Came to this store for passport photo on may 11, the store was understaff. The only staff was the cashier no one was at the photo booth. The cashier was helping me taking picture but was not up to standard. I was in hurry so I told here I will come the next day. I did, may 12 around 5:15. I arrived at the store it was busy long line at the cashier. I walk straight to the photo booth, saw 3 employees was talking with each other. Half way, a women walked pass me and hurried asked for manager. The employee did not denied anything and talked to the women while the other 2 employees moved to other counter and still talking and mind their own business while I was standing there waiting. I have no idea why 3 employees there but ignored me as a costumer. I dont know till when I have to wait. But I decided to head to walgreens at bullards. Here I wrote this review at the parking lot. You deserved 0 star if I could read more

Always a nice "Hello, Welcome" from the courteous employees when entering the store. Shelves are always nicely clean & stocked. On this particular day I went in to get a Flu Shot. Arrived at a good time, no wait for the shot. Was in & out within about 10 minutes. Some insurance plans cover cost of shot - yeah mine was covered. Throughout the store they follow social distancing & wearing of face masks. **Tid bit of information your arm will be sore for a few days after the shot**. Shop local, stay safe!! read more

The store was recently rebuilt (took most of the last year - unbelievable!). My husband is passing a kidney stone today (Sunday), so I call his doctor for some pain and anti-nausea meds. He phones them into the Walgreens, I go to pick them up, and the pharmacy is closed! I ask a girl in the photo center why it is closed, and she tells me that on Saturdays and Sundays the pharmacy is closed a half hour for lunch. WHAT??? I called the 800# and filed a complaint with corporate. We'll see what happens - luckily, my husband is in between throwing up from the pain and able to sleep right now - going back after posting this review. Update: Returned from picking up the meds. Pharmacy Tech said that the Fresno area District Manager instituted this policy of the Pharmacy closing for lunch from 1:30 - 2:00pm when only 2 people are on duty, which he said is only on Sunday now. Executive Manager of the store said that Walgreens had been sued for Pharmacists not being allowed to go to lunch, so this policy was implemented, and she apologized that the employees did not put up the 'out to lunch' sign. She said that if 2 Techs and 1 Pharmacist are working, the Pharmacist can go to lunch and the 2 Techs can operate the pharmacy alone; 1 Tech cannot. She also advised that if enough customers complained, maybe the company would change the staffing. read more

Your pharmacy technician, Marlene is the definition of true professionalism and is the perfect example of superior customer service. Ignore all these other negative comments that you see from these sad individuals who have nothing better to do than to tear other's down with their negativity. As I am here to spread awareness and positivity of this fantastic human being that you have working at this pharmacy location. Marlene not only exemplifies the true meaning of customer service, she also is a stellar representation of the word "respect" truly stand for. I have bared witness to her dealing with these obnoxious buffoons who are just as pathetic as the individuals who make negative comments about your store and she handle's their rude behavior so incredibly well with a beautiful smile on her face. When she is working with your Pharmacist, Ali, they both work exceptionally well and wonderful together ensuring that my prescriptions are filled in timely manner. I can tell when employees of yours are being fake but when it comes to your star employee, Marlene, she is as sincere and as genuine as they come. It doesn't get any better than her at any of your Central Valley Walgreens pharmacy/stores. read more

Divided opinion: : 5 stars line staff & photos , TL;DR 1 star neighborhood, (adjacent liquor store & bus stop) 2 stars mngmt-when the homeless in parking lot rob and threaten you :manager will call cops when asked (+1) when you flee into store, but then tells you to leave store because you have the bicycle homeless were trying to rob you of (zero lol). After all, bicyclists in Fresno are lowlifes, right? No bikes in store, robbers in parking lot OK however lol. Most times when I go there, there is rotating homeless cast-member in lot. Zero security presence. Female blond manager 30s40s Good : all customer line staff (" little people") very helpful and seem knowledgeable ; photo people seem to have some specialized knowledge or are expert and if you send them high rez the photos come out very good. only drawback is larger -than -snapshot size photo items had no sorting system, all large photos packages scattered on bottom shelf of pickup area and worker has to pick up each one and look at it to select --which could be 30-40 while you are wondering what's going on. OT:Walgreens is closing 500 stores, this type of operational detail explains why : one of the last best-bought-locally items -large photos & canvases -- and they don't even take 10 minutes to mark off alphabetical pick up sub-areas on a shelf. I come here for the pharmacy and it's standard service for a pharmacy. I get my meds on time, its close to my doctors office, and they have a drive thru so I don't need to get out of my car. The coupon apps help with costs as well. read more

Service is horrible. Checkout lines are ALWAYS slow (if you can get anyone at a register). No one seems to know how to jump in and help so lines get crazy long. When asking about items no one knows inventory or about sale items. Disappointing to me since it's near my house. read more

Yesterday I got a prescription for my son and called a Walgreens on my way home to make sure I could have it filled there. The employee said first she couldn't give me any information and patched me through to the pharmacist. I asked him the same question and got the "due to the times they've been robbed in the past we are not able to tell you if we have those medications on hand over the phone." "But if you walk in with your prescription and we don't have it we can look up another Walgreens pharmacy that does and can fill it for you." Ok... so on my way to work today I walk it into this Walgreens and the pharmacy technician tells me they don't have it in that dosage but can order it and it will be here by Friday. So I ask them can they check if any of their other Walgreens pharmacy has the medication like the other Walgreens pharmacy employee suggested the other day and let me just copy and paste here: "due to the times they've been robbed in the past we are not able to tell you if we have those medications on hand over the phone." But this time she modified it a little and added "I can't look up any pharmacies that may have that and you'll have to go to another pharmacy." Followed by a sarcastic "Sorry about that Have a nice day..." With customer service like that and an inconvenience in so many ways, I will never go to another Walgreens. read more
