Most incompetent pharmacist and staff I've ever dealt with. Refills are never processed on time. They are full of excuses! The wait in lines In store and drive thru are horrendous. I'd say this place is about to go out of business. Several of the aisles have signs above them to tell you what class of items are there, except several of them aren't maintained. So you can waste a lot of time looking for something and then find out it's out of stock once you get there. Not as bad as Rite Aid these days but clearly trending in that direction. read more

I CANNOT STAND this pharmacy. They take almost 15 minutes to attend to EACH person, that's not accounting for the 5-10 minutes it takes to get the medication for the person. It's like no one works at the pharmacy, having everyone wait for who knows how long AND THERES NOT MANY PEOPLE WAITING. I switched out of this pharmacy a while ago because of the RIDICULOUS wait. Had to come back for my mom but I am already looking in to switching her pharmacy because I cannot waste 30 minutes to get medication when I'm the ONLY person in line. Completely lacking in customer service. I asked for help, and was told the reason chargers are locked up is so that no one steals them not so that we can provide assistance. When Walgreens came to Grand Terrace they had very good customer service. This is no longer the case. The clerk would not help at all, and it resulted in me having to come back three times to get the correct product. Please train the employees in customer service. I hope the store returns to the good customer service it used to have. read more

Came here for a COVID test at 2pm, waited until 2:30 only to be told the system was down and for me to come back in an hour. I came in @630pm for a 3rd trimester TDAP shot, mind you they close @7pm, and was told to return tomorrow because there wasn't enough time or employees (there was 2) to fill out paperwork and give it to me. I was upset and told the Hispanic lady with glasses and a tongue piercing that I was told to return today, nothing was mentioned about a cut off time or about paperwork. I asked my friend who works pharmacy @ Walgreens in Ontario if the situation was valid. She said its 1 paper with about 10 questions. So I left and came across the street to the CVS and did the paperwork in under 5 min and recieved my shot. The worker and pharmacist she was taking orders from, are unprofessional and lazy. Definitely switching my prenatal refills to CVS, this Walgreens is ridiculous it's always an issue coming here! read more

If I could give this Walgreens 0 stars I WOULD. I'm so angry at the negligence this pharmacy has. I got my 7 week old baby's prescription sent here. I came to the pharmacy to pick up his medicine where the young lady at the drive thru window greeted me and I gave them my baby's dob. She informed me I needed to sign a receipt since he is a MINOR. Comes back with my medicine does not ask me if I need to speak to a pharmacist for any questions. Doesn't give me any special instructions for medication. I gave my baby his second dose and he projectile vomited his medicine instantly. I research the medicine after calling Loma Linda Emergency Room where he was seen. To find out the medicine needed to be REFRIGERATED. I called the pharmacy IMMEDIATELY because I wasn't told any of this information. For the pharmacist manager to tell me that the girl was "new" and it was her first day. She was not new. She had no one training her or even NEAR HER to make sure that she was doing everything correctly. She did everything fast on the computer with no hesitation. Because of their negligence my baby could've gotten worse and could've ended up in the hospital AGAIN. The pharmacist called Loma Linda Hospital and asked them to fill the medicine again for him and had it ready in 30 minutes because she knew what they did was WRONG. That girl was not new and she knew she messed up BIG time. Before anyone says the bottle should have the refrigerate label it does not.. Pretty sure they covered that part up with the label. read more

This pharmacy needs to be re-evaluated and more training need to be put in place. The staff purposely ignores phone calls from people who contact them regularly and I have countless amount of proof of this. Walgreens off Barton road in Grand Terrace does not communicate effectively. They never have the medication ready when they say it is. I understand business and retail can get complicated but the least you can do is communicate properly. I will not be saying anymore because I believe an investigation needs to be put on this location. read more

The pharmacy has continued to be slow to service. I went in today with an appointment to have a vaccine. All staff showed up 15 minutes after the posted lunch time ended. I realized all workers are entitled to a 30 min. lunch but can you post a sign that reflects the time for start and ending lunch that is accurate or staff correctly so operations are not affected. I observed one customer who was turned away because his med was on back order and he was not told, the person in front of me was turned away for their vaccine. When I offered to pay cash for my vaccine I was told I'd have to wait when I had already been waiting. Overall it felt like the pharmacist did want to inject. They seemed to be ready to turn away business than do the injection. I'll take my business elsewhere since the service I received today let me know walgreens did care about earning my business. Do better there are too many options for pharmacy services for walgreens not to care. read more

I use this pharmacy for my mom's refills but I use the Walgreens in Riverside on Trautwein for my prescription refills and they are a waaaayyyy better pharmacy. Hire more staff or train staff to help customers better! read more

At the pharmacy there is always a long line. There is a total lack of communication when it comes to getting your prescriptions here and I definitely don't recommend signing up for this particular walgreens. They will not call you if there is a problem with your prescription you can go weeks without a true understanding of what is going on. It took me 3 weeks for them to realize that they weren't going to get in my prescription. No communication or attempt to communication was made with me I had to actually walk in and request to see what was going on. Sometimes they can't even find me when they look me up and they'll claim that they don't have me as a client. Don't quite understand what has been going on here in the last few months. I also don't understand why they are doing covid testing and covid vaccine if they don't have the staff to even fill the normal prescriptions. They're obviously getting getting paid to provide those covid services which I would agree with if they had the staffed adequately address those needs. Walgreens obviously needs to pay their pharmacist more or recruit more people . I'm not sure which it is but they are vastly understaffed. You need to make some serious changes. I am currently staying in the Drive-Thru and I've been here for the last 10 minutes and not one car has moved this is the norm for this location. read more

Staff engaging and helpful. Store is very organized and clean. Greeted each time I enter store. The pharmacy staff are very professional and very efficient. The prices for medications are very reasonable and I love their drive thru window, especially now with the Covid pandemic. Great store! read more

When prescriptions are called I. By a physician and the Insurance Company has issues with the way the prescription is written, instead of calling the patients they wait for the patient to call In to explain! Like, what every happened to the pharmacy putting in the call to the physician or even a phone call to the patient to help move the process along. Not this store!! Time has passed I went to the app and refilled needles for my son (12 YO) I requested to fill to be picked up next day, mind you he still has fills in this RX, but 3 days later it shows "in Process" but nothing so I called and "now" they are processing it. What is the point of the refill APP if I still have to call and sit on hold because I always have 3 or more callers ahead of me ‍. I would go to mail order but they are more expensive for one of my sons medications makes no sense. I get te retail pharmacy are busy and over whelmed but once again "what's the point if the APP if I still have to call or drop bye to get the " fill" done! EXTREMELY LAZY PHARMACY!!! I had my Rx dropped off (1st Time here at this location). I'm a veteran and use the insurance United Healthcare which uses Express Scripts to fill prescriptions. Express Scripts does NOT have a Rx card and never has. The pharmacy calls to obtain verification. THIS LAZY PHARMACY refused to do that!! It was a 30 second phone call that would've saved me time and money. Instead my husband returns without my Rx because the refused to process the transaction even though he had all my information to have it filled and processed. They've called every single time in 13 years that either myself or my family required an Rx! This is the ONLY pharmacy that refused to do their JOB!! I had to call from home and waste time and gas returning to Walgreen with the same information they could've obtained in 30 seconds! Since they already had the Rx filled but refused to process the transaction is the only reason why I returned so I wouldn't have to wait for another pharmacy. I can't stand lazy employees that KNOW this is part of their job they just didn't want to pick up a phone like every single pharmacy has done before them. Then when the pharmacist (some Bill Nye looking guy) realized I was right he walked off and handed my Rx to the lady checking out people. She helped at least 5 MORE people even though I was first in line until another female employee walked up and she handed my Rx to her (pretty lady with long straight dark hair) and she finalized my transaction. This place is LAZY and INEPT at doing their jobs properly especially when I'm stuck with a infection that's getting worse and I'm feverish because of their laziness and can't obtain my antibiotics. I've sent an email to both UHC and Express Scripts to let them know they are refusing to call to verify eligibility. Maybe they should switch back to CVS since Walgreen has lowered their standards! read more

***THIS PHARMACY IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.*** I went to fill a prescription for my sick 7 year old and was told he had 2 different insurances. Called my insurance company, no problem on their end. Then I was told that THE PHARMACY didn't have the correct information on their part. Some kid answered the phone and told me he didn't know what to tell me. Another pharmacy tech told me that because I live in Orange County, I couldn't fill a prescription in a different county (which is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard seeing as that is absolutely untrue)ONE kind tech finally called me back and got everything straightened out and apologized for the confusion and miscommunication and told me my sons prescription is ready for pick up. When I got there I asked to speak to a supervisor so this wouldn't happen to someone else as I hear the woman in line next to me having the exact same issue and the pharmacy tech being rude to her as well. When the supervisor came over he was extremely rude and tried to project blame onto myself even when I had provided all necessary information. It took all day to finally get my sick child's antibiotics. Never using this place again!!! read more

Hate that I'm giving them a 4 star review but the pharmacy takes sooooo long. I've always had my prescription sent here for years but within the last 3 months I find myself in the drive thru for 10-15+ minutes. It's not convenient anymore sometimes I have to ration my meds because of the wait since I have such a tight busy schedule I do not have the time to waste here in the drive thru. Pharmacy is the worst here!! Long wait for them to get to the front to get the drop off information. As I was giving the pharmacist my prescription she went about asking where I had gotten the prescription knowing it said the hospital name on the left hand corner. Then she went on back and left me out in the front a long time to tell me that she could not fill my prescription because the doctor did not date the prescription. I asked if she could call them to get it fixed and she said NO! That I needed to go back to the ER to get it fixed. I got my things and left went down to Walmart down the street where they called the hospital and got everything fixed in a matter of minutes. I will never use Walgreens again. Place is clean and organized. Most staff are friendly and helpful. I come here to do my couponing and usually don't have no problems until a staff leader came on board in this store. On Sunday I come and do my usual couponing, usually I get the same staff leader that helps me but apparently she was off that day. Here's my problem i occurred with a specific staff leader; 1. I use the Walgreens app to do my "clip coupon" and apparently some of the items wasn't scanning correctly. That isn't my fault as a worker there you should find a way to solve the problem. 2. Prices on some items are different than the weekly ad, you should meet the weekly ad price instead of the price you have in store. So instead of solving my problem and helping me, she was just getting frustrated by sighing and rolling her eyes. I had only 4 items and it took about 45 min because of the difficulties. Usually they can comp whatever is wrong on the computer & problem solved. So my issue is, if you're impatient with a couponer and there are issues why not make it easier on yourself and solve it instead of having a line? Never will I come again when that specific shift leader is working!! read more
