I went to Vincent's Pharmacy with GRANDMA in the 1970's when it was up in the building across the street from Rockville General Hospital. I went to was a patron when it moved to the strip mall down in back of where the old Zahner's used to be.... My mother used them all her life and they saved her from being extorted by one of her live in aides with me.... then they move and new ownership comes in and wants to utterly ruin their relationship with the long-term customers like I am who only owes 6 dollars and needs medication for a yeast infection that can be paid within two weeks, they can't give me my medication even though I've been paying my bill and have payment on file with them. I'm not one of those who use them wrack the bill up and then move onto other places either.... I cared about my relationship and loyalty to them and they snub me. Well forget them....I guess I'm going to have a yeast infection for two weeks..... these younger people don't know what loyalty of a customer truly is. I'm furious. I wish John didn't sell he cared about the person not the pocketbook when it concerned the health of a person! It's not like a yeast infection medication is a controlled substance either. WTF really? My five star rating just went down to two to one stars with this place. These new owners had better pray to GOD they never get sick when they are older and are denied basic healthcare services. If I didn't know better they are predjudice against people on SS Security or State... He told me to go someplace else and get my medication. He also told me to call my doctor to get a cheaper copay one this is why I think he's prejudiced against those with state healthcare. Why would he say that if this med was only$20? He feels like he should dictate to the doctor what the best medication is?.... I could understand better if it was 60-100 dollars then sure suggest away.... He didn't care I've been a long-term customer.... and I put this up on their reviews and lookie they took it down. I guess reacting strongly isn't the best way to go about this but... it just hurts to be treated like this when you've been a loyal customer for almost 50 years of your life. 50 years I owe them six dollars from past two months.... I couldn't pay this month the plan was to pay them the third.... I've put in a call to first choice. They do have a pharmacy I'll be calling tomorrow to get the ins and outs of getting them to help me. I don't like the other pharmacy's around here. And now this is the third bad interaction with them in six months' time. I wonder what changed with them. Is it just new ownership or new management? I put in a call to ask nurse how long I can let this go without treatment. NO ONE likes being treated like they don't matter when it concerns who is on their healthcare team. Pharmacy's are part of a healthcare team for an individual. People who have been loyal do not like to feel like their loyalty is disregarded either. I'm not out of line here. The only out of line thing I did was drop the F bomb a couple times. I got the yeast infection because I was on the antibiotics. Now see after hours nurse called me back calling office tomorrow seeing what they can do and then First Choice does have a pharmacy, so I'll take my business there... I'm done. I do NOT recommend Rockville Pharmacy to anyone at this point. They have changed and do not care about those in the community who are on fixed incomes anymore. We have a lot who are. First Choice Healthcare Centers has always been good to us and I go to them for everything. They just started this pharmacy so I'm going to call them and see about rolling everything including my daughter's things over. Want to know what the problem is? Yeast Infection with an open wound. I have a boil that just burst and another one that will be soon on my inner thigh. I have to be very careful the yeast doesn't get into the bloodstream through this open wound. The pharmacist didn't need to know this!

I ordered 2 hotdogs and waited while I watched people with my exact order be served ahead of me…read more Multiple people who walked into the store long after I ordered were getting their hotdogs. Kristen was the attendant. I'm shy, so it took me a while to finally speak up for myself--i didn't want to be rude. She told me the hotdogs were gonna take a while. She had given away the last hotdogs. I tried to ask her to check for my number to make sure it wasn't lost but she refused. Kristen dismissed me and walked to the back. She returned a few minutes later with a coworker and was laughing looking in my direction. 15 minutes later, the new batch was ready. Kristen had an order for 2 hotdogs so I was sure they were mine. But then she called order 137. We were 112. Luckily my dad intervened and said "no that's order 112." She shrugged then threw the hotdog bags at him. ??!! Insane behavior. An acknowledgement would've meant a lot, but instead it felt like I was being gaslit. I think they may have lost the ticket but she wouldn't look at my receipt to check!

This is the real deal, a friendly pharmacist that knows everyone's name and gives personal attention to his customers. I saw him spend nearly ten minutes giving some poor soul with a hacking cough incredibly detailed instructions on when to take her two prescriptions. It's a pretty good sized store that also sells toys, greetings cards, and even beer, wine, and liquor! Something for everyone!

The produce section is the best of most of the stores in the area (IMO) although sometimes things can be a bit expensive. I like that Big Y brings some different brands to our area. I've certainly found some things there that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. They have a great beer selection for a grocery store, I think they are associated with Table & Vine which means they have more local and small craft beers than your typical grocery store fare. Keep an eye on the sales for sure!
