We ended up getting my engagement ring resized (two babies later the ring didn't fit lol), fixed a diamond that fell out of my halo, and got a new solitaire ring (both the diamond and setting from pro gems)! While we were here we ended up getting all of our rings cleaned as well. (Yay, thank you to the hubby!) My husband and I can be quite picky when it comes to big purchases like this but you can see from the 5 star reviews here that Patrick comes off very accommodating but trustworthy. We felt the pricing was reasonable when comparing to online prices and you can get your setting customized here. He was not overly pushy but also gave honest feedback where needed. He recommended going with a bigger ring size than I thought I should go with but ultimately that was the right call given hands swell in the summer and there's no guarantee I'll lose weight (I was telling him I'm in the middle of losing weight lol... maybe too optimistic on my end?) I feel like that could be a sensitive topic for some women but he handled it well with light humor. The customized ring setting takes 3-4 weeks and resizing with fixing a diamond in the setting took about an hour. We came in unannounced the first time and Patrick invited us back the next weekend where he was able to show me the diamonds I wanted in the different carat sizes and cuts I wanted. I would highly recommend checking out Pro Gems and working with Patrick for any future engagement rings, anniversary rings, or any fine jewelry in general!!

In this modern era where you can pretty much buy any anime merch you want online, Anime Station still manages to provide a unique, curated shopping experience with the following: 1) Constantly updating with new products and new anime goods. Everytime I visit, there's something different and it's fun to just browse. 2) Capsule machines. There's a good number of them and while they are just a bit pricey, the variety and unusual prizes are worth it. 3) Official goods. As far as I can tell, most of the items are officially licensed and displayed in an orderly, neat way. 4) Ichiban kuji. If you don't know, Ichiban kuji is a prize lottery where you buy tickets towards different tiers of prizes. There are ways to purchase the prizes online but it's much more convenient the way they have you purchase tickets here. The Ichiban kuji available here are a good mix of older anime and new ones. It's also really nice that they have the prizes on display so you have a better idea of the actual product. It's often hard to tell sometimes what a prize is really like from photos or sample illustrations online. Today when I stopped by, Kate and the young man working (sorry forgot his name) helped me out to purchase tickets for the Frieren Ichiban kuji and I was able to get the special last prize!!
