I'm always satisfied with my shopping experience here. Many items are unlike anything from other stores, such as seasonal gifts and decor. The variety of toys for children makes it my go-to place to get a quick gift for a child's birthday. The instant prints photo kiosk has definitely proved to be amazing, user friendly, with awesome results! The employees at the Lockhart store are all kind and helpful. Cindy is always so nice and enthusiastic, which makes the experience extra special. The ladies restroom is clean. Would shop at this store before going to HEB or Walmart for little things, like office supplies or paper goods. Thank you! read more

Pharmacist workers are rude and disrespectful. Call corporate and they don't even care. Trash I'll stick with CVS.

Pharmacist is one of the most rude, disrespectful people out there. I went to the pharmacy to ask about an OTC item, used in conjunction with a medication I have been prescribed & taken for years since leaving the Military. Before I could finish my sentence, while simultaneously showing my prescription, she interrupted and said "No, we don't have those". That's weird because it's a very common item. The Tech gave me the look like she's lying but had to go through with it. She said we have been out of it for over a month. Funny, because my Caucasian neighbor literally went there 2 days prior to me going, and go the same item that they were "magically out of for over a month". This Pharmacist is racist and clearly has a chip on her shoulder. Possibly got an unfair advantage when getting admitted into Pharmacy School ("D"idn't "E"arn "I"t, strikes again) Then, after leaving, I received an email from Walgreens asking "how they did". I surely left as detailed as a response as possible. A few days later, received a phone call from a San Antonio number, who identified himself as the District Manager. This guy seemed like he was just "going through the motions" and didn't actually have sincerity in his responses. Then acted like he magically was surprised. What? There are SEVERAL negative reviews all dedicated to this Pharmacist. Best advice, go to a different pharmacy establishment all together. NOT RECOMMENDED. 1 out of 5 stars. read more

Sadly I have to give them one star to even post. The pharmacy staff are probably the most rude folks that I have ever encountered. They hang up the phone before your even finished with the conversation and when your in person they cut your conversation off. All I want to do is pick up a prescription without grief or attitude. They are sure some very unhappy people that work in the pharmacy. read more

I always price match from their website and they honor the cheapest price. Today however, the lady at the register told me that they don't do that. I told her that every other Walgreens does it but she just continued to say 'no we don't, no we don't' Pour customer service is all I can say and Walgreens just lost a customer !!! read more

Hey, I really liked this Walgreen's, and we have one near our own house. Stopped for a couple of last tid bits that we needed for a road trip to Houston. They completed our list. Clean. Nice and friendly people working there, at least to me. read more

Well, I should have read these reviews before trying to rely on Lockhart Walgreens for my mom's medications! As others have noted, the staff at this pharmacy are frequently rude, flippant, and always unhelpful. I was a regular customer for some pretty serious drugs, and they never seemed to recognize me. This experience was very unlike the other pharmacists in the area that we would sometimes use when the Walgreens was unable to fill our orders (yes, the mass corporate *designated* DRUG STORE is badly stocked), and who would have sympathetic conversations with me about my mother's illness. I was at Walgreens at least a couple of times a week, and that's partly because sometimes I would show up to pick up a prescription, only to be told they don't carry it. (A phone call would have been nice... Now I have to scramble, totally without any help from walgreens, to find another pharmacy that can fill the prescription before they close for the day) They have also just lost prescriptions that have been called in to them. It seems everyone has to work harder to pick up the Walgreens pharmacist's slack. When the staff in a workplace are uniformly rude and unhelpful, you have to look to the person in charge: the pharmacist. In all my encounters with him, he has been completely uncaring, flippant (that word comes up again and again in all the reviews, huh) totally unprofessional, and petulant, like it's a giant inconvenience for him to be doing his job. This all came to a head the other day when he actually laughed at me because I was upset that I was unable to get the pain medication that my mom (in end-stage cancer) needed. I can't believe I'm actually writing a PHARMACY review, for god's sake. But this place is really bad and has somehow managed to make the terrible situation my family is going through even worse. Use Westy's, if you can! Their hours and inventory are not great, but they are fast, and the pharmacist started recognizing me after the second visit. Walgreens is the same where ever you are the same specials and the cashiers all lfriendly. The store was clean

I have put up with rude treatment over and over. Tonight takes the cake. I used the Walgreens app to refill my prescription. I got a confirmation email staying it would be ready, at 7:00 pm on 2/23. I pulled up in the drive through at 7:00 pm on the dot, gave them my name and told them I was here to pickup a prescription, after a few seconds of dead silence I was asked what I was trying to get, I showed them the confirmation email. What it boils down to is they could not get insurance approval, but instead of notifying me they let me drive all the way in. Total lack of communication, this has been the story with them a long time. I would give up all my reward points for better service and caring attitudes, they always seem to act as if I am bothering them. I use Walgreens for convenience but when they are no longer convenient, and they are not even appreciative of my business, then I have to find another provider for all of my subscriptions. Save yourself time and frustration and find another pharmacy. read more
