This place always have the most friendly and helpful staff than I have ever encountered at other walgreens. Came in today to get a passport photo taken and I've mistakenly brought a white long sleeve collard shirt that would not go with the background white wall. Lucky enough for me PAUL offered to lend me his blue collard shirt. Saved my day, Paul with his friendly smile will win you over, but I shouldn't leave out the other staff they were as much attentive to the customers as Paul was. Thanks guys. read more

Only come here for first time/one time RX's. Never usually have a problem. But recently my DR prescribed 10mg of a medicine, it was clearly written, and instead I was given 20mg with the same instructions for the 10mg dose. I did not know this until I was informed by my DR I am to only be taking 10mg. Oops. Not really my fault so pharm tech's and pharmacists need to check better. I too am in the health care field so I know mistakes happen. Just want them to have a heads up. read more

Very frustrated with the poor customer service from the pharmacy. I had to take my 3 year old to urgent care, and their system was down so they had to write me a paper prescription. I take the prescription to Walgreens and the person takes it then looks at the clock and says "do you need this tonight because we close in 6 minutes." The prescription is for amoxicillin which I know is super common so I ask her if there is anyway they can fill it real quick, the computer system at the dr was down or they would have received it literally 5 minutes earlier. She went to go ask the pharmacist and I heard the pharmacist give her an aggressive NO. She comes back and tells me "no, sorry, but there is a 24hr Walgreens at Brookhurst and Warner, this is a really easy prescription so it should be quick". (WHAT?! THEN WHY CANT YOU DO IT?!) ps, there isn't even a Walgreens on that corner...and as I'm walking away I can overhear the pharmacist tell her "you know there isn't a pharmacy there"...but they didn't call after me to let me know. Mind you, I have my 3 year old with me who is crying because her ear hurts from her ear infection...Very disappointed. read more

Since the brand new Walgreens next to my work hasn't even finished being built yet, I frequent this one on my way home from work quite often. Like every 2-3 days. They have my cigarettes for cheap. They have orange soda for cheap. The store is clean and organized. The adorable older lady that rings me up all the time is sweet as pie. I've talked to another older lady about my tattoos and why young people get them [me trying to be the voice of reason for my generation]. Everyone here is super nice, and who knows, even when the finish the new one by my work I might still come to this one. It is on my way back home, and they are definitely awesome here. read more

Very slowwwwwww service. Prepare to wait forever at this pharmacy location. I came to this store twice for my covid vaccine. In both instances, I had to wait at least 30+ minutes just to talk to someone. I came into the pharmacy at 11:50 am for my first covid appointment at 12:20 am. There were at least three people before me and I didn't get help until 12:30 am. I did not get my covid shot until 1 pm. For today's appointment at 12:20 am. I also came to the pharmacy shortly before noon. This time, I thought the service would be faster. Nope, same thing, I had to wait until 12:37 pm before a pharmacist finally offered me assistance. Even though there were at least four people working in the pharmacy, only one pharmacy clerk is registering people for the covid vaccine. I'm glad I'm done with getting the covid vaccine, but I don't think I will ever come back to this location again. My husband also got his vaccine today at the Walgreens on the corner of beach and Westminster. He was in and out of the store within 20 minutes. I went to two different Walgreens today. They operate like night and day. The one on beach offers super fast service, yet this store doesn't seem to care about customer service. If you have a lot of time in your hand and don't mind the long wait, then come to this store; otherwise, pick another Walgreens location for your pharmacy needs. read more

Review is based on my experience with the photo/pick up center. We came in on a Saturday morning around 9am. Came in to develop some photos of my mother-in-law for memorial purposes. We had a specific size we had to develop photos for and they were 2 3/4 by 3/14. They were specific for a specific sizing frame. I had the photos in on my phone. 1st computer didnt sync up with my phone. 2nd computer did synced up with my phone; however, it took forever to find the photos since i had over 1000s of photos on my phone. By then it was 9:35am. The young girl who was working at the photo center by the name of Vanessa was so patient and so helpful with everything. She even went into my phone to set up the USB connection so it can sync up properly with Android configurations. Lastly, she knew I was crunched on time so she asked if i wanted to google share the photo with her on her personal phone so she can sync up her phone and upload from there. I was impressed and so grateful for someone so patient and so helpful just to print out 4 photos for $1.09. Overall experience with Walgreens with this particular store was they really train their staffs to go above and beyond for customer service. read more

They never answer the phones in the Rx. Charged me double on my RX than any one else. Poor customer service. Won't buy from them again. CVS is better. Better prices and way better service. read more

I shop at Walgreen today and I am pleased with the customer service and the staff named Ashley. She is really kind,helpful and I am happy about that. I need to purchase a perfume for my cousin and it costs $42. I tell Ashley that I checked Walgreen website yesterday and I saw the sale price was $25 for the 1.7 ounce bottle. She then talks to the manager if she can sell the bottle at the sale price. The manager agrees and i get the perfume for $27.10 included tax. I also buy some makeup and sunscreen for my friend but one lipstick and one sunscreen product are out of stock. I kind of unhappy about that but because of the helpful staff, I don't mind.Definitely come back at this location :) read more

pharmacy review. was informed by a clerk that it would take 1 hour and 40 minutes to fill my antibiotic. so i left thinkin wait that doesnt sound right. so i returned and informed another pharmacy staff, "Michael", that i do not plan on waiting that long to have it filled and if i can have my script back. keep in mind the pharmacy was back to back busy at this time. Michael delivered superbly on customer service and filled my medication within a minute and inform me that i shouldnt have to wait that long. rather than shoo me away so that the load is less on them, he took care of my needs in a professional manner. thanks a bunch. much appreciated. 1 star down only cause the line wait is long. maybe they are understaffed. oh wells. read more

Very slow and very rude pharmacist...there are plenty of other places to get meds filled. Went to get a prescrip an hour after the doc called it in. At the driveup window was told it would be 10 mins. I said that I would stay unless someone pulled in behind me and then I would leave and come back around. I got a rude lecture from the pharmacist about waiting my turn when they were busy...no one was behind me and you cannot see what is going on inside. Instead of asking me to come back, they acted as though they were doing me a favor by filling the prescrip they had had for more than an hour. It was a very basic precrip that just needed a label attached, no counting, nor bottling, just put the label on. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The pharmacist Molly is heartless. When a medication of mine had been denied due to a computer glitch they advised I would need to fix the problem my self. After 10'days of no medicine - cold turkey - and several phone calls later the issue was finally resolved by my insurance company confronting her. In the end it wasn't my responsibility to clear up the problem it was the pharmacy being to inconvenienced to make a call. Had to report Molly to the pharmacy board........... results still pending....... read more

After shopping at Walgreens and being a loyal guest and neighbor for years , in store number 09534 I experienced a racial discrimination and I will never go back. I had an encounter with a new shift leader that was extremely rude. I do admit that I ran into the store asking for a favor that sounds wired, I ran in the store asking if it is possible to grab a little bottle of water to take my medicine with it but unfortunately, I forgot my wallet at home and i don't have a dollar to pay it so I asked the leader polity if it is possible to grab the water and bring the money tomorrow because the store will be closing in 30 minutes. He answered rudely, no you can't you have to buy it and if you want to drink water there is a water fountain in the store, I told him I can't take my medicine with the water fountain because its hard for me to swallow the tablet while I am bending my self to drink from the fountain. He answered sorry I can't help and he kept following me in the store as if I am steeling the water. The tone he used was rude and as if he was kicking me out of the store. I am very dissatisfied with Walgreen and surprised that they would treat me like this. The level of rudeness was unbelievable. For going over the store and just asking for a bottle of water which i used to buy the whole 48 pack for 3 bucks from Costco. I get treated like I had stolen something. read more
