Truly THE WORST Customer Service experience I have ever had. Laura, the shift lead (super surprising given her handling of the situation) had me kicked out of the store for being "rude." My rude behavior started with me making my way to the coffee aisle before I was stopped and told I couldn't proceed because the floor was wet. Funny enough I was coming from an aisle that was also wet but weirdly enough not closed. I didn't notice a wet floor sign on either aisle so i asked if the other aisle was closed. She replied no and that she will just mop it again but because four other people walked down the aisle I need to go down and she mopped it four times, she wasn't going to do it again (awesome customer service, totally not dismissive at all). So at this point I ask I i could please look at the selection of coffee so I can know what I am buying. She proceeded to ask what brand i was looking for and so on. Since there's lots of different flavors and I would have felt better looking at the selection but since Laura didn't feel like mopping again I was instead told a couple brands and there prices ("starbucks and seattles best are 5.99" [funny enough that was the sale i was looking for but since there's a good variety of flavors - looking at the product would have been ideal]) At this point, I ask so how long will the floor take to dry. She told me 15 minutes, as if i have never had to mop a floor before. I told her that a 15 minute wait time is a bit extreme. Because the shift lead didn't feel like doing her job I had three options a. wait 15 minutes for the floor to dry or b. let Laura decide what coffee i was buying tonight or c. (which was suggested by Laura) go to the Decatur location. Unfortunately I went with option d and walked down the aisle which is when Laura abused her power and had me kicked out for being "rude" as if telling a customer they can't shop because they'll have to mop again is the nicest thing in the world to say. I don't think I was being rude in asking to see the products. I know mopping the floor again isn't ideal but neither is letting somebody I don't know shop for me. As somebody who works in customer service, you shouldn't put your personal comfort level over the needs of your customers and company that pays your bills. So as I protest and basically plead for them let me buy the coffee and leave, Laura decides to pull her phone out AND CALL THE POLICE! Imagine calling the police for somebody dirtying up your floor haha. I actually mulled around waiting for the police to show up so i could see how ridiculous this could get but i figured it would most likely end with me COFFEE-LESS. At that point I leave and as I do I remind Laura and her cashier that their corporate friendly brand of racism is not welcome and it is very much felt (oh yeah i'm black - i hope that doesn't make you, the reader think any less of me). As a former frequent customer of this location, I always feel like I'm being watched by the staff, at night in particular (security likes me tho :] ) and I always feel like i should make my purchase as quick as possible. This night was no different, and i see why. I don't see myself spending money at this location anymore and I hope that the proper channels speak with the staff at this location. I am shocked that I was kicked out of the store tonight for basically walking down an aisle after asking to purchase some coffee numerous times. I asked nicely numerous times, and i didn't get remotely rude until AFTER i was kicked out. I never cursed or raised my voice until AFTER I was told the police were to be called. I know I did my very best to keep cool. I hope if you made it this far you understand my position. Walking down an aisle is not a crime and because you don't feel like doing it again isn't a valid excuse to keep customers from shopping said aisles. I hope not mopping the aisle for a "fifth time" was worth it. read more

Though I firmly believe no one should ever have to kiss someone's rear end to show customer service I will NOT be talked down to like a child when I'm spending my dang money in MY neighborhood store. I will not grace this store again, I can afford to drive a few miles out of the way for descent customer service. Pretty much what you would expect from any other Walgreen's, however the pharmacy almost always has a long line and service is slow. Not sure if this is true for other pharmacies in the area. They might just be understaffed and insurance inquiries can sometimes be complicated.. in any case if you go to the pharmacy I would suggest going during the evening/nighttime hours to avoid waiting so long. read more

This pharmacy is terrible! They advise my boyfriend to buy a cheaper pill of plan b that it works the same and it's $5 cheaper. It didn't work at all made me sick and now I'm pregnant. All he did was ask for regular Plan B which had worked for me before and now because of the stupid ass bitches that work there I am pregnant because of a generic pill thanks a fucking lot. He described them as two Hispanic women who said I would be fine. I am not fine an they are not doctors to give suggestions out like that next time they should just give people what they ask for not some cheap bullshit they recommend. The store staff is friendly and accommodating. I went in looking for a particular lipgloss and I wasn't able to find it where you normally would fine chapstick. The women at the beauty counter advised me where to find it and also told me that there were new styles coming out soon so be sure to buy the ones I like now because they will be changing. My only complaint is that the parking lot is so dark and there are usually sketchy characters hanging out in front of the store asking for money or rides to places. It would be really nice if they could provide better lighting to make those walking to their cars alone a little safer. read more

I have been a customer at this Walgreens for many years and I must admit in the beginning it wasn't easy to get service but after giving them feedback they are now giving me great service. The manager has been putting aside posterboard paper for me so that it's always available when I need it weekly for my business. Now that posterboard is discontinued and she put aside some for me because she knew that I needed it. I thinkher efforts deserve commendation. read more

Most of their staff is completely rude in person and over the phone. They don't let you finish speaking, they completely cut you off and assume they know what you're talking or asking about. I love this store. Everyone is so friendly. I can always get help when I need it. It does get busy sometimes, but we are in a busy neighborhood so sometimes you have to have patience. The pharmacy is awesome. I know people complain, but more often than not they are trying to pick up early (which is against the law for C2 narcotics) or they are just impatient. Did you know that Walgreens pharmacist's are doctors? Yep they know more than your doctor! They will tell you that they need to get you off your prescribed medications. Therefore they will refuse to fill a prescription written by your doctor because they know what is better for you! I have been on a very low dose medication for a back injury for several years and after using this pharmacy for over a year the pharmacist informed me that she needed to help me get off my medication by refusing to refill my medication before I even asked them to fill it. Yep I just went to the doctor and she sent my prescription in for the pharmacy to keep on file until I needed it. The extremely rude pharmacist called me at work and informed me that I was no longer going to be able to get this particular medication from her. When I spoke to the manager, Melissa, she gave me the impression that the matter would be handled. My doctor spoke to her and was also under the impression that it was resolved. Nope! When it was time to get my refill I was told no that the pharmacist had closed out my prescription and they would not be able to help me. So if you need a good pharmacy this one isn't it! Try CVS. I had my doctor transfer my medication there and I got much better service with a friendly greeting and a smile. read more

I had to pay for a prescription out-of-pocket because there were no pharmacies open that took my insurance, but I needed antibiotics FAST. My medication would have been $108. The pharmacist did some magic with a discount card and it brought my prescription cost down to $33. What a lifesaver!! read more

At 2:50 am this morning my daughter developed a serious ear infection and needed her RX quickly. The super nice pharmacist on duty at that time was excellent. He filled the script in less than 15 minutes while I waited in my car. He also offered me a few over the counter options for probiotics which were requested on the script by the Dr. Great, quick and friendly service this time. Worst pharmacy staff. Told me to come back for my prescription an hour later, so I did. Prescription was ready but insurance wouldn't release it til the 24th. I wish the pharmacist would have checked that before making me drive al the way back. When I returned, the pharmacists told me they couldn't release it til the 26th. This is ridiculous customer service. This isn't pain medication or any thing that's sold on the streets. I don't understand why I was also treated like an annoyance. This is the closest Walgreens to my home. This is the third time that I have went to this Walgreens To put in a prescription,and have it filled. I always assume it will take at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes max! They have really bad customer service and communication with the clients. The last time before this visit I went and dropped off my prescription, told him I was going to pay cash and I left because they told me it would take one hour. I came back and hour and 45 minutes later and they had not even started to fill my prescription, the gal told me that she needed my prescription card in order to start to fill my order which I had already told them I was paying cash which is with my HSA card. The gal then told me it was going to be another hour because they hadn't even started to fill the prescription. Today I go in to get my prescription filled which the doctor had already called the prescription in, they told me it would take 15 minutes. I waited 30 minutes as I watch everybody else get their prescriptions and I finally went to the counter and asked if my prescription was filled. The guy looks on the computer and states that he needed my insurance card Which again I had told them upfront that I was paying with my HSA card, he didn't told me it was going to be 15 minutes why he prepared it, I am extremely sick and this is ridiculous that I would have to wait 45 minutes to get a Z pack! If the patient require BP medication or Diabetic meds,this store is fairly efficient. However if the patient is seen by a pain management Clinic d/t suffering from intractable chronic pain or awaiting another surgery,that's another story. Each Pharmacist or technician has conflicting answers,changing dates of availability of the drug,one pharmacist tells you that they are out of this particular dose ,but will call you ASAP as he already received the confirmation from the ordering Physician. When you call the next day another pharmacists tells you that they DO have the Medication& the ordered dose ,HOWEVER THE DOCTOR NEVER RETURNED THEIR REQUEST FOR CONFIRMATION OF THE ORDER. Is one hand does not know what the other one is doing? I am avoiding printing the Pharmacists' name,because I am a also Lincensed in the Medical field(disabled at this time d/t awaiting surgery) I prefer not to smear any particular Pharmacist. I have respect for all of them overall,as they have difficult job with all the Federal & State regulation. However, giving conflicting information to the patient who is already suffering from INTRACTABLE PAIN & laughing in the background is less then professional. I have been inside the this pharmacy & have seen clients in the Drive-Thru ,when they have prescription for a controlled substance,the staff makes jokes or just making unpleasant comments among themselves then tell the client that they are out of it or can not be filled at that store. Not all staff is like that , JACKIE is ALWAYS polite,professional & efficient. I do understand that there are people who might want to have controlled substance d/t dependence & that's very sad ,but there are also patient who suffer from Intractable back pain or other medical condition IE Cancer the medication or lack of may also have a deep affect on the sufferer's mental health, limiting their daily simple functioning & that's nothing to laugh about. I only hope that none of the staff will need to depend on pain management medication.because the way I feel,NO ONE in the right mind would choose to take this stuff if they did not need to help them to decrease the level of suffering. Yes ,I am frustrated with some of the staff & hope that in the future,they would be more empathetic,professional & being aware that clients are watching their action,attitude & how they treat one another. I went in late (around 11p), to buy a few items, including this $10 hair conditioner that was locked in where u need to ask to open with a key so I went to cashier to pay for the other items and I told the cashier (old toothless Asian rude guy) if I can have someone open with their key the lid so I can get that specific hair conditioner that I want to purchase. He said ok wait here they are coming. Meanwhile he didn't pick up the phone to dial for someone/manager to come out and help me. 7 minutes passed while waiting by cashier so I told him "how much longer do I have to wait for someone to open that lid so I can purchase that (damn) conditioner? He said "let me call AGAIN". I SAID "U NEVER CALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE" so u had me wait here for what???? Maybe u thought I was gonna wait for nothing and u hoped that maybe I would've lost my patience and leave???? So he picked up the phone and asked an employee to come out and helped me. Employee came out within a minute and apologized to me, I said don't apologize for someone's mistake, cuz it's not ur fault, that toothless old Asian guy who's not only missing half of his teeth, but is missing half of his brain is an unapologetic worthless employee that needs to get fired, he had me wait like a pendeja for some damn conditioner. I just taken photo passport photos here. I saw on walgreen website they have $2 off. I asked the white lady cashier at photo store. Can I apply for the code 6360 to get promotion? she seems that she didn't know and refused my offers. She gave me unprofessional customer services. After doing payment, I said thank you and goodbye to them. You know what she ignored me. Overall the bathroom was not clean. Did not have a good experience. The amount of graffiti and lack of cleanliness was repulsive. Decent toilet paper, but better paper is sold in store. Walgreens executives should consider pay cuts to provide a better quality paper for its customers. read more

When I picked up my prescriptions, the computers were "down". Was told to pay full price, bring back my receipt in 10 days and they would refund the difference for what my insurance covers. I came back in with all receipts in 7 days and was told they no longer had the info in their computer. Now, I am out $65.00 due to incompetence of their "childlike" pharmacy workers. I came in on April 24, 2017 to drop off a disposable camera to be developed. Susan who helped me, told me that it would be a week before it could be picked up since they do not develop disposable cameras at the store. Okay, no problem. Susan told me it would be ready for pickup in May 2, 2017 after 5pm. I went in today May 2, 2017 at 6pm to pick it up. First off they couldn't find my folder in the pickup box. They called in the shift leader of the store at that time to assist. Only for her to find my film sitting in a FedEx box still waiting to be shipped out!!! Her response was, "We wait till their are more disposable film cameras to be set out." Your kidding!!! Who knows how much longer that will take or when it will even be set out. Its bullshit it the first place when your employee tells you and hands you a slip saying this is the time and day it will be ready for pickup. Only to find that it has been sitting their for a whole week!! Pisa poor employee/customer service. If it was possible this store would get no stars!! Biggest bullshit I have heard today! I am a Crohn's Disease patient for 20 years, I have been a CUSTOMER for many years. The FDA and DEA recently changed the laws governing Hydrocodone. No problem, I have had MULTIPLE SURGERIES my last being a TOTAL PROCTOCOLECTOMY (They remove your large bowel and rectum and colon) I defecate in a bag now They did not tell me of this pending law and I had (1) more fill being that my surgeon prescribes 3 months worth! When I phoned in my re-fill I was directed by the recording to a pharmacist. He informed me of the new law no problem. I asked why did your company inform me and I would (slip of paper in my prescription etc.) I would call on my doctor and make preparations for this new law! This law now states that only hydrocodone patients cannot receive multiple fills nor the doctor cannot call it in anymore, you have to have a hard copy and it is only valid for 30 days. I now have been without meds for 3 days now! How thoughtful of Walgreen's to communicate with their customers! I called today and the pharmacist says now that we had the notices on our counter, I said I use your drive through service why could one of your Pharmacy Tech's enclose that notice when I had made 2 previous visits in the drive through! I called my companies medical provider Express Scripts and they said no problem, and in Nevada you can receive 3 months worth regardless of the new law Walgreen's did not even tell me that nor did the Pharmacist say we have a mailing service that would assist you better! I now am taking ALL OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS including my spouse's to Express Scripts! By the time I get an appointment with the doctor for this new law and I am one of many in his practice it will take a couple of weeks. The prescription cannot be called in nor faxed it has to be MAILED IN! Thank-You Walgreen's for your cooperation and informing a disabled patient of this new law! I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WALGREEN'S AGAIN! read more
