This is by far the slowest and most disorganised pharmacy I have ever dealt with. It is a ramb mess every single time we come here. The ONLY reason we keep our scripts here is because they are the closest 24-7 pharmacy near us and sometimes we have crazy hours and need to be able to pick up our prescriptions at all times. Honestly, they would benefit from a complete overhaul. Half their staff at the pharmacy here has no idea what they're doing. There are times when you just really need a grocery or drugstore that's open 24 hours, and this was one of those times, New Year's Eve 10 minutes to midnight! Zak, the manager on duty was a HUGE help! If you've ever tried to get your healthcare plan's OTC allowance used up at the end of the year, you know what a hassle that can be! Especially when the company's servers are so backed up they crash, their app malfunctions, and you cannot get anyone by phone, you have no recourse, but go to a store and try to find some things you need...at the very last minute. The Walgreen's employees were great! This is certainly not the way I expected to ring in the new year, especially after spending 8 hours trying to accomplish what should have been an easy task, and was anything but, because United Healthcare sucks! read more

I came inside while my girlfriend was already buying some items from the beauty section of the store. I asked the checker if I could have an extra plastic grocery bag, as I was going to collect some things from my car. She handed me a bag with no issue. Almost immediately, I was charged at by a man working there, apparently in some sort of management position. He came at me swiftly and all but shouted, "NO! No No NO! You cannot have a bag! No!" He practically accused me of stealing; planning to use the bag to "gather stuff from the store," as he put it, basically accusing me of planning to steal from the store! He went on, repeating, " No! No No..." in a hostile and forceful way, and with an expression on his face that seemed to just dare me to try to get a bag. It was insulting. It was rude. It was uncalled for. If the store's policy is to not give someone a plastic bag, that's fine. But for this man to come at me with such an accusatory tone, and in an almost threatening way was truly outrageous. I have never stolen a single thing, and I have been coming to this Walgreens for years. Never have I visited there and been treated with utter disrespect. The date of my visit was Saturday night, May 3rd, 2025. I don't hope for this person to lose his job, but maybe he should be taught some basic manners and customer service etiquette. I did not appreciate being treated like a low life thief just because I asked for a plastic sack. Would I recommend this business? I posted "MAYBE" because I have never been treated this way at Walgreens before, and I expect that I will not be treated this way again. I'm all about giving a second chance, but I certainly hope I am not treated this way in the future. If so, then I won't be back. I'm happy to switch to the CVS just a block away. This Walgreens store is large, well stocked, open 24 hours, and in a prime location at 87th and Lackman in Lenexa. The employees are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, and many of them have worked at this store for several years. I especially love how passionate the makeup gals are about their products. They are absolutely willing to do everything they can to help their customers, including matching your skin color to help find the perfect shade of foundation. Sure it feels a little awkward to sit in a makeup chair at Walgreens but it's totally worth it. I also really like the health clinic at this Walgreens store. It's easy to make an appointment online, and the woman I've seen by over the past year is THE BEST. She's super sweet, and she really knows her stuff. I highly recommend paying her a visit the next time you have the sniffles. So happy to have this store close to my house. I always have a great experience when I pop in! read more

This Store is mis mangaged and the staff is very rude. They never help place you on hold and leave you holding for 25 minutes Then the store blames it on the call center! I told the pharmacist they have terriable service and Im going to my local Hyvee Where the Pharamcist are amazing and actually want to help you!! Hyvee cares about their truly customers health!! Beware of pharmacist "Mike"!!! Messed around for 2 days and spent many hours on the phone with Walgreens to get a prescription transferred there because it was back ordered and Hy-Vee didn't have it in stock. Finally went to Hy-Vee they said it had been transferred but Walgreens couldn't figure out where it went. So finally went into Walgreens and Mike called Hy-Vee and got it transferred while I waited. Then he decides he can't use use my discount card but will sell it to me for FULL PRICE ($500 more). So now I need to either transfer it back to Hy-Vee or to another pharmacy! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used and the only reason is because it's close to home. No matter what time of day you go thru the drive thru to pick up a script, it's always slow, service sucks!! I'll be transferring my prescriptions and business to another pharmacy. I wish I could choose a negative number. I have attempted three times to get my Shingles vaccine from the Walgreens on 87th Street in Lenexa. I first issue was that although I was allowed to schedule online. The staff had to inform me that they do not provide this service on the weekends, The pharmacist on duty at the time was exceptional. I had to wait however although she was extremely busy, she provided my request. The second time was June 24 at 7:30pm. Again I scheduled online believing that was acceptable. I arrived early and spoke to Saul. Saul explain that they did not provide this service after 5:30 pm weeknights. Saul stated that they thought the issue from before had been fixed. Yet again their system allowed me to schedule. The pharmacist was extremely busy so I offered to reschedule for the next Friday at 5pm. I arrived at my appointment time and was told rudely by the pharmacist on duty that the Shingles vaccine online documentation does not work like the COVID does. She stated that I would have to complete new forms and wait about 30 minutes after for my vaccine. She was incredibly rude and acted as though I intentionally ignored directions. Everyone is extremely stressed however I will NEVER step foot in an Walgreen's again. It is too bad this woman could not provide customer service that I deserved. read more

This is for the clinic only, I scheduled the night before for a 10:40am appointment. I was seen around 10:50am. The nurse was very kind and promptly told me she thought I needed to go to urgent care, I had pink eye but my eye was swollen shut and she was concerned it might be more serious. She gave us a list of the local urgent cares. Very helpful and professional. The check-in process was lengthy so if you don't feel well have someone go with you and do it. It is on a screen so it is easy just lots of questions. I had an ice pack on my eye when we arrived but it got warm so I asked the pharmacy tech for a plastic bag. Not only did she give me a bag to put it in but she gave me a fresh ice pack. Great service. read more

This is my favorite Walgreens for many reasons. The first being when my husband and I moved into our 1st place 13 years ago we noticed at midnight that there was no shower curtain in the apartment and we need to get one and we needed cleaning supplies. This was one of the only places that was 24 hours at the time where we could get everything we needed. 2nd they are fast. If you drop off a prescription they usually not always but usually they will have it ready in 30 minutes of less. Refills are easy to call in or have a doctor call one in. They will even call and request one for you. I know most pharmacy do this, but this one doesn't seem to mind doing it where others seem to be put out if you ask them to call for you. 3rd they actually have a good selection of cards, grocery stuff in a pinch, toys, and other misc. items. 4th they are friendly and don't mind checking in back for product you are looking for that seems to be out of stock. They will also give you rain checks without an argument. 5th the pharmacy is really good about checking allergies and interactions with other medications. Went to Clinic recently with a bug bite was diagnoised Celluatitus. Was told if not getting better to simply call, and he( Dr ) had a different med to try . So 2 days go by Not getting better, , actually getting worse so I called and was told New provider working , she did not see me will not give me somethingbetter cause she has never seen me , and to take over the counter antihistimine. This is your basic Walgreen's, but it's open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. I haven't had to use it yet late at night (thank God!) but it's good to know it's there in case of emergency. It's at 87th and Lackmann, and if they don't have what you're looking for there's a 24-hour CVS down 87th St. at Pflumm, so between the two of them you should be able to find just about anything you need! read more

First off, this location is open 24 hours making it highly convenient when all other places are closed. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The pharmacy is usually pretty busy, and the wait time is, for the most part, decent. They, too, will go the extra mile for the customer. The nurse practitioner and her assistants are pleasant as well. Overall, I'd go back and I'd recommend this location. read more

The cosmetics section is better than Sephora, seriously! Unlike most other drugstore cosmetics sections, they have samples of everything, and a clerk dedicated to that section. She helped me pick out some lip gloss and liner and gave me some tips, and then I walked over and bought other things I needed. Yay for anything that cuts down on the number of stops I have to make! The one thing that keeps me from buying cosmetics at the drugstore is that I can never pick out the right shades. Kudos to Walgreens for doing this. read more

Probably the worst service I've ever had at a pharmacy. Took almost 3 hrs just to get a vaccination and I ended up paying out of pocket for a medication my insurance company covers. The clinic was disorganized and not staffed well enough to avoid rediculously long waits. Needless to say, I will never use this pharmacy or clinic again and would strongly recommend others go down the street to CVS. read more

After using this pharmacy for 4 years due to the convenience of 24/7 service, they failed miserably tonite. We turned in a prescription at the counter inside and said we wanted to wait for it. We were told it would be 15-20 minutes and they would announce when it was ready. After browsing through the store for 15 minutes, we sat down in the seats in the pharmacy area. After waiting another 15 minutes there, the clerk asked for our name and the name of the other lady waiting. He called her up and said ours would be ready soon. Another 10 minutes passed and he called us up to tell us the directions on the prescription were not clear, so they couldn't fill it. When we pointed out it was a refill and the orders could be repeated, they would still not fill it...no apology for the extremely poor customer service of holding it 40 minutes before delivering that news. One employee at the pharmacy at 6:30? Seriously?! This is when people are getting home Walgreens... every time I come during this time there's only one or rarely 2 employees and they're trying to cover the walk ups and 2 drive thru lanes... no one would be able to do that all alone.
