Let's just get this out of the way: the pharmacy is awful and should be avoided. The employees aren't overly competent, and their supply is not consistent. Don't waste your time calling them. My last experience was when a different pharmacy was out of the required syringe size for my medicine so I hopped in to Walgreens to get one and got the super judgy looks. Honey, junkies don't want needles in the size that I'm asking for. Overall store is okay as long as you're looking for something really, really common. Lots and lots of empty shelves all over the store so don't get your hopes up. Some aisles are 100% empty and they all have gaps all over the place. I wouldn't come here unless it's directly on your way. On the plus side most things aren't behind glass so you can actually grab the stuff you need quickly without having to try to find an employee. The pharmacy wait time is loooong. I spent 1 hour to pick up medications. The cashier in pharmacy was slow and not welcoming. I told her that am picking up two medications, one for me one for my son. She said ok and that I need to wait 15 minutes. After I come to pickup she says they have only one for me. I reminded her that there is another for my baby. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes for second medication and another 15-20 in line because they were slooowly processing another family of three. They had many people there working but only one cashier when there is line of customers. They do not value people's time! read more

This is a decent location. Staff are nice and helpful. It's like an oversized quickie mart. Well lit inside not dimmed like other drugstores down the road. They have very few selections of frozen food and pantry items. Pharmacy staff is knowledgeable. read more

I've had great experiences with a very friendly pharmacist here, kind, helpful, competent. My experience today with the "manager" of the pharmacy was anything but. I expressed my concerns with transferring a medication where I've had issues before, and she said everything she needed to get me to go away. She assured me they would answer the phone for the other pharmacy and they haven't, I'm having to hound this location to do what she assured me would be routine. After jumping through hoops and showing back up at the pharmacy, complaining and speaking to the pharmacist directly I was made aware of an issue with trying to run prescriptions for a certain type of insurance. Which makes sense instead of the refusal of service I received initially. If this had been properly communicated when I was asking questions and trying to find a solution this whole debacle could have been avoided. This is a basic Walgreens. The place is kept clean. We've gotten Covid tests here, rented movies, bought medical supplies and last minute food. Staff have been nice to us. I like how they sponsor a lot of organizations' having car washes there. They are sometimes short of food supplies, but who isn't in 2022? The other comments about people around the store are partially true. There is a lot of foot traffic with the bus stops and other stores, and there have been homeless near by. However, I've never been bothered by or even approached by anyone. And I'm 6 ft 3in. guy, so your experiences may be different. I recommend going there. read more

Avoid going to this pharmacy at all costs. They stop carrying your medication without notice, they lie to you about what happened to your prescription, they cannot properly communicate with you in English, their systems cannot manage modern medicine, and they are horribly incompetent and should not be handling medication for humans nor animals. I was on an appointment list for the COVID booster and they called and told me they ran out....isn't the point of making an appointment holding a vaccine for you? Made an appointment at Safeway in another city and they had no problem holding the vaccine for me. Came back for a different vaccine they told me was in stock to show up to my appointment to find out they didn't have it and no longer stock it. I'm sorry what?! I have never In all my life have I been more upset. A dear friend with PTSD and who is currently dealing with domestic violence came in today to smokes and some drinks. She was humiliated by check out woman. She was in tears and ended up causing a scene. She had just been through hell and back just to go thru it in this store. The employees at this location need a very good education in etiquette and respect of others. I'm floored by this employee because I too have dealt with her ignorant disrespectful attitude towards patrons. I really hope this location considers a Chang i staff. I had been using this location for prescription drugs and shopping for a few years. It use to have good and friendly service. Not anymore. Encounters with employees have led me to take my business elsewhere. Horrible customer service. Between everything, my business was probably worth $1,500 a month to Walgreens, a majority of it to this location. Not anymore. No more Walgreens for me. read more

This Walgreens is not the best BUT I WANNA RECOGNIZE STEVE!! He's so sweet and nice and I can tell he is just so passionate about working there and he tries his 100% best on the job. Drove an hour to get a Covid test. Staff refused to allow my son to take his test at the same time. They said they would not give him the self administered test even if they had a time without clients. His appointment was an hour and a half later. Went in to use the restroom and was told it was out of service. Next client was told it was closed to the public. Sat at the pharmacy for an hour and watched them. Had to get help to remove a security tag for nail clippers costing less than $5. Other small items costing much more had no security tag. Customer service seems pretty confusing to them here. read more

I always use this Walgreens and have had no problems until recently. In the evening there is a checker that is out of control. She sits on a stool and my husband znd I stopped so he could get some bourbon. I was standing next to him not even touching the alcohol. She asked for his ID which is no problem,except she asked me for mine znd I was not even purchasing it. Im 65 not 15 looking for someone to buy my alcohol. No one else askes for a patron that is not buying alcohol for their ID . This women has no personality and really brings this stoe down The other ladies are more than kind. The situation must have changed since the last reviews in here. We just moved to this location a couple months ago because we relocated nearby. It was getting too complicated continuing to use our previous Walgreens. It was sad doing so because we have to use a pharmacy a lot due to several medical problems. So far we have found the Pharmacists very friendly and helpful. A couple situations have come up, not due to anything they did. They didn't even know us well yet and we were very pleased with how they handled the problems. We very much appreciate the staff at this pharmacy and would easily recommend them to others. Don't even bother going to this pharmacy. I have never had a good experience here. Every pharmacist I've ever encountered in here has been the furthest from customer friendly. Not only that but they treat their technicians worse than their customers. Today was another perfect example. Instead of showing a new technician how to correctly use their paging system when she asked, the lady gave her a dirty look and paged for her. If you don't like the general public, you should re-evaluate the industry you chose to go to school for. Aside from that, they almost always never have my prescriptions in stock. Until recently, this pharmacy was open 24/7 - and that was its only redeeming feature, but now that its hours are 9-9 M-F and 10-6 on the weekends, I have no reason to ever get any prescriptions filled there. Often they would say that they could fill a prescription, only to find out at pick-up that they only partially filled it. And sometimes they wouldn't even bother telling me that it was a partial order; l wouldn't find out until I got home and opened the prescription and found only, say, a one day supply instead of a 30 day supply. I thought that the automatic refill option might help. Wrong. They still couldn't seem to get the quantities right, even on prescriptions I got every 30 days, prescriptions they knew about a month in advance. Given their incompetence, I suppose I'm lucky they never messed up the medication or dosage on my orders ... but I'm not going to press my luck anymore. read more

The pharmacists at this chain are hit and miss with regard to their training and attention to customer service. I am sure there are ethical and competent ones, but I have yet to encounter one. As a retired pharmacist myself, I am a fairly good judge of this. Have a close freind who was given a script for folic acid as she is taking a medication that depletes hers. Found out that 90 tablets of 1000 mcg was going to cost her about $35. I looked up what folic acid retails for and found the same strength tablet online but 250 tablets for $8. Pharmacist claimed that was impossible as the 1000 mcg was supposedly "prescription only" (an outright pants-on-fire falsehood) and that if she got a lower strength she would have to take "multiple pills" Yeah right. So, instead of spending about 3.2 cents a vitamin pill she has to spend about 39 cents a pill, more than a 1200% mark-up. Obviously, a rip off. read more
