The ONLY good thing I have to say about this pharmacy is the pharmacist with purple hair was helpful. All of the other staff is absolutely terrible. I waited in the drive thru for 31 minutes before I got to the front. Let the record show I was only 3rd in line! Then after waiting for 31 minutes for my turn, nobody even acknowledged me sitting there at the window for another 7 minutes. 3 technicians were inside!! I rang the bell for the second time and someone picked up the phone said be with you in a moment then hung up before I could say anything. Finally someone came to the window, asked how to help me walked away and cane back with my prescription and set it on the counter. I waited another 3 minutes before she put the prescription in the delivery door and gave it to me. No other words were ever said to me. Just that very 1st "how can I help you?"..... Obviously everyone at this location is miserable and all of the locations are just horrible in their efficiency. I will be switching my pharmacy and will never return to another Walgreens. read more

Easily the slowest Walgreens drive-thru EVER, but who cares when it's only 107 degrees outside and you have a line of five cars waiting for you, right? LOL. Waited about 25 minutes and we didn't go inside because the point of a drive-thru is for when you're in a hurry and/or have someone sick in the car with you that can't go in or be left alone and/or whatever else. You are in a pharmacy drive-thru after all. Anyway, the lines inside are also VERY long but then again this store is located in a touristy part of town - you're down the street from the strip, The Orleans, etc. But just a tip - you can pay at the cosmetics counter, and if there's no one there, you can ask for someone. : ) Also, if you're in the medicine aisle, there's usually someone there to help you find whatever you need and give you suggestions on medication/treatments. I went to this Walgreens for the first time for my first COVID shot. I need to use a walker due to health conditions, and I am currently recovering from surgery. My caretaker and I proceeded to the back of the store to the Vaccine Check-In Station. I was only about 10 steps away from the window when a group of 5-6 young Asian tourists breezed past me and my caretaker and proceed to the window. Needless to say, I had to wait because the Walgreens staff person started checking in this group all at once. I doubted very much they all had a scheduled appointment at the same time as I did. They blocked the window filling out their forms...no one else could get access to the window. Staff never even came out to check and see who WAS waiting that already had an appointment. I waited half an hour past my appointment time just to get up to the window and check in. After I turned my form in, I proceeded to walk down to the pharmacy area and wait for my shot. Of course, I (and all those with scheduled appointments after me) had to wait for this group of tourists to go in together and get their shots first. As we waited and waited, we heard much laughter coming from inside, which really didn't help matters. I ended up getting my shot - one hour and 25 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time. If that wasn't an experience in and of itself, I decided to do some quick shopping after I got my shot. My caretaker asked if I needed a shopping cart, and I said "Yes". She couldn't find a single one - so she asked the staff at the checkout counter. They said they stopped providing carts and/or handbaskets because people were stealing them. REALLY? ?? How is a person supposed to do any shopping? I ended up using the seat of my walker to carry some of my items. Then the checkout staff person asked me if I wanted a bag! When I have Store Managers apologizing for this "blatant lie," what does that say? 2 DAYS is all it takes outside their normal week order. For ANY drug, narcotics included. Don't let them lie to you and tell you narcotics takes 2 weeks. It doesn't. I work next door to this store. I attempted to transfer over $600/month in prescriptions here from the Ft Apache/Sunset store because I am tired of driving so far to get my meds each month during my lunch break. THIS "2 week order" lie cost them guaranteed income. Just like the Silverado Ranch pharmacy, I lodged a complaint with Walgreens corporate. They will call for details & forward to the store manager who will call to "fix" things. FIRE all the rude unhelpful people working in your stores & give those jobs to people who are grateful for one & actually want to work. That's how you FIX it. I have been with Walgreens my whole life... In LA no problem.. So I switched over my meds... I have a herniated disc... I needed the pharmacy to answer the phone, or call my DR. Woman on the phone refused to call my Dr. and refused to take the call.. I asked for er manager and she said no and hung up on me more than once. She would not give me her name and at this point I had to move my Rx's to a different pharmacy.. She/they have NO CARE or concern for the pain of a customer. I went back later thru the drive thru to complain to a manager because I still cant walk at this point... They pretended that they could not possibly know who answered the phone at 8:45am.. Aren't they on a schedule? Couldn't they look at it? I asked one more time to speak to the manager/pharmacist/Doctor... He hid behind the wall and the woman gave me his business card. They said they had "floaters" and there is no way to know who they are... What does this mean? They have no idea who is working behind the counter dispensing meds? Doesn't sound safe. Even the prostitutes and strippers in this town are all accounted for with sheriffs cards, work permits, and fingerprints for God's sake! Just HOW do you NOT know who was on the AM shift??? I asked for drops instead of ointment due to needing to wear make up for work. She then decided to yell at me about how I can't wear make up. I used to go to the 24 hr Walgreens but i came back to this one because they're much nicer to me. You see, i have to take pain medication for my spinal problems. I have had 6 spinal surgeries, 1 fusion & other numerous surgical procedures. This Walgreens is the only pharmacy in town that has never judged me or looked at me like i was a "opiate" drug addict! I really HATE the way pharmacy clerks treat you or look at you just because you need pain medication to live a quality of life that normal people take for granted. It's true, a lot of people do over use medication & I know people that have become drug addicts because of this. But, with knowledge & my doctor not over prescribing me throughout my adult life thank goodness I didn't have this problem. I use my best judgement & manage my chronic pain without over use. It's part pain management & also being an adult, not going overboard. Anyway, I appreciate the good folks of the Walgreens pharmacy. They're always under pressure from the customers. They're always so busy but, they do try to help us & do their best to get our prescriptions out as fast as they can. I have seen them being trolled by unbelievably rude people not understanding that they have nothing to do with their health insurance plan not covering their medications or the cost of it. And also people yelling at them because their Doctor hasn't called the pharmacy tech back, like they have any control of the situation. And yet, the techs have kept their cool. Store is open 24 hours but the photo lab is not. I just wanted to drop some film off to be developed since they mail it out I don't see how this is a problem. Employees wanted me to leave my film with no information or anything and I said I wasn't going to do that because I didn't want my film to go missing. Employees acted like that was an issue and wanted me to come back at 10am which is not going to happen. So few stores develop film anymore and I drove over here after work just for this. How on earth this particular pharmacy at this Walgreens stays in business. They have no idea what customer service is. Everytime we fill a prescription there is always a problem. They either don't have enough even though they are aware we need it every month; you wait a minimum of 45 minutes or more even if they are not busy. Even the doctor wrote the prescription and they have been filling it for months you can get an intern or pharmacist assistant asking why do you need the drugs and why so many. Frankly little person, you are very much out of your place on this question and you have crossed over the line. You have no right to ask, period. An average review for an average Walgreen's. They have the same stock you'd expect from most convenience store/pharmacy outfits, down to the discount umbrellas and cheap toy aisle. The staff isn't unpleasant, but neither are they overly engaging and sometimes they'll just pass on by when someone's looking confused or searching for something. They're always willing to help when you ask, or whenever you manage to find someone to query, but they don't take the initiative in their customer service and that's what would set this location apart from others. read more

Only thing good about this Walgreens is that it's open 24 hours. All their prices are higher than all the other Walgreens. The Manager says it's because they are considered a "strip" location. They have to be at least 4-5 mile from the strip. There is already a location that's actually on the strip, now I can understand that location having higher prices. I came in looking for an aux cord and they are in secure glass shelfs. I came in asking for assistance so i can get one, i was told i was going to get helped we waiting about 10 minutes and we didn't get helped by no one. Then, a lady with a short men haircut (blonde) and i asked her if she can help me she answer in such a rude way. Another customer that saw what happened told me" thats Fuc*** up" and nodded his head. He rapidly told me "that is not the right way to speak to a customer" she was not nice at all. Then, i rushed to the register and there was another lady i asked her if i could get helped waited for another 10 more minutes and was not helped either. The photo department are idiots. Their passport photos are crap. Don't waste your time. I bought my passport photos at another Walgreens but needed more for some international competition forms. Did them myself and sent them to be printed at this location. Received an email saying they were ready for pickup. But when I got there they couldn't find my order. Why? Because supposedly according to their policy they are not allowed to print "passport photos". So maybe they should NOT email a notice to pick up order. MAYBE they should call the customer to let them know the situation. THEN I could tell you THEY ARE NOT FOR PASSPORTS!! AND I made them myself so I hold the copyright and should be able to print as many as I want of MY photos. By the way, this supposed policy isn't listed ANYWHERE on their site. The best part of this shopping experience was the man working the front counter. He was very upbeat and friendly, despite it being so late into the night.
