The doctor prescribed azithromycin. It was outside of the pharmacy's business hours, but I decided to send the prescription there and get it the next day rather than go somewhere else. I stepped out into the parking lot and my phone rang. It was Evan. He had dropped in to work to deal with some odds and ends and saw that I'd been given an antibiotic. He wanted to know if I needed it immediately. I was fine waiting until Monday and the doctor had agreed. So on Monday, my medicine was delivered (as always) free of charge (as always). Evan is a kind, concerned health care provider, not a store manager pinned down by quotas. He cares for his patients, and even just now took my call right away because I had some questions for him. There are cashiers and they also have two self checkouts so you can get in and out pretty quickly.

An old fashioned pharmacy that sells what you would normally look for in a drugstore. The selection is not great, where you might only find 1-2 brands of something, but at least you can get your hands on something you are looking for or need. There was a lady sitting behind the counter looking at all the customers with an eagle eye...I don't know what that was about, but the clerk ringing the cash register was up and ready to check people out.

His response was that they had some still in boxes. We waited for him to say more, instead he just looked at us in a very dismissive way. We asked him, "well, are you going to open one?" He flatly stated "No". We were surprised at his attitude. I can't quote exactly what he said afterward. It was something like he did not want to...it was too much trouble...something to that effect. Clearly, he was not the owner of the store given his dismissive attitude. My response was that we would just go somewhere else. We found exactly what we wanted at CVS.
