On Oct 18 2022 between 3:00-3:30 pm my brother scheduled a rapid covid test at the drive thru. He is autistic and mute. Walgreen's on Durango and Charleston was where the telephone self service appointment system sent us back in March 2021 to get our first of two Covid 19 series Vaccinations. The Pharmacist asked for our photo I.D.'s for Verification, checked us in, had us sign the proper forms and advised us to remain in the store 15 minutes after we get our vaccinations just in case we have any allergic reactions. The Clinician who administered our vaccines made the whole procedure stress free. She explained what she was doing with a sense of humor so that we knew what to expect . We were advised to move our vaccinated arms around and throughout the day so the soreness would not be that bad. While staying in the Store for 15 minutes after the shots, it was a good time to buy Vitamins D to help keep Vital Organs healthy, Cancer and Fibroid free, Vitamin C for Immune Health and Calcium for strong bones. I returned solo for the second appointment to the same Walgreen's in April 2021 to get the second shot and repeated the entire process after the Pharmacist asked me first if I had any side effects from the first shot. Well the store was open 24 hours and I needed a loofa so I could take a shower and not only did they have them but they were on sale for .99 so I bought like 6 what a deal WOOT WOOT!!! Pharmacy seems to have a lot of staff, at least 4 during the nite @ 9pm since it's open 24hrs. I saw 2 come to the drive in & 3 pickups when I was there so it's steady but not crowded. The store itself has a lot of business with people coming to get various sundries. There's also alot of closeout clearance stuff in here so if you need something, it's bound to be either on sale or clearance practically. For example they had plenty of candles on clearance of various sizes & types that you could give as gifts. I got real Kleenex ultra soft on clearance for 0.57. Trop OJ was on sale for $2.99 per 1/2 gal with a $1 back on your receipt. Bargains galore. read more

This review is for the pharmacy clerk at the drive-thru. I stopped by Sunday morning (9/17) to drop off my parents prescriptions. The female clerk told me, they don't take Medicare and the medicine won't be covered. I called B/S, I'm not going to waste my time arguing with someone who's incompetent. She had one job, she didn't even call to verify the coverage. Medicare is nationwide, I never had a problem refilling my parents scripts. Never returning here and taking our business somewhere else. If you need a drug delivery don't expect quick delivery. My doctor call in a drug, at 5 pm I asked that it be delivered since I'm supposed to limit my walking. Thursday tracking said it would be delivered by end of day Thursday by FedEx. No delivery was made, now the FedEx tracking site shows no information that this order has even shipped. Awful service. Antibiotics are an important drug you'd think Walgreens would expedite delivery. The worst service ever. The pharmacy never has enough staff and wait times are off the charts. read more

They make you wait on the phone 25- 40 minutes on the phone & in the drive- thru. & their excuse is they are lshort handed. The pharmacy help are totally rude and incompetent. I am a Cancer patient who has undergone a bilateral mastectomy. I am in active treatment, I have had infection in both site were the breast has been removed and I have been hospitalized 4 times since December 9th. The last thing I need is to be belittled, spoken to badly and refused service. I have been left to fight battles that should be between the pharmacy and the doctor. For instance, my doctor called to have my pain medication released today whether than February 1st. Soon after the doctors office called me to confirm they had spoken to Walgreens I received a mobile notification that my prescription was ready for pickup. Once again due to the staff at Walgreens not effectively performing task, Nicole at the Desert Inn location in Las Vegas, NV, has denied the release of pain medication. Never have I received a mobile alert that medication is ready for a future date. I am currently administering antibiotics through IV and have a drain for the infection from surgery I just had on yesterday and have to go through the night and no telling how long tomorrow for pain medication. Nicole states she is going to verify that my doctor's office did indeed call today on tomorrow, but when she feels like it. What is the consequence, when she find that my doctor office did call and Walgreens did not notate it. My consequences are pain and suffering. From speaking with her she makes me out to be an consistent problem when in fact it's just the opposite. I have been getting pain medication since 2015, I know how it works. Because my meds are so complicated between the many doctors I see on a weekly basis, Nicole has now decided to state they will not fill my medications at this location, on top of being disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. I took a PCR covid test on Feb 1, they said 72 hours to get result, called 4 days later and still no result and they said to call Labcorp but they don't know which one, everytime I call they just say result is pending, did an inquiry with LabCorp and they responded saying test could not be performed and to contact walgreens to recollect sample! This store is by far the most poorly staffed Walgreens I've been to. The pharmacy will continuously put you on hold for 20 min and then hang up on you. So you figure, let's head over there, right? Nope. Pharmacy staff are rude and show a complete lack of care to the fact that there's 14 people standing waiting. To be understaffed is one thing. FNP Lea Ramos rocks! I'm here in the Healthcare Clinic in great pain with an ear infection and she comes bouncing out of her exam room full of joy and happiness. I'm in pain, I'm grumpy, I just want to get my prescription, go home, and go to sleep. But, she was so positive, so helpful, so much energy, she made it very difficult for me to be grumpy. Bad customer service and that's all I have. I have to say after a day at the doctors, fighting a nasty flu the last thing I expected to happen was a shitty drive thru experience picking up my meds hours later. I had no idea it took hours to get meds! Anyway after waiting in a long line I finally get up to the window to be told they don't have all my meds. I asked how that was possible because I called & checked status and of course everything was ready to be picked up. The girl has to be in her early twenties & could care less about my disappointment. She tells me to try target because they may have it. I of course asked her to call them to check because I'm not going to drive around looking for the other part of my prescription. She said she couldn't and at that point I drove away instead of smashing my car into her window :) It was a long day... After I drove off like a crazy lady I pulled over to see what the heck was received from them. Two different pills and something was still missing but guess what? There's no paper stating WTF is still missing so I have no idea what to ask target for. I now get out of my car to go inside to find an adult that maybe cares. I see my young new friend from the window and I ask for her manager. I now get a new girl maybe a year older than the other one and I tell her about my dilemma. She apologizes and says to try cvs across the street. I asked her to write down what the heck I'm missing and she says "that's a good idea". Lord help me keep my composure! There's nothing like being sick and forced to deal with careless morons. I got really nervous after this & googled all my meds to make sure I didn't receive some hormones or maternity pills! What a joke! Shame on our health care system for hiring morons to help us get better. I now realize that if you get really sick you'll be in trouble. My neighborhood Walgreens. Normally, I have a good experience. Today Assistant Store Manager Juliana was preoccupied with leaving the store at noon rather than providing excellent customer service. I had a simple return and asked if I can receive $2 off on the Advil I purchased a day ago. The Advil was advertised in the paper today for $2 off. Although the Advil was on the same receipt as the item I was returning, she replied no! She said I made the purchase before the sale. I asked if I had return the Advil I had purchased and then buy it back again, she said yes. REALLY? This is what my customer experience was like with Assistant Store Manager Juliana: -Juliana did not greet me. -she did not look at me during the entire transaction. -she did not thank me for shopping at Walgreens nor did she tell me to have a nice day. -when I said I had a question, she replied "what?" Juliana needs more training in customer service. Maybe someone who appreciates having a job can replace her. Walgreens...do a better job at training your managers. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Take the day off! Kyle was the gentleman who rang up my items. Juliana did have time for that a really didn't give a damn. He had eye contact, was extremely nice, personable and kind. He greeted all customers, thanked them and bid them a good day. I hope to have Kyle assist me in the future. Kyle is more qualified to be assistant manager than Juliana. Remember Juliana, if it were not for us customers, you would not have a job at Walgreens. read more

I had a sinus and ear infection and I was able to choose a time that worked for me on the same day I noticed symptoms. I think the doctor's name was Nancy and the process was really quick and easy. I was also able to get my medication immediately. Definitely will be coming back when I need quick help. read more

Yep, as I have been reading from other people, I receive alerts that medication is ready, go and wait in line forever, and am then told that they do not have it ready/won't release. As I have also read from others, one of my medications regularly gets turned down due to "putting the wrong code in," and then after having to call and wait on hold (often for a half hour or so) am told that it's fine, it was just the coding...so back I go to wait in line. What is sad is that this Walgreens used be lovely. The pharmacist was kind and helpful, and the staff was always cheerful, polite and efficient. The staff at the rest of the store is still great, but the pharmacy seems to have changed big time since the new pharmacist came, or so it seems to me. Sigh. read more

Checked in and the computer said it would be a 10-15 minute wait. No problem... Well after 30 minutes, some lady calls me up front to tell me they cant see me because they close at 5:30 and the doctor will not stay past closing. So frustrating. Went to pick up medication and not on your did they not add my insurance to my account they were going to charge me full price. They supposedly don't know what Humana pays for that. I know it's stressful for them so I wait for my pain killers because it's not there fault I'm in pain and I won't take it out on them.
