I have very mixed opinions about this Walgreens location. Sometimes you can go and it's a good experience and sometimes you can go and it's not so great. I frequent this location because it is close to my work and I'm always on a hunt for great deals and steals on everyday necessities and grocery items. As a customer, I'd recommend coming here during late mornings or afternoon hours. I usually get A+ customer service during those hours. I find that the employees are much more patient and understanding and they're willing to work with you if there's a particular way you'd like a transaction to be done. If you're coming in the late afternoon/evening hours...not so much. There's been a couple occasions that I haven't felt valued as a customer and rushed. Luckily, I'm a bit more understanding in certain instances but regardless I'd still like to be treated pike a valuable customer. I've had a couple of instances where I've also had issues with their digital coupons not being accepted and having to do lots of back and forth between manager and sales associate. However, they have ALWAYS found a solution to all of my problems and concerns (whether it took 2 minutes or 30 minutes and whether I "bothered" them or not). (This part is based on Walgreens in general).If you're not already signed up to receive Walgreens rewards on your purchases then I'd 100% recommend signing up. You can accrue rewards to redeem on purchases always check your emails because their photo center always offers some great deals as well. On more than one occasion now, I've gone to pick up medication just to be told they didn't get it in. No communication from the pharmacy until I was at the counter. I am physically ill without the medicine and have already missed work last month because I was without it when they didn't have it. Horrible experience with this location. David who was the store manager was extremely rude. Waited upwards of 30 minutes on balloons. Ignored me and walked away when I tried to talk to him. Then no one up front was able to assist this other man in line which resulted in a 15 minute wait for people in line. No communication in this store and very unhelpful. I've been using this pharmacy for a long time but had to change to Costco since the prices were significantly different. They shouldn't be since I have insurance but my MD had put me on a medication that is apparently $1100 for a month at Walgreens with insurance but only $150 for a month at Costco Pharmacy with insurance and membership. Yes I do have Costco membership but between $150 and $1100, that is a huge difference and it makes me wonder if the people at the register are misinformed regarding the prices. It took me two different tries with two different people at the register. Same high price. So I tried Costco and I didn't have any problems. I prefer this Walgreens because the location is convenient but the price isn't worth it. read more

Walgreens can be hit or miss, however, I did want to report that I had a great customer service experience today on 10/30/25 (12:30pm) from Brandon at the 6485 S. Fort Apache pharmacy location. I went there directly after having a rough go at store #10215 off Warm Springs 15 min earlier, they definitely made up for it by successfully transferring my Rx to that Ft. Apache location. I normally visit this location since it's super close to my house. Today I went in for passport photos for my kids. The cashier had just gone on break and the person working in photo was filling in. We pushed the assistance button 4 times and we waited for 5 minutes before anyone came up. Someone came up and said it would be a little while. The person that normally works in the photo department said she was going to start with us since there weren't many people in the store. The manager told her she needed to wait up front. We were paying customers also and I didn't think that was good customer service, especially since there might have been 1 other person in the entire store. We were going to have to wait for the pictures to be printed so would have been in that store for a while! Avoid this place!!! My doctor send prescription around 11 am on weekend. I waited until 3 pm for them to give me a call and tell me that my prescription is ready. They never gave me a call. I started to call them at 3 pm since I know they are closing at 6 on weekends. I couldn't get anyone to talk to. So around 4 pm I went to Walgreens. Very rude sales associate at Pharmacy Michelle, told me that my medicine is not ready due to insurance issue. I asked why didn't you call me in that case. I told her that I have very sick kid at home who needs a medicine and she told me THAT IS NOT MY BUSSINES!!!! I was so pissed but I didn't want to argue since my kid needed that medicine. After half on hour on the counter she told me that I need to pay 100$ for two medicine since my insurance didn't cover.. I tried to tell her that my other kid get the same medicine two days ago at no cost. She didn't want to listen to me. I insist to check my other kid insurance (since they both have same insurance). After a while she offer me a coupon for discount, I agreed since my kid was super sick. I paid like 50$ with discount. Tomorrow I called my insurance and they told me they have wrong date of birth for my kid and wrong code. I was so angry Tomorrow I went there and tell another sales person what was the issue. He realized right away what was the problem and told me to come tomorrow for my refund. read more

This place used to have the fastest most efficient pharmacy but it seems in the last few months they have made a concerted effort to absolutely waste as much of your time as possible. The employees actually love to make you wait in line then lie to you and tell you we just received the order and your medication won't be ready until tomorrow, even if your Dr. sent the order 6 hours previously. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs unless you have plenty of spare time to waste. read more

Quick and easy covid-19 vaccine shit this morning. Made a reservation online & brought me pre filled out paperwork so I was prepared. I got right back in to get my shot in a private room within 5-10 min. The tech who administered the Vaccine shot was good and quick/professional. You were told to sit and wait for 15 minutes to make sure you did not have any bad reaction to the shot. Pretty simple fast experience. Tried to buy a couple drinks on the way out to hydrate myself after the shot but the lone was SO long I out it all back and just left. They def need to work on faster cashiers but that's about it. read more

Worst Walgreens experience ever. After being a customer for over a decade, purchasing all prescriptions, necessities and odds and ends at a nearby Walgreens, Im disgusted and done. Edit...I just did the math and its been TWO decades. Thanks to Sunset and Ft Apache store in SW Las Vegas, this loyal customer has left the building. No baskets, garbage and stock everywhere and when i asked for something to put the many items I was going to buy, I was rudely told that they arent giving anything, because "you guys" keep stealing the baskets. two employees and they both turned away from me and started talking to each other again. I then called the phone number on the door and got a manager at another location. Might as well have been talking to a wall. I just got done at the nearby CVS, spent over 100.00, as I do several times a month and I am officially over the walgreens heartbreak/headache. CVS has everything but tobacco, but as an ex smoker, I can also tell you that Walgreens charges high for smokes. Get them somewhere else. Now off to put my CVS haul away! I literally stood in line for about 30 minutes with an appointment for them to tell me they do not see me in the system. Also, I had my email with my confirmation code and everything. The pharmacy at this walgreens is the most unprofessional and ridiculous pharmacy ive used. I went through the drive thru an hour after a prescription was sent and was told "it's not ready and they aren't giving times. It will be this afternoon, hopefully. Just leave and we will text you when it's ready". I went home and then decided to call and big surprise, the pharmacy also wasn't answering the phones. When I went back in person inside the employees were doing everything except getting medications ready, phones were ringing, and the only person that was actually helpful was the pharmacy student who isn't even an employee. It is crystal clear the pharmacists and techs who work here have no concern for providing quality healthcare, which is why they work in retail pharmacy and not (thank christ) a hospital setting. BEWARE WITH GETTING A COVID TEST HERE!!! They do not secure your swab in any kind of pouch. I have gotten tested a few times between 3 other Walgreens locations during the pandemic and the others provided a plastic or paper pouch every time through the drive through AND label it for the patient to see (this applies to the PCR tests that go to a lab AND the Rapid antigen tests that they do on site). My husband went here before and he said they labeled it in pencil but this time mine was definitely not. I even said something and the tech acknowledged it... i think it was a slip up. He said he will label it when i hand it back in the tray but it should have been labeled PRIOR for me to see. Why this location not careful? Should be the same protocols across all stores that provide testing and every single time. Especially for something like this! The handling done here creates an opportunity for cross-contamination or mixed up test samples too. Im not sure if it was just the staff shift I had not following protocol... someone new not being careful? I dont know but management needs to look into this to ensure this isn't repeated for anyone else. read more

The young people at the pharmacy need some oversight. The girl who "assisted" my son and I today for his COVID shot appointment was beyond apathetic, didn't seem to understand the difference between an appointment and a reservation and more importantly, didn't seem to care. The indifference to people's time is getting more and more recognizable, it doesn't only happen at the dr anymore, it's everywhere. She proceeded to speak as quietly as possible even after me explaining that I couldn't hear her, she almost seemed pleased. She also told me to not "toss" equipment or I'd have to leave; Call me ignorant, but for me to toss something requires me to pick something up. It is nearly impossible to ever get through to the pharmacy. No matter what time you call, they will continuously put you on hold and then eventually just hang up on you. This is not just a one time thing-it happens all the time, and is quite comical/ridiculous. I have talked to leadership at Walgreens and they have told me that this is how the phone system works. If nobody picks up within a certain amount of time, the customer gets automatically hung up on. I am not sure whose idea this was to implement, but this has to be the most ridiculous, and disrespectful way to handle your customers just trying to fill prescriptions. Does someone honestly expect people to just happily wait on hold for 10-15 minutes, get hung up on, and then keep on doing it all over again? It's quite clear that instead of them hiring more staff to help customers fill prescriptions, they have decided instead to take no calls, hang up on customers, and hope that they just go away to another pharmacy. It is so obvious that the people working in this pharmacy can't handle stress and phone calls. The easy way for them is to just hang up on the "PAYING CUSTOMERS" that makes it possible for them to get paid in the first place. Just read the reviews, this has been happening for months and months. Save yourself some grief, and fill your prescriptions elsewhere or online. Decided to drive in while on hold still, just to see employees not doing anything no long line of customers in store only 1 customer while having 2-3 people working in back yall are ridiculous. Phramacy is god awful. they told me at first needed to order the medication, and also that i needed my doctor's authorization. they order it and told me they sent out something to my insurance/doctor to get authorization. it was supposed to be here on the following Monday. I got a call the day before on Saturday saying medication is ready for pick up on Monday, i got an voicemail mail for a Donna. i unfortunately dont have much time to go out of my way to pickup medication but i was able to finally go and get it on today (thursdays). i have now been off my epilepsy medication for 4 days now so i really needed it tonight because i dont wanna have an episode. I go into the pharmacy and apparently they never got the authorization even tho they said on Saturday it was all good and ready for pickup?? So now i have to most likely wait till next monday to pick it up leaving me off medication for a full week. the workers looked at me like i was insane because i was upset they never notified me of any problems when i could of just called WAYYY sooner in the week to make sure i wont go to long without my medication.i don't really get that mad unless things affect me physically and this is my health. i just do not understand why it's hard trying to get medication for stuff that literally impacts my health. especially when the problem was just miscommunication on your guys end, i wouldn't gotten this fixed days ago read more

Listening to music and when my I finally reach my turn in the queue, I can literally hear the staff typing but not saying anything only to put me on hold again! This is happening over and over! So I should've wrote this review 2 months ago but after today's experience I'm here. So first let me start with I live in this neighborhood I go to this Walgreens frequently. So let me start with first I had a lot of change that I needed to get rid of to put the money on my card I sent my kids to the store to see if they can do it they told him that the change needs to be wrapped up so they came back home we coin wrap them So they went back to Walgreens and the manager the white guy tells them that they cannot accept this even after they told them that if they wrap it they can except it. The kids came back I've been left my job to walk up there to talk to the manager and then he gave me the money for the coin. On where she could have done that the first time but since my boys were teenagers he throws some type of way he told him no. I go in today to receive $100 Western Union put all my information in proceed to the register like it tells me and then they tell me all we don't have any money and we can only give you $70. So I then had to go to a different Western Union to pick up my money and we're still has no sign on the door saying that Western Union did not work and employee walk past me while I'm on there doing Western Union and an attempt to say anything to me yeah this Walgreens is a no. Worst pharmacy in the city. They will lose your prescriptions, the day pharmacist will not let you speak. They will not alert you or your doctors office that a medication needs a prior authorization until the day it is due-which can take up to a month to get. They have illegally made me call other Walgreens inquiring about inventory for a year until someone else alerted me that that is an illegal practice. I am now 72 hours without my medication and it is still not been filled because of their error. If you use this pharmacy if it is an absolutely emergency, only go at night. That is the only time the staff is competent. I am about to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this exact location, my insurance and my doctors office or baffled at their behavior read more

Not sure why it would take 45 mins to process 4 customers but I was at the window at 130 only for the pharm tech to tell me that they're closed for a lunch break.
