Worst phone ettiquet I've ever experienced. Evening female manager was very rude, she seemed to be talking to my wife as if she knew her when this was our first time calling after shopping there for the first time earlier today. Will not return here with this kind of attitude. my wife was told not to call back here again. I suppose we won't need to speak to a pharmacist after all when all we were calling for was to ask a manager about the pharmacist at this location seeing as how they closed early. Well, so long for this store. They won't be in business much longer like this. I would like to know her name but when my wife asked she said "well who are you?" Really? I've been using this pharmacy since July of 2016 but lately service has been sub-par. Since December 2021 specifically, medications are delayed without communication even though refills are requested 5 days in advance. The personnel are generally not helpful over the phone or in person anymore. Don't use this pharmacy if you have a chronic condition that requires medication on time. read more

Don't drop off your FedEx packages for pickup! I dropped off 3 packages for FedEx pickup. They were very nice and sent me a receipt via e-mail. FedEx didn't receive 1 of the packages after 7 days. Wife called and they quickly said everything has been pickup days ago. My wife asked for double checked and the package was there. This is the 2nd time this had happened. I don't know how they manage the packages, but this is very bad. read more

I bought a few batteries - wow really expensive so on my way home stopped at Target and the same batteries were like half price. I returned the batteries to Walgreens and advised the clerk to tell the supervisor they better check their pricing because Target is way lower. The clerk said they had nothing to do with the pricing and I said just mention it to the supervisor, but she could care less. Walgreens you need to do a better job on TRANING YOUR MANAGERS!! SPECIALLY AMMIE. Yesterday, I bought online a CeraVe moisturizer in the La Mirada, Ca store. I made the purchase online. When I picked it up and got home I realized that it was used. I immediately called the store and asked if I can exchange it. Unfortunately, they had gave me the last one. They also stated that I can go to another location and exchange it. I went to your location in La Habra and I found it. To start off no one was at the registers. I was standing around waiting for someone to come. Finally AMMIE came and I told her. I just wanted an exchange. Straight off the bat she say No!! You need to go back to the store you bought it from. I tried to explain to her my situation. She was pretending at first that she could not find my information on the computer!! and I even asked her to use the bare code that was on the side of my bag. She said that is not going to help!! Out of a sudden she found my information in the computer mind you I had my email receipt as well. She was still not willing to exchange my cream. She pretend that the register was not letting her. I've exchanged items at that store from other stores and I have never had a problem. Since she was being very difficult. I asked for a manager! She said! I'm the manager! I'm was in shock with her attitude and unwillingness to help me. I ask for another person other than her. Another male employee came and he was even in shock that she would not return it. She put him in a hard place to back her up. You can totally see it in him!! She finally exchanged my cream because she had no other choice!! Apparently she doesn't know the store return policies and how to work the register. I doubt that very much! She was rude and unpleasant!! She should not be a manager!! After she finished with my exchange she just left me at the register and walked away!! That was so rude! I've never heard of such thing that Walgreens has such a strict return policy. I know it was just Ammie not wanted to help me. She has very poor customer service. I will never go to that store again! Avoid Veronica that works at the photo area. She is extremely rude and unprofessional to the customers and her work colleagues. My first encounter with her was about a month ago. We made eye contact when I went up to the photo area to pick up my online orders. She completely ignored me. No greetings, no "Hi, how may I help you?" Nothing. I waited for 5 minutes, then another younger associate came by and helped me. The younger associate couldn't find my orders so she went to Veronica to ask for help. To my surprise, Veronica straight out said no and refused to help the younger associate. In my head, I was like maybe she is having a bad day. I didn't think much of it. But then come today. I came in to pick up my photo orders and Veronica was there. I went up to the photo counter. She saw me and again, completely ignored me. I had to wait a few minutes until another associate came up to help me. I already paid for the photo before dropping by Walgreens to pick them up. But when the associate scanned my orders, the computer system says that I haven't paid. The associate then asked Veronica for help and Veronica said "No" even before the associate finished asking the question in a rude manner. Veronica finally went up to help me since the associate couldn't resolve the issue. I even shown Veronica my bank transactions and my PayPal account stating that I already paid for those photos but she demanded that I paid again. She told me to call my bank to contest those charges if they double charge me. The way she talks to the customers is so condescending and rude. By reading the rest of the reviews on here, it's seems like Veronica is that white middle aged racist lady that works at the photo area. I thought she was just having a bad day during my first encounter but it happened again. I don't want to think she treated me that way because I was Asian but it makes sense now after I read the negative reviews on here. read more

This store does not have the friendliest of staff but this was a new low. After a purchase I realized that that cashier shorted me $7.00 in change and explained to him he was supposed to give me back $7.02, he only gave me .02 cents back. He cashier of course denied this so the manager or whatever she was said..Well we are going to count the tray...So she kept the customers waiting and counted the tray...After 15mins the manager told the clerk..Were over $7.00..In which the clerk again said...I shorted you $7.00? I said yes...I've been telling you that.. in a huff and puff this guy refunded my change...With a angry face...Never once apologized for the error and embarrassing me in front of other customers. Next time I will go to Rite Aid...I'm sure they don't employ rude managers or even more rude clerks. read more

I've only been here once because of a deal they had going on with toddler prepared formula drinks. They had a BOGO free and I had a couple of coupons available for it, so it was a fantastic deal. Turns out they never carried the little boxed drinks in this store so they ordered them for me. They said they would call when they arrived but they never did, so 3 weeks later, I stopped by and asked about them. They had them on hold in the back for me the entire time. Their costumer service is awesome, and I am only taking away one star because of that long wait time. They are FANTASTIC about redeeming your coupons, try them out! :) read more

I had been coming to this Walgreens since I was a child. I had an awful experience with the pharmacy this week. I had to have a prescription medication transferred from another pharmacy in Oregon. Long story short it took 3 days for them to let me know that they could not refill the prescription. I had needed the medication on the 3rd day. I dealt with a very rude employee named Dior. When I pointed out that I took too long for them to simply know they could not refill. She pointed a finger at me- I should have called sooner if it was an important medication. That may be true but if they could not refill they could have let me know the next day- then I could find someone who could. I called Costco and they were not sure at first if they were able to refill it. They were able to sort it out and let me know in under 7 minutes!!! And I will have my prescription tomorrow. So sorry, Dior- 3 days- that is much too long. Don't blame the customer and please work on your customer service. Will never bring my service to this Walgreens again. read more

Damn, Gina! Be nice Gina! If I could give them zero stars due to horrible customer service then I would! I called to see if they had a specific medication in stock for my kitten. First off I called, talked to the pharmacist whom isn't all too nice herself. So, I talked to the pharmacist and told her my situation. I have never received that kind of medication and was a little confused on it and the pharmacist sounded like she did not want to help and wanted to get off of the phone she actually gave me two different prices when the medication I told her is only 1 prescription not 2. So I called back after speaking to a Wal-Mart pharmacist who helped me understand my prescription and the next person I talked to was Gina. I told Gina the story and how the pharmacist gave me two different prices and I wanted to clear it up and get the correct price. She said, "first of all you are not pronouncing it right, eh." I told her I am not a pharmacist so excuse my pronunciation, which was REALLY rude and to top it off I asked her to confirm which price it was and she said, "if you want the price then you have to be put on hold." I waited for 5 min. Then when she answered she answered the phone greeting the person on the phone. I told her it was still me waiting on the price and she said the pharmacist said she already gave you the price. Seriously Walgreens?! This is the type of customer service you guys accept? Oh no. Well thanks to your rude pharmacist tech I took my kittens prescription be be filled at WAL-MART. you guys just lost a customer because of the horrible service. A lot of places the employees don't go out of their way to look in the back for product and get irritated when you ask about shipment, but that wasn't the case here. Very VERY bad experience with the pharmacy tech "Dan" who was in serious violation of patient information (he turned the computer screen around so that every customer in the shop could see and all the while LOUDLY saying that he did not agree with DOCTOR'S prescription - remember - we are talking about a pharmacy TECH - 6 months of training at best.
