What a joke. I go in to the pharmacy to get my antibiotics that I NEED and the young lady helping me responds with "well we close in 20 minutes" as in come back tomorrow. Seriously? Do you realize you are telling me to deal with an infection for another day because you don't want to help me? Had a coupon so went to check it out. Smaller than expected so they don't have the specific item I usually buy from the Pleasanton Walgreens. However, their sales prices on dental items, at the time of my visit, was outstanding. The staff was helpful and friendly and seemed happy to be there. I actually liked the smaller store because it gave more of a neighborhood store vibe and less of a big box impersonal store vibe. It was quick and easy to sign up for their discount program. This Walgreens is crap. I get my prescriptions refilled here and it's the worst monthly experience I've come to loath. I write this review as I sit here in the drive through pickup, it's been roughly 20 mins for them to serve 2 cars, and still counting. The experience inside is typically even worse, they can't keep the customers straight and move at a glacial pace. What's worse, is that they call you INCESSANTLY when your prescription is ready to pickup, and then couldn't care less when you come to get it. I think you need to hire a lot more pharm techs, or ones that know what they're doing. read more

who ever 'Luis' is he needs to be retrained! I picked up pictures I placed online. once I got to my car i checked the envelope and there were pictures of somebody else mixed with 10 of mine! I went back to returned them! also the cashier couldn't really do simple math. my total was 3.59 and gave her $5 and as I was searching for the 59 cents (to get $2 back) she was giving me change back. when it was $2!!!!! she had no idea what to do and all she said was "im sorry i already did it this way" like really... never again! read more

The employees at this store in the pharmacy have no customer relation skills Walgreens obviously does not train their employees they are rude, very sarcastic and talk degrading to their customers. They think they have more knowledge than our Doctors and always over ride what our Doctors prescribe what the hell is that all about. Obviously have a root problem that starts at the top. Safeway had been my preferred local pharmacy for years until my Medicare Part D plan indicated that Walgreens would be their preferred pharmacy. I had already been finding the Safeway pharmacy unresponsive, experiencing long wait times to get orders filled even when a doctor's office faxed a prescription with plenty of time to spare. Then I noticed the pharmacy staff who had provided me great service over the years were replaced by others whose communication skills were second rate. I switched to Walgreens, and I'm glad I did. A few days ago, I was having trouble getting a new prescription filled because of a technical hangup with the prescription. Walgreens pharmacist Phuong went out of her way to reach out to my medical provider to get the necessary approvals, even though it was after my provider's normal business hours. Walgreens' service was fast, responsive, and above and beyond any service I've received in recent years. read more
