They went above and beyond in helping us get my wife's medications ready after her hip surgery. What really stood out to me was that they didn't just treat us like another prescription. They genuinely took an interest in my wife's health, asked about her surgery, and showed sincere concern for how she was doing. Their kindness, patience, and personal attention meant a lot to us during an already stressful day. People often remember great service, but they especially remember when someone genuinely cares. WORST Pharmacy! 30-45 wait on the phone, lines down the aisle in the store, 7 or 8 cars in the drive through. After waiting in the drive thru with no cars moving, I went inside to wait another 30 mins only to be told it's not ready! And this is after voice mail says it's ready, yet automated system says it's pending. I try every day being told waiting on Doctor, Doctor says called in weeks ago! Then I'm told they're out of the med, then I'm told insurance kicked it back. Insurance shows they paid Walgreens for it yesterday but I never picked it up because it was "pending". They've submitted multiple different RX numbers to my insurance yet I've never received my medication. I've been trying for a month!! Transferred my prescription to HEB, got it a few hrs later! Don't go here unless you have lots of time, like to get frustrated and never get your meds! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Ive never had more issues with a pharmacy than this one. In what world should it take anyone over 48 hours to fill a lozenge prescription. Your service is pathetic, you offer no value to your customers as the only value you could offer would be saving time which this location is happy to waste yours! Save yourself the time. Walgreens - The pharmacy queue - Drugstores Near Me - Magnolia, Texas

Please for the love of all things good, DO NOT use this Walgreens. I am not sure if there is anything good I can say about it. I use their pharmacy as it is the nearest to where I am based. The pharmacy is a HUGE waste of time and effort. Every time I need to pick up a prescription, I am always waiting at least 20+ mins in the drive through. It takes them way too long to order and fill prescriptions 3+ days for antibiotics, 3+ weeks for non-life saving prescription medications and all of their other practices are the furthest from efficient. They messed up a prescription of mine that ended up causing a 2 week delay and hours of phone calls to straighten out this prescription. This has happen to myself, others in my family, and friends as well. Do yourself a favor and spare the headache!!!! read more

I am reminded at that "glad that a Walgreens in our location in Rural Magnolia " review from 4 years ago. Since that time: my views have changed a whole lot. I am on hold for 30 minutes writing this review. We are mandated by our new insurance to use the Pharmacy. There are so many, many mistakes and untruths (excuses) each I times I am there now. Once I was on hold, I decided to drive to the store, walked in the store, pick up a few items and up to the pharmacy and was still on hold when they asked me if they could help me. I put my phone on speaker and showed the minutes I had been on the hold. Their excuse..were are busy. No at that counter when arrived. No apologies. They don't care for their patrons. Still don't know our names yet either. I asked for Cholestrol medication it and my son's seizure meds and they said it was picked at 12p on a Saturday. I.found that ironic because we left for the beach the afternoon the day before. I wanted a camera recording and they said they look in to it. Never heard a word.. I told PCP who ordered another so insurance would pay for it. My son had a lower dose: so were able to double.that. it's nothing Cholesterol or Seizure meds have a high street value. They a lunch break 1:30 :to 2p I believe. I was in the drive thru and SUV ahead me finally drove off after a 3o min wait. They saw me and shut window at 1:28. Well, I was wrong in my excitement of the first review. I never have seen so much chaos at one pharmacy in my life. The pharmacist accused my Speciaist MD of lying about electronically sending a prescription. Well, I witnessed him send it. After a bit: oh yes: I see it. Walgreens - Disregard my 1st review - Drugstores Near Me - Magnolia, Texas

They are rude, slow, and could careless for coustomers. Close 3 hours early on weekday at 6pm instead of 9pm and did not notify i. Email or text or phone. If you are counting on pharmacy to be open till 9 to get new meds you need but rhey don't care. At least stay open til 7:00 and 7:30 then open late if you have to cut hours. Some people don't get home until 6- 6:30. Time to find new pharmacy read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever done business with. I've been on the same meds for a very long time, and there isn't a single month that my medically necessary meds aren't out of stock, delayed, "stuck in the system" as one employee said, or have random prices. Today, my doctor called in a prescription for something I cannot go without, and I am completely out of. They didn't bother to tell me that they're out of stock for several hours, and now my doctor is out of the office until next week due to the 4th of July holiday, and I have to do without for 4 days. If I could go anywhere else and still use my insurance, I absolutely would. I've already complained to corporate, which solved nothing. Next year I'll be changing my insurance to a worse plan just so I don't have to deal with this company again. read more

This is absolutely the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. Every single employee I have dealt with has no idea what they're doing. I get notifications that my medication is ready to pick up and when I go to pick it up it's not even in stock. They have screwed my daughter over three times now. Prescriptions ordered from dr office in morning. Went to pick them up at noon. Said ready in four hours. Went back seven hours later. After waiting in a one hour line, asked to circle around and get back to the end of the line because they're weren't ready. ??? For the first time I wish there was a way to put zero stars or can I request to take away a star cause this is the worse Walgreens I have ever been to in my life. After reading other reviews it seems that others agree with me on the same issues and yet here we are.....nothing changed. So does Walgreens even care about their customers issues or they just ignore it and keep doing the same thing. 1. The store as a whole is unwelcoming. 2. The pharmacy staff is so slow that it makes me think they do it purposely. I swear they must hire people from the dmv/dps cause that's how rude and slow they are. 3. The pharmacist himself is so rude and I even saw him he rude to an employee too. Just cause you make good money doesn't make you special. You work in customer service stil so how about treat customers right. 4. Don't think you can save time by calling because it's worse. I called today and was on hold for 45 min and someone answered and hung up. This has happened several times in past too. I don't understand if y'all are that busy then hire people if you can't afford to then tell the ones who do work to move with a purpose cause personally I feel that's the issue. Everyone behind that counter doesn't seem to care at all about nothing. Went to pick up my daughters prescription that wasn't ready. Told me it would be ready In another 45 minutes. I returned an hour later to be told they don't have it in stock. I go to another Pharmacy to have it transferred there and they would not pick up the phone for the pharmacist to get the prescription. They kept picking up and hanging up. Plus they couldn't call me ( not that they would) because they didn't have my correct phone number under my daughters name even though they send me notifications for my prescription all the time. Even when I go to pick up a prescription for myself it is usually a long wait when it has already been filled and ready for pickup for two days. Get your shit together. read more

At 7 pm I made an online appointment for a flu shot for 8:15 pm. Filled out the paperwork and drove 15 minutes into town and stood in line getting to the front 10 minutes prior to my scheduled time. I was informed they quit giving out shots (any type of shots) at 6:00 pm because they were too busy with prescriptions and did not have the time required. When asked why I was able to make an appointment online the reply was "don't know sir, just know we stopped all vaccinations at 6PM", she suggested I go elsewhere or make an appointment for another day. When asked how I would know if the appointment would be honored or not she said, "not sure will just have to show up and see how busy we are".........I am never going back to this Walgreens. read more

I wish I could give the Walgreens Pharmacy in Old Magnolia at 1488 and 1774 less than a 1 score. They deserve a -5 score. We have had nothing but problems with this pharmacy since we moved here 3 years ago. I tried to have my prescriptions moved to CVS in Tomball but CVS could not get Walgreens Pharmacy to even answer their phone. They were on hold over an hour and finally hung up. This morning I went to the urgent care across the street from the Walgreens Pharmacy in old Magnolia. They called in a prescription for 3 antibiotics to Walgreens. This was before noon. When I went to the Pharmacy the first time today they said it would be 4 hours before they could have the scripts ready. That was around noon today. I went to the Pharmacy this evening at 7 PM and they told me it would be another hour or so before they could fill the script. It has now been 7 hours for three basic antibiotic scripts. I asked the person at the drive through to see if they could go ahead and fill the scripts since this was my second trip to the store today and it had already been 7 hours. She asked me to pull back around and get in line. We had already waited in line for almost an hour in the drive through. and I was not going to wait another hour in the drive through. The manager came to the window and asked me to move. While I was at the window the I received a text from Walgreens saying my scripts were ready but the manager would not give them to me until I got back in the line for the drive through. I asked her very nicely to just get the antibiotics and I would wait. She then called the police to come. I waited and spoke to the police officer who did come. He was very nice and totally understood. He said he had the same issue. He asked if I would move and I did. I got right back in line for another 35 minutes. I have been in the Pharmaceutical Business for 30 years and have actually worked with Walgreens Corporate Office. Waiting over 7 hours for a basic antibiotic script is crazy. They have a serious problem in this pharmacy and with the arrogate manager. This place is Black Mark on the Walgreens Company and someone needs to take the time to look into the management and how things are being run. I won't be back here again and you can only imagine what I will say when asked about this Pharmacy. The only other person more incompetent than this crew at the Walgreens in Old Magnolia actually thinks he is the President! Yes, I have moved all of our business to CVS. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER. I recommend getting a new pharmacy because this one never fails to be the most unorganized experience ive ever had at a pharmacy and you will be on the phone for close to an hour everytime. They leave you on hold for over 30 min then finally someone answers and says let mw put you on hold i have to get to a computer and then i sit on hold for another 30 minutes as if she forgot about me. Had to call back multiple time. They have a complete unorganized way of doing things and need a better system. No wonder this Walgreens only has 1 star because nothing changes its always the same crap. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It took them four months to realized they were giving us the wrong medication. They gave me a different brand of my medicine and did not tell me and I had bad reactions to it. My doctor sent them a prescription to fill twice and they lost it. I have not had my medicine in almost two weeks because they cannot fill it. This is the worst service I've had. If i could rate it zero stars I world. Trying to email them directly doesn't work because their website has flaws. By far the most frustrating place on earth. they have wasted too much of my time waiting for the medicine I desperately need. Do not go to Wallgreens if you want your medication. read more
