The pharmacy went above and beyond to help me with a medication I was having difficulty with my insurance. The pharmacist (Angela) was able to take care of the problem within minutes when a different Walgreens hadn't been able to resolve the issue for unknown reasons for nearly a month. Both the pharmacist and the tech took the time and effort to actually help me and was kind. I appreciate all of their efforts to help me! Wow, I didn't think Walgreen's (HWY 6 and Forest Trails) could get much worse but man was I wrong. I made an appointment online for a second covid booster for 3pm today. It was confirmed and I did all the pre-registration paperwork online. Got there a little early. Was told I still had to do some paperwork and she will print it out, in the meantime 'go sit down'. Twenty minutes later still no paperwork, while walk-ins showed up and got paperwork immediately. Finally got it, turned in the same time as walk-ins. Of course, one walk-in couple, with no appointment and came in 15 minutes after I did, got called in for their booster before me. Finally got the shot at 3:45. The tech giving me the shot apologized and said that shouldn't have happened, that they weren't even supposed to take walk-ins. She said no one knew I was waiting, although I was sitting close to the counter in plain sight and inquiring about the delay multiple times. I know times are rough everywhere, but I'm appalled at how they treat customers, especially ones like me that have been good customers for over 30 years at this location. No more. I'm having everything transferred to CVS. They CAN'T possibly be any worse. Wish I could give Walgreen's zero stars as they don't deserve even one. read more

Just waited with my daughter for 30 min. after my scheduled appointment for the pediatric Pfizer vaccine... that wasn't bad, however, there were dead bugs in the waiting room and in the patient room. The air vents had mold growing around them. But I got to the pharmacy to pick them up (after receiving a text saying they were ready for immediate pick up), and had to wait for an hour in the drivethru to "talk to a pharmacist" literally never talked to a pharmacist. I am sitting here in the drive through writing this. This pharmacy is bafflingly, chronically slow. Even at 11PM. The average time is about 10 minutes per customer. The average number of customers is usually 4. Prior to this experience, I waited 30 mins in the drive thru, then went inside to wait an additional 25 minutes. Mind you, I was holding a screaming baby. That was a stressful, awful hour of my time. It would be different if this was McDonald's and you could simply just drive off, but these people dispense essential medication that you can't just skip or get another time. So, one has no choice but to wait up to an hour. Just awful. read more

Never have had a problem with this pharmacy. They've always gotten my medications right and on time and have always been quite helpful. Also this being a 24 hour location makes it quite helpful when I might have a cold and need to get medicine. Especially since covid, not many places are open during normal business hours but this location has been and I have always been able to count on them for any of my needs. They gave us the wrong prescription for my 6 year old son and when we called to let them know that what they gave him could cause a bad allergic reaction, the guy who answered the phone (sounding drunk) said if we wanted a refund we would have to come back but they didn't have the replacement medicine in stock so it would be a few days. When I explained that my husband sat there for 45 minutes waiting for the medicine that my sick child needed without them telling him they didn't have it, his response was "we're busy". I ran in to purchase two items quickly at 10pm. I waited at the counter for several mins and no one was around. I noticed a man that worked there outside on his phone when I pulled up but figured there would be more inside, doing their job. I walked around, looking for someone for check out and the stock guy helped me. Idk if he was suppose to check out but he did and when I went back out to my car, the guy, WHO WAS THE MANAGER, was still on his phone. I said "There's no check out person, are you off now?" (thinking he was the check out guy, due to his attire) He briefly looked up and said "I'm the manager" then looked back down at his phone. I said there are people in line so you should probably go in and help. He proceeded to tell me I'm parked wrong and kept on with his phone!! A manager!? Lol no. It literally took more than 30 minutes from the time I got in line. 30 minutes. To put pills in bottles. Plus I called to confirm ahead of time whether the pills were ready and they said yes, and when I got there they said it wasn't ready! Apparently that's a favorite trick of these loons. Personally, I've had great experiences at this Walgreens- the pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, the store is always immaculate and well stocked, and the employees have always been polite&helpful! Recently, I was about to take the last active pill in my pack of birth control, when I accidentally dropped it down the sink! I called the pharmacy at 5pm thinking that it was open 24 hours a day- but it was actually some holiday, so the pharmacy was only open until 6pm! Using the automatic system over the phone, I ordered a refill and hurried over. Once I got there, the pharmacist was having difficulty locating my prescription- and I realized that I had accidentally called the wrong Walgreens!!! By this time, there was no way I would have been able to make it to the other Walgreens by 6pm! The pharmacist (I want to say his name was Doug) was so polite and helpful! This location's pharmacy is definitely OPEN 24 HOURS a day! However, I can't remember if due to the holiday they were also closing early or not. If so, the pharmacy was about to close, but the pharmacist still took the time to cancel the order at the other location and said that he could fill my prescription right away. Whilst I was waiting for him to fill the prescription, I thought I'd look around the store. Next to one of my favorite beauty products, I noticed a "sale" sign. Usually, the sales at Walgreens are contingent on having a Walgreens card; however, this sale required a coupon. As a 22 year old, I'm a tad embarrassed to say that I'm not that familiar with clipping coupons- so I asked an employee in the beauty isle, Donna, if these coupons were available online or if I would need a physical coupon. She was incredibly friendly&helpful and let me know that Walgreens actually has monthly coupon booklets, which I could request at the front of the store. After getting the booklet from the front cashier, I realized that there were quite a few good deals! It's usually more economical for me to purchase certain beauty products from Amazon; however, with this coupon booklet, these items were actually cheaper at Walgreens! By the time I picked up a few sale items, my name was already being called over the speaker. It had only taken the pharmacist 10 minutes to fill my prescription!!! I showed the pharmacist (again, really want to say his name was Doug) that in addition to my medication, I wanted to purchase a few items that were on sale with the coupon booklet. However, we both had difficulty finding the correct coupon for one of the products. The yellow sticker next to the product clearly stated it was $4 off with coupon- which was substantial, since this was almost 60% off the original price; however, the only coupon we could find was for "buy one, get one 50% off." The pharmacist was super patient and even waited for me to go take a picture of the sticker to confirm the sale! Ultimately, we couldn't find the coupon in the booklet- but the pharmacist and his manager still honored the sale price, sans coupon. The pharmacist made a process, which could've been tedious and frustrating, incredibly simple and amiable. I have encountered a couple of long lines in the drive through pharmacy, particularly around 6 o'clock/ when most people are driving home from work. However, the lines have never been ridiculous. Also, I notice that most people don't use the outer lane- which operates through a pneumatic tube system and a speaker phone. Perhaps, people don't realize that this lane is also open or don't know how it works- in regards to the latter, Walgreens has actually posted simple instructions on the tube. And in my experience, the pharmacists at this location always attend promptly to both sides & service actually goes faster for everyone when customers utilize both lanes. I have had one negative experience at this location. I was purchasing Plan B (the emergency contraceptive) and condoms very late at night. The employee working the register, who was an older man, not only used a tone and a facial expression, which I interpreted as judgmental- but also said "you know you could save a lot of money by using these in the first place" and motioned towards the condoms. At first, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt- I do look young for my age. And perhaps he had daughters that I reminded him of or thought he was genuinely giving me good advice. I didn't want to get him in trouble, but ultimately, I decided to call the manager the next morning. She was extremely apologetic&understanding. She assured me that it wasn't the cashiers place to comment or pass judgement on my purchases- and that she would make sure it wouldn't happen again. Which, at least in my experience, it has not. Overall, this one negative experience doesn't negate the fantastic service I've received at this Walgreens. The professionalism and helpfulness the other employees have demonstrated far outweighs one employees inappropriate comment. Definitely a 5 star store!!! read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever used! They have horrible customer service! Ive tried to fill three prescriptions recently and every tike they told me the brand they carried wasnt covered vy my insurance. They told me I would have to pay out of pocket. The first time I did, second time we left without meds, third time (today) I called our insurance. Come to find out they had a childerns three digit code under the profile which was enabling the insurance to process. They were going to just have me leave with out antibiotics for my daughter; who has pneumonia. They didnt even attempt to call the company I have my prescription coverage through. I was waiting a total of 1.5 hours for antibiotics. Absolutely ridiculous. The lady was also being rude to me. On top of that another associate was explaining a medication to another customer and when she didn't understand said "ok well apparently you arent listening". Who says that to their customers?! She always asks how I'm doing and if she can help with anything, and if I ever have a question for her she always knows what I'm looking for- she's even gone in the stockroom to find an item for me before! I always go to her register too- she can get you in and out of the store fast if you are in a rush. She's very knowledgable and always looks to save you money as well. read more

I stop in because my doctor said he would call in my prescription before my surgery the next day. When I get to Walgreens I am waiting in the drive through. I waited 20 minutes there and decided to go in the store. I get in there and wait a while longer. When I am helped I am told there is nothing under my name. So I call my doctor and they said they called already but would call again. The employee at walgreens pharmacy tells me I could come back in 30 minutes. I had some other stuff to do so I make it back an hour later. Wait in line to be helped once again. I get up to the counter and tell them my doctor called in my prescription. Nothing on file. I call my doctor again and they said they have no idea what's going on, then the walgreens employee says she will have someone check the voicemail. I wait 5 minutes with the office on the phone with me waiting to see if they need to call again or just try another pharmacy that is capable of doing their job. Suddenly walgreens says my doctor did leave a voicemail (when he originally called 2.5 hours and again 1 hour ago) and my prescription will be ready in 20 to 25 minutes. I have used them a couple times but twice they have been terrible today I tried calling them over 40 min for someone to answer I couldn't hold anymore so Hopi g I can just stop tomorrow only reason I go is this is the closes 24 hour one. I couldn't even get to talk to the general manager every time phone would "cut off" maybe is just the night pharmacist but hope they go. That problem. The service here was terrible - my prescription was faxed about 730 - which should have taken about 30 minutes to fill - when we drive from cypress to this location - which isn't a short distance - we actually called before to ensure it was prepared on time - we pulled up - the fax was received but no one had reviewed it and filled it - they told us it would be ready in another 30 minutes - it's now 820 - we walk in the store to buy some items - it's almost 9 o'clock - they tell me - oh we don't have that prescription - someone just told me in the drive through that it would be 30 minutes - they said that it would be additional 30 minutes - I told my wife let's go - we decided not to shop there and may not even go back to pick up the Medicine - terrible service - set proper expectations and just do your job - if you don't want to work there - there's several people who are eager to take your position but there's people like the ones who work at this location that wasting a company's money and resources read more
