Blah! This is a very big Walgreen's, a very busy one, they really don't need any more customers and they seem more than willing to let you know that. The prescription lines are often long with a considerable waiting time. Though they have a drive through pickup that often ends you up in what is little more than a traffic jam. On this occasion I came here looking for some Blue-Emu, not the most common item, but I knew they had it. The problem was where they might have it. One clerk told me they didn't have it, another told me she couldn't help and the pharmacy clerk merely said she had never heard of it. Since I had plenty of time, I combed nearly every aisle and, no thanks to them, did eventually find it but at a price considerably higher than what the same item is priced for at Walmart. My suggestion would be that if you need a prescription filled, go to Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy located nearby at the southeast corner of NE 26th Street and NE 15th Avenue. They give much more personal service and have a far friendlier attitude.

This is the worst pharmacy in our area. Rude and uncaring pharmacist. We have had previous problems there before, but today was the worst customer service experience ever. I came in about 1 hour after it had already been opened the day after Labor Day. I needed a simple prescription, eye drops antibiotics. There was no need to change bottles or count pills. I just needed the pre packaged vial. Very simple! So I get there and it's very quiet; there's no one else in the entire drugstore. The pharmacist ask me for a min, in a rude tone of voice. Then when she came over to the counter, she checked that the prescription was in stock. Then asked me for when I needed it, I said asap because my husband didn't sleep the whole night in pain; he scratched his cornea during the day, Labor Day. We went to the urgent care and got the prescription. But could not find one pharmacy opened, I even drove 40 minutes away to the only opened Walgreens nearby but they didn't have the prescription in stock. So we had to wait until the next morning. She said: "it will take about 30 to 40 minutes because we are "busy" filling out the prescriptions that came in and yesterday we were closed!" I decided to wait. But then I could not sit still waiting, knowing my husband was still in pain and hearing the pharmacists chatting about random things, in no hurry to finish what they were doing or to help me. I asked for my prescription and left. They are the only pharmacy open early, at 7:00 am, but don't bother going there. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!! I left and drove about 10 minutes north to CVS in the corner of Federal and Commercial. What a difference!! It's a nicer drugstore, it's 24 hours, the pharmacy opens at 8:00 am and the pharmacists are welcoming, friendly and took care of me in 5 minutes!! That's is our go to pharmacy from now on!! STAY AWAY from Walgreens Pharmacy at 26th street

Is it normal to wait on hold for 57 minutes?!?! And when they finally answered, they couldn't help me. I called the next Walgreens on the list, they answered within a minute, and offered me a solution I hadn't even thought of!

A 24-hour Walgreens is always a useful place. You never know when you might need some antacids at 3 in the morning because you might have eaten something a little... off. This is a well stocked and well organized store. The clerk who checked me out was pleasant and friendly.

Unfortunately, I have to make a complaint about the store managers at this location. On 11/29, I went to this location and they had a small pothole in the entrance. The minute I hit it, my tire started leaking air. I went in and spoke to the manager on duty and she gave me the contact information for the store manager. That Monday I called the store manager and I spoke to another manager name Patrick. He took my information and told me he would call me back. I also sent an email to the store manager that same day and one week later I still do not have a response from anyone at the store.

My favorite Walgreens, featuring a next door attached liquor store, which I'll be discussing. Though small they have a large inventory of booze which is quite surprising...to my delight they have skinny-girl cocktails which can be hard to find. The store is always clean and stocked nice. They have a nice clearance section, where you'll find some great deals ; prices are right on. BTW You do have to enter through a separate door to get in. No entry from the main Walgreens. I like to come here to stock up for the weekly essentials:) and lastly great customer service. I think to go to the big box liquor stores are fun but it's nice to pop in this location, without the overwhelming feeling of finding one thing.

But this is a dump and it should be nicer. I've lived here for 12 months. I stop in frequently and this employees car is ALWAYS here. Always. Applause for holding down a job and working a lot but you're clearly young. In business, employees park as far away from the front door as possible. You have a huge parking lot but insist on parking in a prime space. This is where paying customers are supposed to park but the stores management is clearly okay with this and that says a lot. Why do I care? This is where Karen is justified. When I was in college I worked in stores and restaurants. I can't recall one business that allowed an employee to park anywhere convenient. Why would they? Prime spaces are for customers. So here we are. The staff feel entitled to park wherever they want. Not just here. Almost everywhere. It's the wrong way to conduct business. It's not how it used to work. And some wonder why many of us are very very supportive about strict immigration laws. So oblivious.

I called to do a transfer on some of my scripts and I waited for four hours and that's OK. It's totally fine to be understaffed but it's not OK. It's to yell at me and tell me that it's just you and another guy. Then when I go to ask him, how did the transfer process works for my antidepressants my OB/GYN put me on for my pregnancy. He seems very annoyed to answer these questions. Sorry I have questions. I've never done a transfer before I just moved out west and it wouldn't make sense to drive one hour away to pick this script up. While he's being super rude, I asked to speak to his manager, and then he proceeded to tell me that I'm being very complicated and very difficult yelling at me and then hanging up on me. I called back because I just wanted my question answered and because they have caller ID nobody answered my call. This makes me very sad because if they're treating pregnant women on antidepressants like this yelling calling them difficult calling them complicated just because I had a simple question I'm difficult. No it's difficult is that he has to work with one other guy and I should never know that information. He came back from lunch angry but it's unacceptable to take it out on patrons especially patrons on medication's. They just simply need a few questions answered. Good luck getting an employee's name. Good luck getting transferred to a supervisor or a manager, but definitely be prepared to get yelled at by a pharmacist. This is definitely a leadership problem. Whoever is managing this location has no clue how to manage. The pharmacist is now yelling at patrons because they are super stressed out because their manager doesn't want to hire more pharmacist. And it's definitely a leadership problem when you asked to speak to a manager and they feel comfortable enough to yell at you call you names and hang up on you. If they had good leadership at that location, they would not be behaving in these manners.
