They always have several different kinds of coffee brewed at all hours of the day. They also have a cappuccino machine that stocks many different flavors of coffee like french vanilla, mocha, Oreo, nutter butter, caramel macchiato, and their latest coconut mango. More of a personal preference they were good, but not my favorite flavor. They have lots of specialty beer and they know a lot about each of them. I was able to pick up one that I haven't been able to get since I visited that brewery. Unfortunately it's no longer available as the brewery can't keep up with the demand. But I was happy to get to reexperience that beer again. No, I understand what you're thinking. You pull up on this sketchy looking gray building that used to be a gas station but with no pumps. It does look plain gray on the outside. Do not let that dissuade you. The food prep area is kept very clean, neat and organized. The only downside is I would much prefer to eat many of this food for dinner and they stop at 4 PM. They offer other things here as well, so be sure to check them out.

Kevin's corner store has become a local favorite in the Sanford area. There are two buildings here;…read moreKevin's main convenience store, which supplies all of your normal convenience store needs minus gas. Adjacent to the convenience store is Kevin's Liquor store. My wife and I frequent both locations weekly. The store is within walking distance of our home so it is a quick easy spot to grab a snack, drink or cigar for that fun night out on the town. I would say that Kevin's prices are fair market value when compared to other convenience stores in the area. There have been occasions where I have been able to get a bottle of Jim Beam or Makers Mark at a better price than ABC or Walgreens. On a side note, if you love Bud Light Platinum this may be the only place you can find it in a 12 pack or more. I am not sure why 12 packs of Platinum are so rare but if you need it Kevin's almost always has it. The parking lot can be quite active so be prepared to navigate around other people who cannot park, drive in general or just don't know how-to walk-in public. This is part of the reason we like to walk here but I guess that's how it is when your business is located at the intersection of French Ave. and 20th street in Sanford. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. The guy who is usually working in the liquor store is awesome at helping you find what you need at the best price. I feel is a great way to keep customers coming back. If you are visiting Sanford for a fun day/night out, stop in to Kevin's before heading downtown. There is something for everyone here, you might just save some Moolah and enhance your overall experience visiting Sanford.

They have a decent restroom available and I appreciate that they have a bunch of gas pump stations along with Ethanol Free and Diesel. The intersection here in the morning with all the contractors and School Busses coming and going makes it a PITA when trying to get to work; however, it's not too bad getting in an out of the lot during non-peak times of the day. The interaction came across as unhelpful and discourteous. We completely understand if an item is out of stock or unavailable, but we still expect customer service to be respectful and professional. We wanted to make you aware of the experience because it was disappointing and did not reflect the level of service we would expect. The cashier on the other hand was very helpful and was willing to go look, but unfortunately had a line of customers, and we advise that we appreciated the gesture.

While fueling up, I looked up RaceTrac and it looks like it was started way back in 1934 by Carl Bolch Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. It has since expanded to over 550 locations throughout twelve states in the southern United States. I have never had any real issues at a RaceTrac and it is one of the brands that I woukd pick over other brands. All in all, this was an overall positive experience and I would recommend stopping here if you need gas and maybe something from the convenience store (or maybe a bit of both). I'll note that I had a wireless portable battery that worked with his phone, and our son we were traveling to visit also has a similar phone, so hubs didn't HAVE to stop for a new charging cable at this moment. But, I would have wanted a new cord ASAP, too. Initially, hubs thought he'd spotted an office supply store across the street from our hotel, so we could get extra cc points for this purchase, but once he realized it was a grocery store, we pivoted to try another store in the same plaza. Shelves were barren, though, and we found no charging cords. Then hubs remembered seeing Walgreens by our hotel so we drove back across the street. After hubs bought what he needed, he decided he wanted to take advantage of a BOGO half-off deal. So he went back inside & bought another cord for half price. I'm not sure exactly how that transaction went, but I know hubs returned to the car happy with his purchases. We'd definitely shop here again!
