A solid Shibuyala location. Not as grand as the Arcadia mall one but it's the closest and I think about comparable to the Temple City location. They had a Black Friday sale for 20% off their entire store, so I was able to grab some Japanese Mintia mints at an affordable price versus getting it online. There's a good amount of beauty products and skincare. There's some imported Japanese snacks, some supplements, a small section of home goods like cleaning supplies or fragrances and this location has a small section for women's lingerie. Once in awhile they have blind boxes and kuji here too. I've done Moomin kuji in the past and we got a Poke'mon blind box as well. At the front they have a small selection of clearance items as well. This place is such a hidden gem. Has so many of the most well known and popular brands from Asian skincare and makeup, and the price is fair. The staff were friendly and willing to help me, and weren't hover-y, which I appreciated. This store has TONS of Kbeauty & Jbeauty products at such a good price! I was able to find sunscreen I would've had to purchase on Yesstyle or Stylevana before discovering this place. They even have hair dye, nail polish, snacks, air fresheners, stationary, etc. For a shop of its size, my friend and I spent at least an hour walking around because they genuinely just have so much stuff. Stopped by the Koreatown location last year when I was in Chapman Plaza for dinner. Picked up an air freshener with an amazing scent and have been thinking about it ever since. Moved to OC and didn't want to go all the way to LA for this so glad to see they had a location in Rowland. I think this location is smaller than the other location but it still has tons of skincare and products from Japan/Korea. I specifically came to find a Japanese mascara that my friend said she found at the Koreatown location but was unable to find it here. I did browse their scents aisle and ended up buying 2 air freshener cans that were $10 each. More expensive than the Febreze car vent clips but I think the scents are so much better. As soon as I walked in here, I was followed around and watched...it was uncomfortable and I didn't see the associates do this with anyone else that came into the store after me. When an employee finally *DID* greet me, they immediately led me to the diet pills/diet supplement area and offered suggestions on those kinds of products LOL!! I'm not super skinny, but I'm also not extremely obese, either. Advice to the store: It's extremely rude to just assume a customer wants or needs dietary products just by looking at them. Unless the customers directly ask you for them, you probably shouldn't tell them they need to buy them or make assumptions or suggestions for those types of products to customers. Two stars because of the good variety of different products they had such as beauty supplies, Japanese toys and snacks, some housewares etc. The hair care products were a bit overpriced, the Kao Liese hair color I normally get on Amazon or other beauty supply places for about $14-16 was $21 for one box. The small Sanrio items were also marked up considerably higher than most places that sell Japanese toys. If you can't find your Japanese beauty products elsewhere, this place might have what you need. read more

I usually get my skin care here and know that most times they're always stocked on products. As I was in the aisle looking for a skin care product, there was a worker by the name Selena who was very rude giving weird face expressions to me and my friend.(mind you we come from Hispanic decent) I was searching for the product right next to her, not once did she even ask if I needed help when she could hear me having trouble looking and didn't even bother to greeted us. Until I asked her, I even showed her a picture. She glanced at my phone and just kept walking saying,"no we don't have it, it's out of stock."
