The pharmacy techs at Walgreens on Wirt are terrible. I go up to the register area to ask a question, both the Latina and the Black techs look me dead in my face and carry on their conversation about tshirts on Amazon instead of a simple "may I help you?" from either one of them. It wasn't until I asserted myself after the second glance in my direction and asked "if it's not such a bother" to ask a pharmacy tech question about a product. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Rude rude workers there... especially MJ who happens to be the manager apparently. I tried to be the bigger person in the situation and he refused my service. Was very disrespectful to my mother so was the pharmacist as well repeatedly told my mother "I don't speak Spanish, I don't speak Spanish." When my mother was speaking English to them. If you're looking for a FedEx at Walgreens delivery location, I'd recommend to avoid the Walgreens on Wirt Rd. I've tried on 4 occasions to have FedEx packages delivered to them for me to pickup. Only one package was successfully delivered - the other three FedEx deliveries were refused by the store. Each time I inquired with them, they told me that they don't refuse packages and that I needed to address the issue with FedEx. FedEx said that they refused to accept the packages. I have no idea if that meant there were no employees available to accept the packages or what. But I gave up and am now trying other FedEx at Walgreens locations. read more

Since my bad review below, Walgreen's has reached out to me to apologize and promise improvements. My refills have been filled in a timely and polite manner. The app worked in this instance. (If the next month proves positive, I'll make a better review.) [Previous Review] This is the WORST Walgreen's. Go somewhere else if you can. I have been trying to get through to someone for 5 days. 2 calls a day. I would either be disconnected or would give up after 17 minutes. They have cancelled my refills a number of times, which requires a phone call or coming in person. Once I talk to them and they throw around blame they resubmit the refill. It takes about 9 days to get a refill when using this pharmacy. I can't stress how difficult it is to work with them. read more

Not to be confused with Smallgreens, which is, you know, a much smaller pharmacy. This is a conveniently located Walgreens at Wirt and Westview, and continues my theory that there's a major Pharmacy chain now at pretty much every important intersection in Houston - and a lot of unimportant ones lol - and probably in a lot of other cities too. It's just how they do things, and part of the capitalism which is killing our culture. Prices are crazy high as expected, and I'm not a fan of those, but at least it's here. read more

This is a nice Walgreens store. It has a large parking lot with several spaces. The store itself is similar to other Walgreens carrying the same items and has a pharmacy. Stars were removed from the rating only because there were no employees visible when I walked in. After waiting at the photo area for several minutes, there is no button to alert their staff a customer is waiting at the Photo Department. Other Walgreens I have been to have this feature and overhead alerts the staff. Had to hunt down an employee who was busy restocking and not at the front cash register. read more

I'm calling this pharmacy to see if my medication is in stock so I can have my Dr call in my refill. Because the other Walgreens on Katy freeway forgot to call to get my medicine restocked, after they spoke with me and told me they would order it. I ended up having to leave 4 days later without my medication. Now this one has hung up on me 3 times after being on hold for 5 minutes each time. I could hear them pick up and not even ask if I would hold. Then they pick up again and hang up. Look I know they are busy but that's just horrible customer service to hang up. Walgreens use to be a good pharmacy. I used them for years and very loyal, but their quality is going down hill. So now I sit on hold a 4th time while writing this ‍ (I had to pick a star) Edit: 5 times ....... I'll finish this review when I get through. This location needs massive help with their pharmacy . After 4 days of trying to get medication refilled I was told to o call Saturday morning and as I have done as instructed by your staff the store is closed and I am completely out of medication with ZERO CARE FOR MY HEALTH OR WELL BEING! The store is great, with very friendly and helpful employees. The pharmacy is the exact opposite. A few weeks ago, I was on hold for over one hour. I finally drove over there, still being on hold. There was only one person picking up a prescription. While on hold, they never said please keep holding. When I brought up how long I had been waiting, they did not apologize or seem to care. This also happened to me last week and again today, waiting on hold for over 35 minutes each time. I know they are busy, but they are simply rude and don't seem to care. I have been trying to get a prescription filled since Monday. They said twice that it would be ready the next day. It wasn't either time. I finally called my doctor's office. Hopefully the third time is a charm! I write lots of good reviews and don't recall ever writing a poor one before this. That's how bad the pharmacy service is. It costs nothing to be nice and polite. I use this Walgreens mainly for the pharmacy. What a bunch of RUDE, SLOW individuals. Several times, I've had to call my doctor's office just to make sure a prescription was sent because this pharmacy never bothered to fill it. The pharmacy is awful - the rest of the store is great. Expect 2 hours minimum to get a prescription filled. Waiting in line in the drive-thru regularly takes 30 minutes. The pharmacists seem to be OK, but the assistants are hit or miss. Several times I've just gotten fed up with the wait & just drove to Kroger next door. I've started using the Long Point Walgreens or Kroger next door - much better & faster over there. read more

Omg, I have been going to this Walgreens for years, and the people at the prescription counter are continuously mean, surly, and completely rude and unprofessional. I am so sick of going to this place and being treated and talked to like I am bothering them. And it's not just once , it's every time. I just left there and wanted to ask a question and the stupid fat ugly pharmacist's aide told me that I needed to pull around and go back through the line again because I was holding up her other customers in line. I said excuse me could I please ask just a question and I got back "yeah go ahead". I had my doctor on the other line listening to this and he asked me what kind of place was I at? He had never heard such behavior in his life. And frankly neither have I. I'm just going to have to change to another pharmacy because this one is getting ridiculous.
