Prescription refill is always late, EVERY SINGLE TIME, for both people in my household. What we have been always getting a 90-day supply somehow can only be filled here as a 30-day supply. Using insurance as an excuse even though for over a decade I was able to get the meds in 90-day supply. We were told prescriptions are being shipped or it is 4 days out when they are clearly in stock at the pharmacy because when pressed, they were able to filled it within 30 minutes. There was always only one person working there, knowing for a fact there aren't any other Walgreens west of this location, resulting is constant long wait and lines. One time the staff even refused to use the second pickup lane with the vacuum tube! They are beyond ridiculous with the poor service. read more

First, the female pharmacist I spoke with was extremely rude. She answered the phone, then acted irritated when I asked questions, telling me she had to put me on hold because she was reviewing an order and couldn't talk--so why answer the phone in the first place? Second, I received a call saying the medication was out of stock, but it wasn't until I followed up two days later that I was told they would place an order. If I hadn't called, would it have just been left unaddressed? Overall, the experience was disappointing. I was at a meeting in the area of this Walgreens location so I decided to schedule my 5th Covid vaccine! I booked it for noon but I was done earlier so I was here by 11:33am. After booking my appointment I read previous reviews for this location and kind of got scared. Well I went in with positive vibes! I went to the window that says vaccines check in. The lady standing near was "kind of rude" just saying next window. Well this window has the sign. She walked away and grabbed a sign for "next window" and it sounded like she threw it there. Ok.. I'm still keeping my positive vibe. Next window I spoke with the person in charge, not sure if they are doctors or manager, Rabia S. Initially I thought she was too raw, if I can say. I smiled, I say yes mam, thank you and she checked me in, all good. I think my positive vibe won! Then I briefly spoke with Aisha. It was like she brought the courtesy, kindness, love. Thank you girl. I finished my check in, papers and was told to wait. That was no problem, my appointment was actually for noon. While I was waiting other people were complaining, yelling at staff, etc. I kind of told this gentleman, everyone is waiting. Let's not take it upon the staff. They are doing their job the best they can. I sat down and tried to be funny with those getting their shots. They were in the room for not even one minute. I continued to be funny asking "did it hurt"? At the end I made lots of people laugh. When it was my turn Amal was very nice, greeting and quick with vaccine. Thank you. She did not review side effects or what do or not do after vax but it's ok, she should know by now right? So this is what I practice every day. When you can't find nice people out here, be one! This world is getting full of impatient people, everything has to be done immediately, some of us are losing kindness, courtesy, etc. let's be kind. Let's be nice and keep a positive vibe no matter what. Ok reviewing the business: I didn't see dirty floors like some previous reviews. The gentleman at the pharmacy cashier when you first get in looks like he was at the moon. Did not greet anyone in or out store. I did see a bag of trash by the clinic door. If you had the time to replace the garbage bag why not take it out immediately. I think it says at lot to leave garbage where you expect an area to be extremely cleaned. Some will say Life is hard these days .. but life is what and how you make it. Come to work and do your best and make a difference to those you serve. And those that come for service, do your part, don't be rude, wait, your turn will come. Say thank you! The neighborhood Walgreens I come to more than once a week. I use for everyday goods, not my pharmacy. A few months ago I would have given it 1-2 stars for staffing/service reasons, but that seems to be a transition in a difficult labor market. Now their staff is typically available and friendly, especially during the day. You can find good pricing on some items and slightly inflated on others. It works for what you need. read more

Classic case of "why can't I give zero stars?" Understaffed, ridiculous hours, closed for a "meal break," and always seem to be "waiting for a shipment," unless you tell them that your medication is emergent. Then, miraculously "it will be ready in 30-minutes." What on earth is going on here? How is this place still in business? Someone call the Walgreens police!This is the closest pharmacy to our home in Summerlin North. No matter the prescription being filled, this location always manages to disappoint in one way or another. There only ever seems to be one person on staff at any given time. If you go inside, it takes forever because they are managing the drive thru. If you go through the drive thru, they take forever because they are managing the line inside. When you call to attempt to manage your Rx over the phone, you must deal with the automated bot who never hears your birthday correctly, so you had better have your Rx in front of you to rattle off the 12-digit prescription number. When you finally convince the AI dominatrix to put a human on the phone, you're never fewer than 5th place in line. When you finally break through to a live pharmacist they inform you that the prescription you called in 5 days ago to fill and were told by the robot that it would be "available by 10:30am tomorrow" will not be ready until next Monday (8 days after you called it in). Then you complain, tell them that your life depends on it, and somehow they can fill it within 30 minutes. Perhaps the staff are sampling too much of the product...or not enough? read more

I've been coming here and they've been good so far but I had a prescription delayed saying it'll be ready Thursday 4/11 due to insurance. That's ok. Out of their control. But it's been a week and I have not received any updates. Checked today and it said I have no pending prescriptions?? What happened? I did not receive notice of it being cancelled or that it was ready or anything. Tried calling to figure it out. The auto responses weren't helping so I asked to speak to someone. This pharmacy has the worst customer service. Totally unacceptable wait times on the phone or when you go to pick up your prescriptions. This Walgreens is in a highly populated senior area and makes it difficult when having to wait so long in a line for prescriptions. I have been told several times its "Management". This is an insanely busy location, but on this visit everything went pretty smoothly. I had a scheduled appointment for my second Covid vaccination, for a week later. But Walgreens' system kept bombarding me with automated messages. First was an email, urging me to schedule my second appointment. I called the store, and after eons on hold, they confirmed my appointment for when it was supposed to be. But then I got a text message, urging the same thing. This time when I called, they said they had extra doses, did I want to come in right away? This would make it right on time, according to the CDC recommendations. Of course I did, and hopped right in the car! Once there, I had to wait for a few people ahead of me to get their shots, and fill out the same paperwork I'd done the first time. While doing this, they kept making announcements urging people in the store to come get a shot. They probably had extra doses because their system keeps screwing people up. Once I got mine, I asked the pharmacist if she would cancel my later appointment, to free it up for someone else. She merely shrugged it off. That's probably why they end up with extra that they'll have to trash if not used. I'm grateful that they have a dedicated little room with a door for people to have some privacy. Before I had to switch health plans I was using CVS. They used to have a screen off to the side of the pick-up counter. But after they remodeled, that screen was right smack in the middle of the store, right where people would sit to wait for scripts to be filled. What if you had to take your shirt off to take a shot? Guys wouldn't care, but women sure did. It's too bad that that the store and the company can't get their act together and coordinate the administration of the vaccine. And my advice to anyone looking for the vaccine for themselves or a loved one: call Walgreen's later in the afternoon. You might get lucky! I don't shop at Walgreens, and I get meds through mail order. But looking at the prices of things on my way out, I was blown away by the insanely high prices of the stuff they sell. That's why their main competitor, also with a W, is so successful, even though they're hated by so many, including me. read more

Ive been a customer for 35 years, over the last year between erratic hours and the pharmacist at the felecita store being unhelpful and rude I am contemplating switching to CVS. I really hope that with the new ownership shift. Steps will be taken to improve the store and customer service. I would be happy to help. Replacing the pharmacist would go along way. Husband went for a pack of cigarettes. There was a lady waiting at the register. They waited for about 8 minutes before my husband went looking for someone to help. The only person was a tatted up lady eating her lunch. finally she went to help. Hubby asked 4 2 packs of 120's She gave him regular which he noticed when he got in the car. he went back in and she was back at lunch. told him he couldn't return. Do NOT use this pharmacy. About a year ago, I had picked up a prescription that was supposed to be a 90 day supply.. I soon realized they had only given me a 30 day supply. I call them, was on hold for 30 mins +, and got told they need to check the cameras because I was "selling" or using the pills incorrectly. After about a week of waiting, they never got back to me after I called for several days, multiple times a day regarding my prescription. I go in person to ask them about it and the girl was very rude, handed it to me, and didn't even bother apologizing for the inconvenience. They had it ready the whole time. Fast forward to today, 3/14/24. I go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription at 12pm, waited in line for 35 minutes and ended up walking out due to having to go back to my job. I come back at 5pm and am waiting in line for about 10 minutes before someone came up. The young man that was working the drive thru asked his coworkers if anyone was helping the front and the African American girl laughed and said no. Then my prescription wasn't ready - but no big deal because the lady that helped me was very nice and respectful. I was told 10 minutes my prescription would be ready - ended up waiting 30 minutes. They also are NEVER on time with their prescriptions. You can't get ahold of anyone on the phone. They don't take their job seriously which is sad considering this is for peoples HEALTH. Review for pharmacy only! It used to be standard to take about 15 minutes to pick up your prescriptions. The line was usually about three people long. In the last six months, it has taken 25+ minutes to pick up my prescriptions on a monthly basis. The amount of people waiting in line varies from 5 to 7. The pharmacy is shortstaffed. Walgreens knows that it is shortstaffed... And it's been this way for half a year. Now they seem to be filling everything out of pharmacy, including urgently medically necessary medication. Walgreens took over three days to fill a medication prescribed to treat an acute issue that required immediate medication. We have switched to a different pharmacy in the area. One of the worst managed stores. I routinely see people walking out disgusted after waiting and still not getting taken care of. When you have 5 people working in the back try and handle customers waiting in line. Service novel idea. Same goes for drive through. If there is an issue tell them they need to come in the store so there's not six cars waiting in line for 1/2 an hour. read more

The Walgreens at Lake Mead and Del Web in Summerlin is the worst run store I have ever experienced as a consumer in 52 years. They cannot seem to manage to complete the most basic of transactions with a customer but are exceed at offering explanations about how their store and company is run. I have not talked to ONE Walgreens employee at the store, online, or at customer service that can do anything other than telling me how difficult their job is and how Walgreens functions as a company. The person that manages this store at Lake Mead and Del Web should be demoted and sent back to training IMMEDIATELY and the person and team at the corporate office that is responsible for the customer experience should be examined, restructured and give new leadership as soon as possible. Lesson #1 should be "Who is the customer and how do we serve them?" Lesson #2 "The customer doesn't care about the Walgreens Corporate structure and struggles." They lie and would prefer the customer return 3 times for one prescription (which I still don't have). They lie and tell you they called the dr which they did not. My 2 online orders were shipped to this location and the first one got misplaced and so I bought the first item at another store. The second item took them 10 minutes to find. There is no in store signing as to where to pick up online orders shipped there. Pharmacy? Photo? other? A needless time waster. You have to track the Fedex number because Walgreens does not give you a courtesy text and the email alert arrives about 5 days after it arrives at the store. If I could give a zero for pharmacy i would. Staff is slow at placing orders. I was asked multiple times at the window to come back within 10-15 mins and/or to go to the back of the line and my prescription would be ready by then. I did both then finally gave up and drove home (I live 10 minutes down the street) by the time I got home I received a notification saying that my order was ready -_-. Today I came by to pickup a prescription (after I had received a notification saying that it was ready for pickup). The lady at the window had a problem billing both insurances. Instead of finishing my order and explaining why, she asked me to come in because a line was forming. I am 7 months pregnant and have a baby with me in which I had to carry him into the store with me. read more

Enough is enough. Way too many times scripts were not ready when promised or flat out mistakes. Go to ANYWHERE but this location. Dropped three scripts off yesterday morning . Went today after 1:30 and only two of three ready. When dropped off, I was told all were in stock. At pickup I was told to wait 20 minutes and she'd put a rush on it. Only here is 27+ hours a rush. Totally avoidable long lines-- ALWAYS. Sun City volume and poor staff (even the continuous stream of new employee faces) means you will waste your time. This Walgreens needs a major overhaul. Floors are filthy, signs falling down, faded and dirty. Parking lot & landscape is not being maintained. Pharmacy is understaffed and not friendly or very helpful. The pharmacy website is outdated and is not reliable most of the time. They email that your prescription is being filled several times, then only to send another that you have no refills and to call your Dr. I went into a CVS store. Zero Star Rating. Multiple issues over the course of 3 years. A couple of examples..... They blamed their system for deleting/canceling a prescription ...Twice!!!! They had a prescription on hold, they know the date it needs to be filled, yet were out of the prescription drug and had I had to wait two more days for supply , so that's two days without being able to take the medication. Most of the time when I call, when they finally answer the phone they immediately put it back on hold without saying anything....not even a "I'll be with you in a moment". Most calls you're on hold for at least 1 hour. I have to say that most everyone is so nice so I feel bad for how busy they are. It's the corporate leaderships fault, and the passiveness of the local management for not pushing for more help. I have multiple choices for pharmacies on my insurance, and I think it might be time to look at the locally owned pharmacies to see how their service is. read more

Worst customer service ever. Went to pick up my prescription via drive thru. Pharmacist named Myesha informed my I owe $207. I showed the invoice that my doctor sent that I pay only $40. I then informed her that per Walgreens notification line I was to pay $40. She went on to say that my insurance paid a small amount but insisted I pay $207 and that the system has rejected my claim. Upset, I drove off and contacted my insurance who confirmed my co-pay was only $40. 2 hours later I get another phone that my medication is ready and the I owe is $40. I return to Walgreens and indeed they confirmed the correct amount. When I inquired what was issue during my initial visit, same "Pharmacist " approach the counter stated that she was "fixed" the problem but I drove off and had an attitude problem. I informed her she gave no indication she was working to resolve the problem and her response was nothing but, "You still owe $207!" which I refused to pay. She responded that I am either blind or I am a liar. When I asked for her manager, she replied that her manager will be in tomorrow and she will be here too in a threatening tone. Such a joke. I scheduled my flu shot for my lunch break at 12:15. I arrived 5 minutes early. They treated me as though I was invisible for 5 minutes, before checking me in. I waited 20 minutes with no customers and plenty of staff. I went up and asked how long it was going to take. The girl said "did you fill out your paperwork?" Obviously yes, I did it online and have already been checked in. Then she proceeds to ask around for who is doing the shots today. A pharmacist said she was. So if I hadn't have gone up after waiting 20 minutes I would still be waiting. Thankfully, the shot was easy and painless, but the service here is awful, as are most Walgreens in this area. read more

The store is clean and nicely located, but my issue is with the pharmacy. I will stop going here after today. 5/31/18 My prescriptions are never ready after I receive a text stating that they are. I submitted 3 prescriptions and they only could find 2 of them. I received a call today asking if I was going to pick up my prescriptions. I asked how many are ready, she said 2.
