Although they don't have the Quick Care anymore here that I liked coming to on occasion, my experience with Tiffany and also having a pharmacy that is open 24 hours has sealed my 5-star review for this Walgreens. Tiffany in the pharmacy is a unicorn and a rock star merged together in a pharmacist form. She helped me navigate the discount card options and price checking for a memory care drug for my mother-in-law that is not covered by insurance. I was able to supply Tiffany solid details with insurance back up letters to confirm stuff, but she took the time and made the effort to check price options across a few platforms for me quite quickly. The script that started at $800+ for a 3 month supply was reduced to less than $100 for 3 months. Patience, effort, care...Thanks Tiffany. But with that said and having to pop back to this pharmacy to sort out issues with my mother-in-law....Albert and Helen are both kind and efficient as well, in addition to being spot on to solve my issues. read more

It's a typical Walgreens. Nothing fancy, but a pharmacy when you need it. There was a sale ad posted at entrance. Carts with sanitizer wipes were provided at the entrance as well. Customer service at the pharmacy was very helpful. A medication disposal bin is located by the pharmacy check out. The store is showing it's age. It could use a renovation including better lighting, but it functions as intended. read more

The pharmacy here is awful. My experience was so negative I contacted corporate only to be called by what I assume was an employee at this store with more lies and inconsistent answers. How it started. I was at the Costco pharmacy and wanting to buy insulin needles. The Costco employee advised that they didn't have what I was looking for in stock but if they did they were fairly expensive and suggested I go to Walgreens or Walmart. Walgreens is closer so I went there. After standing in line I requested the insulin needles in my desired size. Employee said he had to check and see if they had them, they did. He wasn't sure of the price and had to check with another employee. He did and I witnessed this conversation from afar. He came back and said I can't sell them to you. No explanation, no request of scrip confirmation from me, nothing. I find that odd considering Nevada is not a state where proof of scrip is required nor did they even ask for one. This is where I question some racial profiling being that I am a black female and there was zero explanation and change of tone appeared after original employee asked the price question of the second employee. Both males. After contacting corporate I received a phone call from this store with further excuses that they can't sell insulin needles because they need to make sure they have enough for customers. Again, am I not a customer if I'm standing right in front of you wanting to buy a product. And I'll reiterate neither employee asked for any type of scrip or even checked if I had prior pharmacy history at Walgreens so I call BS on that lame excuse. I'm also attaching a picture of a screenshot from their website that further verifies what is either their racial bias, stupidity or plain lack of customer service at this Walgreens location. This is the last time I'll ever step foot in a Walgreens. I brought in 40$ to be loaded onto my chime account due to making sure a payment for my credit card didn't bounce! I ordered a desk calendar for 9.95, it's so nice and was ready same day. Just walked around store and found the Walgreens brand 'Nice' dozen eggs for $5.99! I feel like I scored! We got our Covid-19 vaccines here last night. We had consecutive appointments for us (set up online, but stated under 12 was not available). So we checked in, signed our forms, inquired if they had the one for under 12, browsed and waited. So, we all were able to get our shots. KUDOs to the pharmacy department. Thank You to all of you! And we got coupons for getting the jab. The promo: buy something for $1.00, get a credit for $20.00, so we found candy for 1.29 each. Must have rewards card, use your telephone number. We did this 3x, separately. So we ended up with $60.03 credit immediately. The max payout is $50.00. We tried different combos but we ended up getting two squishmallows, six bags of candy, 2 for $8.00. KUDOs to the clerks at the front checkout counters, for all of their assistance! If you're in the area and just wanting to pick up a snack, sure this Walgreens will suffice. If you plan on picking up a prescription, I highly and I mean HIGHLY recommend you check your prescription as it's been numerous times at this location where the workers in the pharmacy have put in the wrong prescription or a duplicate prescription, let alone not even knowing what insurance they accept. You would think that a Pharmacy with a bunch of Pharmacists and technicians would know this, but nope. First impressions are always important and when you go to get your prescription, they go and dig for it like a needle in a haystack plus the lack of personality is why I switched to a different Pharmacy. read more

The worst customer service or no customer service. My husband recently picked up a new prescription and the pharmacist never reached out to explain these new meds and clerk asked he wanted to purchase the old meds which these were replacing. This could have been a health risk. Also I wanted to purchase a nail item that was locked up so I asked the cashier to send someone to unlock the item and no one came for 10 minutes so I went back to cashier to request someone again, and she said oh you want to purchase something and I said yes today . So person came but didn't have the unlocking key so she went away a finally came and unlocked item. Never apologized for the wait. Just the worse customer service at Walgreens on 7845 W. This review is directly in regards to a worker named "Paula" who claims she's a manager at this store. I have been a client at this store for years, and never once have i felt mistreated. Today i was humiliated, laughed at and very clearly discriminated. My accent is thick but i am more then capable of being understood. I was there to pick up some pictures but when i asked "Paula" she dismissed me, ignored me and proceeded to mock me and make fun of me to other customers. She completely disregarded what i was telling her. How completely disrespectful can you be?! She stood behind her cashier, laughing with the next customer in line, about how she didn't know what i was talking about!! Incompetent, inconsistent, mean. I have been coming to this pharmacy for over ten years now. I like it because it's open 24 hours, and I can always come in for last minute prescriptions if something comes up. Over the past two weeks they have been an absolute mess. I have probably called in over 20 times to get my prescriptions filled, and it's always something. I have new insurance and was hoping to apply it to my prescription when the pharmacist, Veronica, rushed over to the window and yelled "prescription insurance isn't the same as medical insurance!" I obviously know this, and was explaining that the woman over the phone said to come in and they would look up my prescription insurance. She began yelling again, making a scene and talking to me a like a child. I couldn't help but get teary eyed, paid $133 for my rx (bc they refused to help me), and left. My prescription was sent to them they told me they didn't take my insurance said they would transfer them to the cvs. They also said cvs would call. Waited all day yesterday nothing. The worst service I have ever received from any pharmacy. I had a prescription sent over from another pharmacy to this location because they are 24hrs. I called five times before arriving to make sure they were able to start preparing the prescription. Each time a different pharmacy technician answered the phone. Which were all very incompetent i'm sorry to say. Non of them knew how to do a simple patient search for all Walgreens or bill insurance. Two of the young boys told me specifically they didn't know how to bill insurance but they are pharmacy technicians. I worked as a pharmacy technician for 6 years and that's part of your job. If you don't know how then ask. But each time I was supposedly transferred and hung up on. The last technician I spoke to was Kayla who had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. She was rude and clearly doesn't know how to do her job. Kayla told me she couldn't find another profile for my roommate so a new profile was created. Which the person before was able to find my roommates profile with an old address. All she had to do was update the information . But she created a new profile and said there was no insurance on file. After speaking to a store manager about Kayla's inability to do her job as well as having the worst attitude and behavior I have ever seen. Michelle was able to come over and give us the prescription which all of a sudden they had three profiles for my roommate and insurance information. This pharmacy needs to train all their technicians on simple customer service skills, answering the phone, billing insurance, and searching for patient profiles. They are plain lazy and rude. This would never have been acceptable with any of my pharmacy managers, store managers, or even pharmacist I have worked with. This kind of behavior is how informations get messed up and can cause some serious issues. read more

This pharmacy is really incompetent. I suggest just going elsewhere. They are never stocked and they always forget to process your medications which is a HUGE hassle to go and be under the impression that they have it all under control. To top it off, their technicians have huge ego problems and have no consideration for their customers. Staff member Beni need more training. She disputed that youi cannot make a paybyme transaction with item purchases. I tried to help her and explain that the POS will give her a total to collect with my purchase if she would enter the amount I wanted to pay and follow the instructions on the POS. Not only did she tried to argue that her management team told them not to process it that way but she refused to just follow the instructions on her POS. After several minutes, she finally just entered the amount and was given a total to collect. There was no apology, even after I said thank you and appreciated it. She went to defend herself, told me she been with company for 5 years and never did it that way. Very condescending in her statement and was more upset. I would have a expected her to have taken accountability and been happy she learnt something new. Worse experience I've had at this location. read more

Never Again, Never Again. I Only came here thinking it would be better and faster than the Urgent Cares in town. The wellness clinic is a waste of time. I saw a APN, not an MD and she misdiagnosed me and told me to take OTC meds for my sinusitis. She was nice but what's nice when you don't feel good and are misdiagnosed. I went home downloaded Dr on Demand App and saw a Doc Through FaceTime that was 100% better. I was diagnosed properly and given the prescribed meds for my sinus infection within 30 minutes. So basically I wasted an hour of my day at the Wellness Clinic and $20 bucks and had no relief whatsoever. Thanks for nothing Walgreens!! read more

Absolutely the worst Walgreens I've ever experienced whether it is eight in the morning or 10 PM in the evening you will be lucky to reach a person for your life essentials being your pharmaceuticals you either get put on hold without someone answering very rudely or you stay on hold for 45 minutes or longer there is nothing more frustrating than trying to reach someone that is supposed to be in a position to help you and then they have a bad attitude simply stated if you cannot get your job done or you do not like to answer the phone relocate or find a new career I promise once someone finally does answer all my medication's will be switched to Smith's or CVS absolutely ridiculous I would not even give them a one star review read more

Literally just here to drop off a prescription which should take no more then 2 minutes. The workers here are literally the slowest workers I have ever seen and this place is always like this. Most times I need to stop, I just drive right by because the line outside is 5+ cars long in both lines.... And going inside... Worse! The place is shiny clean. One of the reasons I am visiting Walgreens is that they are keeping the place extremely clean. I mean the floor is cleaner compared to a food table in some restaurants. No, I am not joking or hyperbolizing. Nevertheless, as a client, I expect a little bit more competent and trained staff. I gave them a prescription and I took them ages to find the exact eye drops. A feeling assured that they don't know what exactly are doing. Hopefully, they do, because they are dealing with people' health. I've always had hit or miss experiences with this particular Walgreens! I wish they had a separate sections for the pharmacy because that department is really a piece of work at times. Can't tell you how many times I've been texted that my prescription is rejected because "my insurance doesn't cover" the medication but in fact It is. I've had to call several times to my insurance and ask the reason only to find that whomever is trying to process the request is using the wrong coding which in return causes the silly automated decline for the prescription **rolls eyes** but anyways.... I've had better experiences in the Walgreen Healthcare Clinic. Recently I needed to get a few updated shots prior to returning back to UNLV this semester so I choose to do them here! Way cheaper and my insurance takes care of all billing 100%. The doctors who work out of this part are really nice and take the time to explain anything you have questions on. So overall it's an okay location depending on the day and department you visit lol. read more

Just want to give a huge POSITIVE shout out to head pharmacist Nicole and tech / assistant Kayla Their attention to detail is phenomenal . I went in to pickup a regular monthly prescription but , there was an issue regarding how the information was transmitted by my Dr. , once again Kayla and Nicole were were once again up to the task . Took them less than 5 minutes to decipher what the issue was and I was on my way home with all my meds. I don't mean to pile on the pharmacy but I was astonished at how long the drive-thru wait was in the middle of the afternoon. I pre-paid for one prescription and waiting for approximately 15-20 minutes while only one car/customer was served. I ultimately got out of line because I was uncomfortable with the wait time, didn't want to leave may running and concerned about the service. I called and asked to speak the manager if this was typical wait time. She said it wasn't and gave examples why it might be (covid-testing, checking with insurance), she was gracious but a little impatient. Ultimately, I've decided to switch to a different pharmacy because the wait line isn't convenient, and I'm not confident this is a one-off deal. read more
