I literally live directly in front of the store, walked over to get meds because my family is sick. I arrived at the door at 9:21 pm, all 3 doors were locked....I hope that so-called security camera works!! I used the in-store kiosk service to send money, and one of the employees charged me $10 for assistance, even though the error wasn't my fault but a system error. I will not be returning to that store. read more

Apparently this Walgreens has been opened since November 2019. From the main roads it looks abandoned but there is a Walgreens sign and Grand Opening banner on the front of the building facing the other buildings in the center. Everything is clean and organized and the people are very friendly. I picked up some photos from Shutterfly that were ready within an hour of ordering and they were decent. read more

I could not find a specific item that I needed and was referred to ask the pharmacist. I walked up to the pharmacist and asked if I could ask her a question and she said no you can't I'm closing for lunch. I said I can't ask you a simple question on where an item is before you do that she replied no you can't. I thought that was extremely rude and very unprofessional, clearly her priorities are not her customers. read more

This is for the pharmacy. I've lived all over Maryland, and it wasn't until I moved up to Germantown that I started using Walgreens. I've been to CVS and Safeway to pick up my hormones in the past, but nothing has compared to my treatment at Walgreens. Truly one of the most welcoming pharmacies I've gone to. They allow me to have my preferred name on file (cvs refused to do that), and they understand that the hormones I use are injectable so there's little to no issue trying to aquire the needles I need to use (other than stock issues but obviously that isn't entirely their fault). I've had all sorts of issues with that at other pharmacies, so to see how understanding and knowledgeable alot of the staff are, it really brings peace of mind to me when picking up from here. I'm sad I'm moving again so soon cause this one has really become a home for me. Thank you all so much! read more

I give Brian, Meylin, Taylor and MD 5 stars for making my whole experience excellent. I have health issues so I got the last appointment for the Pfizer shot at 7:30 PM and I am glad. It was quiet and not a lot of people were there. Brian was the pharmacist who gave me the Pfizer shot and he did everything correctly. Because, I have gotten the Pfizer shot there a few times before it really was not necessary for me to stay the whole 15 minutes. I did shop a little and spoke to Meylin with customer service who assisted me with what I was looking for. I spoke to the manager Taylor who was helpful in answering my other questions. My cashier who checked me out was MD and he was very polite and kind. read more

This is the closest Walgreens near Clarksburg right now, although it's in Germantown. The pharmacy wasn't the most organized and took longer than most Walgreens. The location is right off of the interstate 270 so it's not too far of a drive. Hopefully we will see one closer to Clarksburg soon! read more

Where do I begin? Let's start with the Pharmacy. I transferred my prescriptions from another local pharmacy for a number of reasons. Mainly being that they never had prescriptions ready, and the high turnover rate with staff and Pharmacists. When I first started going to Walgreens pharmacy, they were perfect. Prescription was always ready on time, above and beyond service. Yesterday, for the first time in almost 2 years, a prescription that I have been taking, generic at that, was all of a sudden not covered by my insurance. After three calls to my insurance company, a prior-authorization and a phone call from my doctor, the medication was approved until June of 2024 which is the only reason I will be continuing to patronize this business for my prescriptions. The Pharmacist, pharmacy staff, and phone person will not give you any information except..."I understand". I don't even know who the Pharmacist on duty is because there is a new Pharmacist every week. Todays visit: 6/24/2023 Nothing on the shelves, absolutely nothing. Pharmacy out the door at 5:59pm. So I grabbed a few cleaning supplies. I get to the cashier, he can't tell me the pharmacy hours for Sunday and he's clearly nodding under the influence of something. So I come home to call and get the information for the district manager and was told this location has NO STORE MANAGER at that location or on duty. No store manager. They have been operating a whole business and pharmacy with no store manager. Long story short, say no to drugs and be buyer be aware of your surroundings. Get your prescriptions filled somewhere else. read more

When is this location closing? It is worthless to the community. Drive thru either has a sign "drive thru closed come inside" or today " no pharmacist on duty no prescriptions can be picked up or sold" WTH? just sell the store to CVS or close. Going to have to change pharmacy. Not convenient, not helpful, not a viable business model. SMH. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. My prescription, with four remaining refills on it, was "closed" and no one knows why. It was supposed to be ready Sunday. No call from pharmacy to tell me. I only find out today when I go to pick it up. My doctor's office has called, also puzzled. They had to send new orders and still I have no answer on when or even if it will be ready. If they ever manage to fill it, I will be transferring it somewhere else. read more

The Pharmacists in charge of immunizations and vaccines are so super nice. We go there for all of our shots. I liked the card selection better when it was Rite Aid...better cards and cheaper. All around the staff is very pleasant and helpful. I'm glad it's in my area. read more

The male pharmacist here is nice. I had issues with my insurance and he worked days until it was resolved. The female pharmacist (shuti) on the other hand was not willing to try to resolve the problem, instead telling me the price I was being charged was correct and she didn't need to look any further into it. read more

The pharmacy staff are conscientious and friendly. When this was a Rite Aid it was marvelous and low priced. But since conversion, the store is awful. The software is terrible. First, they always lose any electronic -transmitted prescriptions, without fail. Four doctors, many times, all lost. So get a printout and hand it in. Second all their coupons are deceitful. They have multiple hidden conditions and exclusions. I had a $5 coupon good on next purchase. It expired date was in 15 days, ok. Then it said must use in 7 days! Must buy $20 not counting medicines. I brought it in to buy vitamins in 2 days. It didn't take the discount. The staff guessed it means Next next $20 purchase! In 7 days!? Just one example. Most discounts have issues. Third the managers are clueless and lazy, especially M. Ask them why things don't work, they take 20 minutes to show up and can only say I don't know. Numerous occasions. Last, prices routinely higher than Walmart. WORST drugstore ever! read more

This is EASILY the WORST Walgreens store I have ever been to in my entire life. I used to work for the company way back in the day and they have fallen quite far service wise since then. The people in the pharmacy here have the absolute worst customer service, the "drive through" is CLOSED 90% of the time and it takes HOURS for them to fill even the simplest prescription- IF you are lucky that is. If something is out of stock they will hold your prescription for hours without telling you so be prepared to have to find somewhere else to get an important medication in the middle of the night... or in some cases for days. Having also worked in that field I find the pure incompetence quite scary. They also take forever to answer the phone and then try to blame everything on being "so busy" like they are the only pharmacy in the entire area. This place is pathetic when it comes to the pharmacy, hence the rating, but the interior of the store otherwise is quite nice and well kept. read more
