They clearly don't want their customers to shop comfortably. I asked to use the rest room. And they told me it was broken. After they looked at me and thought about it. Then a n older lady asked also. Since I was still near by they told her the same. I left and went to restaurant I was at earlier. I latter heard the lady slipped in the rain and didn't make it on time. I know for sure we won't be back especially the older lady. Not sure if they are all this way. I hope not. Hope they fix it or stop being prejudice to people. After getting all wet. I chose just to leave since that's probably what they wanted. Great location! The place is huge and the aisles are not as tight, crowded or messy. The clothes selection was decent. I was surprised by the size range. The clothes were nicely displayed as well. Located in a small strip mall, it's the only store worth going to in the area, besides stater bros. Large parking lot. With easy to find signs. Inside, there was a small waiting lounge? First time I've seen that. So, if someone wants to rest, they can have a seat. Impressive also, are the restrooms ! Clean and easy to find . The store is clean. Floors are well maintained. Lots of home stuff and a great selection of clothing. The people are friendly and helpful. They take touch payments, and their carts are easy to use all the way to your car. Please return the cart, keep the location clean, and presentable. Everything seems modern and prices are great clothing area person clerk is friendly and super clean. Great work, people. I've been a loyal customer of this store for over 10 years, and it's always been a reliable place to shop. The variety of products and the overall atmosphere have kept me coming back for years. However, my recent experience during checkout has completely changed my perspective, and I'm left feeling disheartened. As I approached the counter with my mom I mentioned I will be doing two separate transactions, the manager who attended to us made an off-putting comment, saying, "This is why I don't like doing this." While waving his hands in the air acting very bothered. After walking away to gather my items (two colognes left at the counter), he proceeded to check me and my mother out, all while remarking, "I'm the manager, and I can't get caught up." As someone who also works in management, I understand the pressures of a busy store, but his comment was unprofessional and unnecessary. It made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. My mother even commented on how inappropriate the remark was, which only added to my disappointment. We have been loyal customers for over a decade, but this experience has left such a bitter taste that I'm unlikely to return. While I understand that people have bad days, professionalism should always come first, especially when interacting with customers. Byron (Store Manager) is the worst!!! This guy is borderline bipolar. I've had 2 encounters with him. First time he was great upbeat friendly and very helpful. The second time I came in to make a return and he kept shaking his head in disapproval and even gave me this threatening look like he wanted to hurt me and cuss me out! At first I thought ok he's probably just having a bad day but when he looked at me the way he did I thought this guy is dangerous! No customer service and no control over his emotions. Don't ever go to this location unless you want to be harassed! I use to love going to this location always found good stuff since it's the closest one to my house, I recently went 2 different times in the night this week and the store manager " Alexis " or " Alexa " with the fake butt and plastic surgery on her face was following me around as if I was going to steal. I've come here numerous times and have always purchased stuff and never stole and she was treating me as if I was acting suspicious or trying to steal. Yesterday was my second time going and again! She was following me and 2 other employees were following me looking at my cart because I brought a Marshall's bag with stuff I'm going to return. As if I'm putting stuff in my bag... keep in mind my returns were on the bottom of the cart while the stuff I was interested in was on the top part of the cart! Even to the point where I returned my stuff at the cashier she was still eyeing me down so hard! I've never had an incident like this until these 2 times this week. Being harassed as if I'm stealing and being racially profiled. I'm definitely going to corporate about this. I've worked in retail before so I know how it works when people steal they can't touch or stop you so what are they trying to achieve by following you and getting so close to you. La Mirada has many specials things to offer and this Marshalls is one of them. I love the selection that have to offer and many items that are drastically on sale and a great deal!! I come here most of the time to find some eco friendly tees to wear, shoes, boots, sandals, jeans and skirts. I love how many brands they carry and also how very organized this Marshalls is. I have to say I like to sometimes come here once a week just to check if anything is new and it seems like they change items quite frequently. :) To get a good deal on your favorite name brands I would suggest going to these types of stores first and then if you really can't wait for it go and head to the mall and pay full price. Want to come to one of the least crowded stores around? This is is it! This Marshalls is located in the older shopping center that has the Rite Aid in it. There is plenty of parking around, and not much else (except for Golden Wall which has some good food!). Inside the store is pretty clean and has some good deals to be found. If you have never been to a Marshalls, but have been to a TJ Maxx then you are not missing out on much. It is owned by the same company and essentially the same store. I have never had any issues with the staff here, and I usually do not leave the store without buying something. Check out the clearance sections as you can score some neat stuff. read more

The manager on shift was extremely rude. I felt very discriminated. I was buying a some items hard to reach and his comment was "it was hard to reach right" "yes it was I replied". There were so many items in the way of the small chair." A better reach set up would improve customer service and reach for furniture. The manager on site was extremely rude and sarcastic which is not appreciated as a customer. I did move some items around to reach the chair I was purchasing and apparently he was upset by that. And made a sarcastic comment why I moved items around. Please check who was working this shift Saturday 3/20 around 6:30 pm. I think Alan something like that. This is not acceptable he followed my all the way outside and then told me I could not take the cart to my car even though I could not carry the chair on my own. Love it!! Hidden gem. May not look like much in the outside, but I always find great things. You just have to be prepared to walk around and look for things. I don't really go here with the expectation to find one thing, I go with several things in mind and I usually find some for a ridiculous price. Like a whole lounge wear outfit from splendid for like $55 usually like $200 for it. I also love buying my bras here because you an find high end, quality items for Target prices. This marshals is my favorite place to stop by when I need something because it's always stocked with hidden gems and have very good prices. I just stopped in to get a new phone case and screen protectors because I just got a new phone. I was wandering around looking at all of their fall decor and Halloween stuff and noticed the workers really don't care. I stopped by the candles and one was standing there talking on her phone. Like 5 minutes later I was by the food/ coffee flavoring and one of the workers almost hit me with a cart, I said sorry and he rolled his eyes and walked away. Then finally I got to the check out and I think he was the manager OD, but I said "Hi how are you?" And he didn't say anything, not even offer me their card like they always do. He just said "ur total is on the screen". I'm not sure if everyone was in a stressed mood because a regional manager was there or if corporate said something but I had such bad anxiety thinking "am I being a problem in this store?" I love Marshalls. Whenever I see one I have not entered I feel obligated to check it out(yes, I have a problem). This was my first time going to Marshalls in La Mirada and I had a great experience! I wish I lived nearby so I could got every week. This was my best Marshalls experience hands down. The staff were all friendly and the store was clean. This is a huge location. They had lots of things to choose from it is was all easy to find. Mostly everything was in size order. I felt like I was in a department store. So I go to marshalls to kill some time until I meet up with my friends at Mario's Peruvian, keep in mind its a Wednesday's around 4pm. Naturally I go straight to the men's section and found it to be a bit unorganized cloth not in racks where their supposed to be in. Staff not really friendly, I didn't even get a "hi" from the 5 staff members that passed right through me. Putting all the above aside I didn't see any good deals, even the clearance section only had deductions of two dollars off there regular price (come on). I think I stick to my local Ross. read more

They had beauty products for good prices. Nothing special though. They had NO selection for comforters. They had good shoes, kinda pricey.. about 22 dollars for good kid shoes but no selection on sizes. P.S. While i was checking out my items at the desk, my 11 year old daughter went to return our shopping cart (located at the front of the store). When she was walking back SHE SLIPPED AND INJURED HER ARM! SHE HAD HURT IT SO BADLY IT HURT HER FOR 2 WEEKS! I should have made a customer complaint but I just wanted to leave. Apparently, someone had changed the price on a toy I was purchasing and they inferred I did it. Inadvertently, I left my phone at the register. I was franticly looking for it outside when another customer noticed. She inquired what was wrong. When I told her, she said she found it at the register and the cashier had it. I love this Marshalls! I almost feel guilty writing this review, because this place is such a hidden gem. It is hidden in the west side of La Mirada and it is usually only frequented by locals. It is located in a ghetto fabulous strip mall which will make you feel like you are stuck in 1988. However, its these old stores that are usually stocked with great merchandise ranging from clothes to home goods. They have a great selection of towels, glassware and candles to choose from as well. I like the fact that this store usually does have a lot of merchandise in stock and that it doesn't get cleaned out unlike other locations in OC. They have great sales items that would make any penny pincher jump for joy. The clearance rack in the bath and body section (full of soaps, shampoo, body washes and skin care products) would make any member of the TV show "Extreme couponing" break down and cry tears of joy! read more

Ehhh... That pretty much sums up my experience here. I didn't spend too much time, but from what I saw, the selection was mediocre. There's a big 'clearance sale' going on, I guess. There were a lot of people there on a Friday night. I checked out the women's selection for a little - mostly dresses. I didn't see anything I really liked. Then, I checked out the baby selection. It's kind of small here compared to other Marshall's I have been to. I didn't particularly like this one at all, but I found a 24 pack of baby washcloths for $5.99, which is what I forgot I needed. Their clothes selection for baby boys was terrible. They had about five choices in different sizes. On the way to the register, I browsed the cell phone covers. BLEH. Checkout was easy. I came in with a item I bought a while ago (I happen to find it that day,and it was never worn). I wanted to return it,but the first associate told me no. I asked for a manager because I did not understand why I couldn't return it if it had tags and never worn. Another lady came over,she said no. She said that because it was no longer in the system anymore. I asked if she was a manager,and she said no,but that I still couldn't return it. It had all tags and never worn. Finally after those 2 conversations,I asked them if I could get a actual manager to ask her if she could make the exception. Finally,after all that,DON the manager lady came over. She was nice! She did the return with no questions asked. She punched on some code,and gave me the lowest price on a gift card. She was nice. Don got the problem fixed! I decided to shop around for a gym sweater,the young girl Julie at the fitting room was super helpful! She even gave me a compliment,and she kept up fitting room very very clean!
