for it. The manager on duty was very polite and apologetic, and seemed very reasonable, but nothing was done to correct the pharmacy's failures. I don't know that the manager had any control over that, either, but I'm just noting that the situation ended as an utter waste of time and complete failure. These pharmacists are awesome. I have a close family member that is adducted to drugs which is bad bad. However before this pharmacy they were using and sharing old needles which is super dangerous but most pharmacists shame people so they won't come in for new ones and by doing so they spread diseases . Not here , at Walgreens they know drug use is bad but they also know sharing needles is worse so they do their best to make you feel like a human and are very glad to help with your needs. Now I wish my family member wasn't on drugs but I can't help that I can make sure they are doing it safe as possible with new syringes and hopefully that buys them time to want to stop instead of stopping because they have contracted a disease which may or may not be deadly . This store is a joke. I am not one to post negative stuff about stores, restaurants, etc., but I am over it. This afternoon I called in my daughters prescription she must have. We are not allowed to fill it early so since she took her last pill this morning, I knew I needed to call it in. I spoke to a pharmacy tech that argued with me about not having generic. I explained to her that the generic has the opposite effect on my daughter and we will not have the generic. We have no problem paying higher priced for the name brand. (That is not her call to make unless she wants to take take care of my daughter herself for the next 30 days.) She said Walgreens would text me when the prescription was ready. I got my text, got to a stopping point with work stuff and drove to the pharmacy. There was a sign on the door saying it was temporarily closed due to Covid. I called the phone number and the girl I spoke with seemed shocked that I spoke to the pharmacy earlier in the day about a prescription. (Made me wonder what time they closed down.) She transferred my call back to speak to the pharmacist. I explained everything to him and asked if he could transfer the script to another Walgreens. He said "no." He said it is a schedule 2 and the Doctor would need to call it in to another pharmacy. I asked him why the pharmacy didn't have enough respect to contact me to tell me they were closing due to a potential Covid customer before 5:00 pm before the Doctor's office closed. He didn't say a word (shocker). I also asked him why the Doctor needed to call it into a different pharmacy when she called it into them, I didn't have a paper script, they could see we were completely out of pills, and what is the big deal if one Walgreens calls another Walgreens to transfer the prescription over if it shows in there system under the circumstances of Covid. He said that the State Health Board has that control. (Give me a flipping break!) I let him know he just lost a family of customers and we will no longer fill our prescriptions at ANY Walgreens pharmacy ever again. They have lost thousands of dollars a year from my family. I immediately called the Dr, left a voicemail asking her to call in the prescription to another pharmacy other than Walgreens. Also, anyone that ever plans on filling a prescription at this location, know there is not a drive thru and the line always takes forever. If you prepay, they do not allow you to go to the fast check out as they advertise. They tell you to get in line. Save your time and go to your local mom and pop pharmacy. read more

I began with Walgreens as my Medicare Part D provider and have been happy with the service at this store. They have always been courteous, helpful, and pleasant. If there is ever an issue they have immediately dealt with it. They even gave me a follow-up call to find out if everything went OK. It's obvious the Online system leaves a little to be desired but I have lots of meds and most confusion has been generated by myself. They have always worked with my doctors to directly to straighten anything out. read more

I would like to be clear that my experiences here are solely with the pharmacy and I will also be contacting Walgreens with my experiences. This store, by far, has the longest wait times. Several customers in line were complaining of this fact when a pharm tech cashier overheard them. The customers were loudly chastised by the employee, in a rude fashion, and told they "use all the registers they have" (so not true). Now onto the serious problems... In the past year one many occasions I have been wrongly notified of "ready" prescriptions that were not. I have not once been correctly notified when a prescription is ready. I have arrived to pick up these "ready" scripts only to be told they'd never received a script from the doc. I have been given wrong medication quantities. (This is costing you money, Walgreens) Good luck trying to call this pharmacy. They pick up the ringing phone and hang it up. A lot. I have been given "partial" prescriptions because they frequently run out of medications. In returning for the rest of my script I was told they have no idea what I'm talking about and my scripts were already filled. I know what you're thinking... that I'm "the crazy drug addict lady trying to score narcs". Well, you'd be wrong! All these "mix-ups" were for diabetes medications!! Today I was told to "Go to Walmart" to get my insulin because I could not afford theirs. How do they know how much money I have? Okay, I'm going to Walmart. read more

My wife and I recently moved from Aurora, CO to Ft. Collins, CO. We had all our prescriptions transferred from the Aurora Walgreens to this Walgreens. Our first encounter with this pharmacy was met with an extremely rude and hateful staff. They insist on speaking to us like we are stupid, and seriously act like they are going way out of their way to help us. They actually go out of their way to make us feel like they hate us with a passion. There are a couple of younger staff members that treat us well, but all the older staff are hateful and seem like they just don't want to serve us. Please know that this is just the pharmacy. Consistently one of the slowest pharmacies I've ever been too. I was told my prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. It's been 40 and still isn't done! This is the fifth time I've had a prescription filled and it always takes way longer than expected. I won't be back a sixth time! read more
