I no longer go to this location. I used to work in the area for a few years before and after the pandemic. They used to have a nice amount of staff around 2021 and 2022. Once I discovered self-checkout, it was much faster, and I could get in and out quickly, which is one of the things I look for when I need something fast on my lunch break. Anyway, the last time I was there I went in for some otc pain relief (Tylenol) spring of 2024. EVERYTHING was locked up. I understand the level of thievery has gone up, but that's why you hire security if it's gotten that bad. So I rang the bell to get help. I waited. I rang three more times and got increasingly annoyed because I was not getting help. This was around 1 pm the store was not crowded at all. I walk up to the front and said, 'Hi I need help to get some tylenol." A staff member was busy with (of all things) the ice cream counter, SLOWLY serving customers and having a casual conversation. I told him to send another staff member so I could get what I needed and leave. He told me to hold on and someone would be there shortly. I return to the pain relief aisle and wait. 5 more minutes pass, with no assistance. I walked out and have never returned. I don't know what happened to this place, it used to be convenient. Now it's a shit show. I doubt that it's been fixed over the past year. I may go in one of these days to see if it's still screwed up. What joke. read more

I am so sad about writing this. Rite Aid has been our family pharmacy for 30 years. Sean took such good care of my aging mother and has given me such great advice over the years. The people working the pharmacy are still fantastic, but they can't solve poor management. As other reviewers have noted, it is hard to reach them by phone. They also have SMS subscriptions for communications, but they work intermittently. Today I had a prescription that I needed right away. I knew the time it was called in and waited for the text message to know it was received. Never got it. Finally decided to be brave and call. Of course, got IVR and voice mail. Touched 0 for the main message and 1 for the pharmacy 40 times over 35 minutes, no one ever answered. Finally drove in and stood through the line. Kept the phone call and was still touching 0 and 1. I noticed no ringing. THEY HAD THE PHONE OFF and were not answering it. Staff told me they were too busy to take phone calls. So the two ways I had to find out if they received the prescription and had filled it were not available to me. At least they could have had a message that the pharmacy was not available by phone right now and I could have gone in earlier. I have slowly moved my business away from this place because of the difficulty reaching by phone and the super slow drive-through...and I fear this experience is just another nail in the coffin. I have some regret as the workers there really do care about their customers. Sadly, their management doesn't. read more

If I could give 0 star, I would. Prudence was so incredibly rude to us and all the families before us tonight at the loma Linda location. Her attitude was so nasty, slamming ice cream cups left and right, rushing people with a bad attitude, rolling her eyes after every ask. Not too sure who upset her but unfortunately we won't be coming back here again. Every other employee has been great but she was completely awful. I've usually been coming to this location to pick up prescriptions but lately their customer service has been nothing but awful. Their lack of communication and sense of urgency is not of any importance when it comes to their customers. Management needs to tackle this issue. No matter how many times I call they never answer their phone. There's always a long line of people. It takes them 10 min to take care of one person. Everybody keeps looking back to see how long the line is getting because we're all annoyed. I can hear the phone ringing repeatedly as I am currently waiting in line. This is a disaster. For those of you who were thinking about getting prescriptions here, go somewhere else in the meantime. This is not the place to go to right now until they handle this problem. This place never answers the phone, they also never have the prescriptions ready when they say they are supposed to. Also what I don't get is they have a recording line so why did I have to call 15 times in order to even get to the recording. I get a prescription every 3 months. It's a 90 day prescription, they always say call a week before so we can order it. First of all if I get it every 90 days why can't you just make sure you have it in stock? Then I call and they say okay will get it ordered. A week later I go in an nope they still didn't order it and can only give me 30 days worth and I have to come back. I got to this location because my grandmother who passed away would always go there with me for thrifty ice cream and it's just my little thing I do for a memory but it seems I may have to re locate my store because they can't seem to get even their phone together. Every time I go in here I've never had a problem but lately this gentleman on the bigger side who is an employee there I've watched him follow the customers around from the moment they step in the store. He doesn't greet them and he has absolutely no reason or right to follow customers up and down the aisle while looking as if there less than him and are stealing and today he walked out from the front desk just to stand in the line to watch me check out with an ugly expression on his face the entire time as if I was going to steal when I am a regular customer and am always polite to him. People should be able to shop and check out without being harassed and given dirty looks by the employee. read more

Due to my local Rite Aid closing, my family and I recently switched over to this one. Because we've appreciated the service and welcomeness Rite Aid offers, we decided to stick with Rite Aid Pharmacies. So it saddens me to write such a poor review and now have to switch pharmacies again. The lack of attention and communication is inexcusable. Also the failure to refill prescription in a timely manner is unacceptable. For me specifically, I give the courtesy to call ahead to make sure my prescriptions are filled in time as they are vital to my health. Calling ahead saves me time and usually any issues but they fail to answer their phone and don't prioritize the needs of their customers. As a pharmacy, you are held to a higher standard as you are a piece of the puzzle to getting people the medication they need for their HEALTH. Yet it's NOT a refill... we have a NEW script for antibiotics. My Mom was flustered with the repeated cycle and we needed to get this ASAP and somehow verify this script is ready or otherwise, since we were unsure if they were open because: We tried picking up this URGENTLY required medication for an infection, Last Night: Wednesday Dec. 29th, early evening after 6pm before 7pm (hours should be until 9pm!) Last night, yet not even 7pm and Pharmacy was already ...closed!?! We asked 'why', and told they were short staffed. Humbug! Then we went to another related Rite Aid pharmacy several miles away... Their pharmacist said our primary/closed Rite Aid pharmacy had already "opened/began working" on script + Rx Script for antibiotics was 'unavailable in the system'! Ok wait: Short staffed, went to other Rite Aid due to urgency and script not available in rite aid system because Original 'Barton Road Pharmacy was 'short staffed', yet they prevented the possibility of another Rite Aid pharmacy to fill... What is their management's dysfunction? After my Mom/patient was flustered after 7 minutes of looping phone prompts, she hoped to speak to Pharmacist/Staff, yet just when we 'Pressed 3' (to speak to pharmacy staff, then selected zero other option, then instructed "Enter refill numbers" (not a refill!), we waited for a staff person to pick-up, system LOOPED again and again for over 17 minutes! What is their management's dysfunction?!? This same 'Looping (broken) phone system' was reported to 'pharmacist in charge' and he told me approximately end of October/early November they'd get someone to troubleshoot it. now late December and after over 17 minutes wasted in your dysfunctional phone system, zero progress and WHY would your pharmacy 'open a new script' for antibiotics when you are short staffed, preventing other Rite Aid pharmacy(s) from filling this urgent medication... then no one bothers to pickup our repeated calls for this medication and instead your phone system loops urging for the 'refill number'. Management: How many lost/frustrated customers will it take before you cause your systems to function as expected...properly? Does your lead pharmacist care about your client experience as much as you/management might? My family considered switching all our business from CVS to you/Rite Aid pharmacy at Barton rd, definitely will not happen until substantial changes are made including please fix your phone system! My home is less than a mile away! Yet with this customer experience, id rather travel a few miles to CVS pharmacy for a better customer experience, then have to deal w/'short staffed pharmacy' + a broken phone system (that was reported several weeks ago with ZER0 changes! Who has a dysfunction? what will it take for you + staff to prioritize: CUSTOMER experience!?! Management/Pam: do you care about customers? Waited 4 hours+ for meds from the pharmacy. We called them after 4 hours and let them know we're still waiting for our pills and they stated, "Give us 15 minutes and it will be ready". Meaning, they didn't work on it all this time! It was only 7 pills by the way.... We arrive to pick up the prescription and the pharmacist doesn't explain how to take the meds. Instead, he tells us to wait when there wasn't a single customer.... extremely slow... after the frustration of continuously waiting, we had enough and storm off and then he says "I'm free now". Came in to pick up prescription next day and was treated extremely rude by a Mr. Shawn win. Was very rude and kept cutting me off mid conversation. Was told he was the main pharmacist in charge. This is for the pharmacy. I showed up several hours after my prescription was supposed to be ready. One of the pharmacists told me they were running behind they would call me when it was ready. She told me one med would be $27 and the other $94. I decided to check the GOODRX app and it shows a discount for both. I show the pharmacist and she says she's going to have to redo the paperwork and check with their insurance. I said, "Please could you do this." She's totally pissed off then. The other pharmacist tells her to do it. It took her 3 minutes and saved me $50! Not going back! I will stick with the awesome people at Sav-on in Albertsons! read more

I love coming here to get some rainbow sherbet on a hot day when I don't feel like driving to Yogurtland in Redlands. The price has really gone up though. I remember when it used to be 99 cents for one scoop!! The items here are usually overpriced. You can find the same item at Wal Mart or Target for cheaper. Even the pharmacy here charges more than the one at Wal Mart. The nice thing about this place is that it's located in the middle of Loma Linda so it's really convenient for people living here. read more

REALLY NICE STORE -- helpful folks, very easy to find what we needed after not being in a rite-aid for 25 years (they are not in our state). We appreciated the prompt and courteous help from the pharmacist when we had questions about what Over the counter meds we could take with the NY-Quil we were buying. After my dr sent over a prescription hours later and not being able to get any via telephone, I showed up at this rite aide and they said well we have no internet and no phone. Management said it's been out since yesterday and don't know when it's coming back on. Honestly he seemed happy and pharmacy staff was not helpful even though I had proof it said they received it. I will never again trust in this pharmacy and I would advise you if your meds are important to go anywhere else. Never ever had this problem with Walgreens. Lesson learned read more

My experience is in regards to the photo printing only: I ordered 4x8 photo cards to be printed and they handed me 8x10 sheets with my 4x8 card printed on it-Meaning that I have to cut out my cards from the 8x10 sheet. 1) It's inconvenient.
