I come to this Walgreens very seldomly because of the customer service issues I have experienced here. But, because of its proximity to my house and convenience of ordering a calendar there, I placed an order for pickup. It came in a few days ago, I got one email confirming it was ready for pickup, and I headed in today. The woman at the counter asked for my last name, and then didn't listen as I spelled it for her. She looked under the wrong name for ages, typed in my name (maybe incorrectly, after I confirmed it twice for her), and then simply said "We don't have your order" and stared at me. She didn't ask a question, just looked at me like I was stupid. So I pulled up the confirmation email and confirmed that I placed the order over 2 weeks ago and that it likely may have been there for a few days, then showed her my order number and said "It was definitely ordered to this location." She told me to calm down as though I had raised my voice when I hadn't. So my sister said to her, "Ma'am, she is giving you the info you need so you can find her order. She hasn't raised her voice." Her snark increased when I confirmed - for probably the third time - that it was a calendar placed for pickup and she realized it was probably shipped there, since they don't make most of their products in house anymore. She hadn't asked me the right questions to get to that conclusion in the first place, but she definitely wasn't listening when I calmly explained what I had ordered to help her. She brought my box out of the closet, asked me if I paid for it - which, in the past you pay when you pick up so I told her "Your system should say if I have a balance due but I did enter my cc info when I purchased it." She started handing it to me, but then pulled it back like she planned to keep it or something. I can't believe I just had a tug of war moment with a Walgreens employee over a gift for my mom that I paid for well in advance because she got confused over her own system. She didn't scan the barcode or mark anything picked up. She shooed us away from the counter when she knew we had to check the calendar for quality - I perched on a nearby precarious tower of alcohol - and I can tell you right now she had already been snippy with a group of girls who came in behind us about what they needed for passport photos because I heard their conversation. Having worked in retail, I understand the holiday struggle. But the attitude from a customer service rep when I was problem solving after being told my custom item wasn't there was insane. You don't just tell people their item isn't in the system and then give up. People around me noted her behavior, and it was unnecessary. I was trying to make it easier for her to find something and she ended up truly making this trip such a bad experience that I may stop going to Walgreens altogether. read more

If I could give the pharmacy 0 stars I would. The only thing this location is good for is a convenience store. Prescriptions are never ready in a reasonable amount of time. I've been asked to come back 24hrs later for critical medication. I've had to wait over an hour for scheduled vaccine appointments and the pharmacy staff is generally rude no matter what time of day or week. read more

Walgreens on 63rd and Troost gave my 90 days meds to someone then debating with me that I had to give my date of birth to someone in order for them to pick up the meds. read more

This pharmacy does two things in contrast. They do a very good job of working expediently and cooperatively to fill orders, but they are terrible at staffing appropriately. For the volume this store does they should have multiple more employees (the employees that are working are great). Picking up a prescription or getting help in the store seems to be at least an hour ordeal. Forget the drive thru, 3 cars in line means a 30 minute wait. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a flu shot online and arrived 15 minutes early. After waiting a half hour, I discovered the man next to me hadn't been dealt with yet and he was scheduled for 15 minutes prio to me. I started watching the workers behind the counter who were all complaining about how disorganized they were. I ended up leaving withou getting my shot, as I had lost all confidence in their ability to give me the correct shot. I will never return! read more

Ignore the other reviews, these guys work hard at what they do with the staffing that they have available. Always courteous and kind, while other patrons may find the wait frustrating. Liberty -- in and of itself -- is an overpopulated area with an infrastructure that wasn't designed for this kind of throughput. Men's room filthy with no soap nor towels. Staff sick and hacking their livings out. Don't bother this is lace is a mess.

This is THE worst pharmacy for prescriptions. Requested a refill, pharmacy said it was denied, called our provider who said we DID have a refill. Went to pharmacy, they couldn't see that we HAD a refill....so I pulled out my phone with the app which clearly stated we did. Tech went to talk to pharmacist and I was told they just "missed it". Slowest Walgreens in the metro. If you are sitting in the drive-thru even if there is only 1 car in front of you expect to wait 20 minutes. It's not much better if you go inside either to their pharmacy. It's always a big waiting game. I was a very loyal CVS person and never had any issues. The only reason I go here is because my insurance dictates that I have to use this pharmacy. As I write this review, I've sat in the drive-thru for 25 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me (it was 3 but 1 car left because it was sick of waiting). read more

I am switching all my prescriptions to this Walgreen's from Liberty CVS. While this store may not have 24 hour service, it is faster and has better customer service than the CVS I have used exclusively in the past. They have a drive thru so that's a plus. I also won't have to cross the dreaded 152 highway bridge over I-35 into Liberty. It's worth a try. read more

This pharmacy has really poor customer service skills. I have been in the drive up for 40 minutes. By the time I got up to the window (20 minutes ago) two employees saw me but no one bothered to acknowledge me even after I rang the bell. Dropped prescription off 2 hours ago and it's still not ready. Good thing it was not life or death situation. read more

The 2 stars is for the pharmacy alone. I started using them last year for my prescriptions, and have had spotty service so far. There have been at least 2 or 3 times where I have received a voicemail from them saying my prescription is ready for pick up, but when I go to pick it up they say they have nothing for me. Expect a 20-40 minute wait if there are more than 3 cars in the drive-thru. I waited in line 30 mins, only to have them tell me I need to come inside to talk to the pharmacist.
