Walgreens store at: 12345 SAINT CHARLES ROCK RD, Bridgeton, MO 63044. Consistently disappoints. The pharmacy frequently close earlier than it's advertised hours. Some days it doesn't open at all. First the pharmacy started closing at 9pm, Now it closes at 6. How in the world are working people supposed to get there prescriptions after work? Walgreens is always out of stock of merchandise. They decided to stop selling regular milk and replaced it with an expensive foul tasting brand. REALLY? NO REGULAR MILK? I've been a customer of Walgreens for over 30 years. Unfortunately, I'll be switching to CVS as soon as I can figure out how to transfer my prescriptions. read more

Myself and another customer were standing in the checkout for several minutes with no cashier in sight. There was an employee at the photo counter who could clearly see us and did nothing until I asked her to please call a cashier as there was a line forming and no one to help us. Luckily for them, the other customer and I were honest people, because it would have been extremely easy for us to have just walked out with the merchandise. read more

I received the greatest service from a pharmacy tech named Carlan at the Maryland Heights Walgreens Pharmacy. Our company had just switched insurance at the beginning of the year, and I needed two prescriptions filled. I was afraid the whole transfer process would be difficult and riddled with issues, but Carlan had all of my prescriptions switched to the new insurance promptly and without issue and filled the two I needed while I waited in a very timely manner (hardly any wait). She was not only very knowledgeable at her job, but also very kind as well, going out of her way to really help me make sure everything was transferred properly. She was very sweet, and I just think she deserves to be rewarded. I too work in customer service and give my employees "gold stars" when they go above and beyond for one of our customers. They really do appreciate it, and a little recognition and "thank you" really do go a long way in this world. I therefore took Carlan a gold star of her own today. While she wasn't working today, I did talk to the pharmacist on duty to let her know of my positive experience. Thank you Carlan, appreciated all your help last week! read more

Service just plan poor. Not a sole in line been waiting over 30 min for the pharmacist. Not very many came through during this time. I try my best to avoid this location. Feel like they have mastered the Walgreens shovel no apparent urgency for customer service. However, I admit they don't stand around either. One of the rare times I've been in here and there was no long waiting line. Unfortunately, they still could not provide reasonable service from my perspective. read more

When a medication is on back order, they do not care to advise you, until your medication is gone. The pharmacy likes to decide when and if I get certain medications that are NOT controlled. Pam needs an attitude adjustment and awareness. She keep the line long with many mistakes with lots of customers. And what frustrating is she needs to learn to listen and explained properly. I was confused with the rewards and deals instead she just angrily stated the phone number (all she said) like what about my phone number?...I didn't know the rewards and deals was connected with my phone number, I can't read her mind. She's unfriendly and seem to be miserable; her attitude rubbed many the wrong way. Her actions was not appropriate, uncalled for and needs to be adjusted or find her a new position with less customer interactions. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Have to come 6 times to get a medication. On the 5th time they inform me that I need a local doctor to call in my prescription. Pharmacist and the tech are asking me 100 questions about why the doctor is calling from Rolla.... IT's asthma medication not pain pills. Yet 2 weeks ago I was able to pick up my other medication with no issue, prescribed by the same DOCTOR???? read more

I had an ideal experience receiving my second of two shingles vaccine here. i scheduled the appointment online, went to the pharmacy upon arrival. they took my ID, after a few minutes the gave me a simply questionnaire to complete. They led me to the small room and a lovely pharmacy tech administered the shot and handed me a receipt showing I owed nothing as insurance covered the cost. in all I'm out in 15 minutes. compare that to CVS' MinuteClinic for the first vaccine who made me wait 10 minutes before anyone came out of there room. led me in and copied my insurance card and after a bit got the shot but they couldn't process the claim. I called three different occasions after repeatedly getting a $179 invoice. Now they sent me to a collection agency. Ill stick with Walgreens on Dorsett from here on. read more

One of the better Walgreens locations. Pharmacy is usually pretty good here. The selection of items is great. Don't forget to checkout the newspaper add and coupon book when entering the store for added savings. There is also a photo center, where you can get photos printed or passport photos taken. read more

I wish I knew his name but there's the nicest pharmacy person working there that always goes out of him way to help me get the best price. I don't have insurance since I recently lost my job. The dosage I am prescribed is higher than the GoodRX coupons but he still tried. He wasn't able to get it down as low as I hoped but it was still about $30 less My scrip 600 mg = $86 GoodRX for 400mg = $12.66 (It doesn't give me an option for 600mg) He tried it anyway, even though it wasn't same dosage and got it down to $53 read more

On my last trip to Walgreens I was not impressed--I'm glad that I decided to try them again because they were having some nice little deals on things today. A lot of BYGO on makeup so i decided I could use some new eye colors. Also Almonds were BYGO so what a nice healthy snack to take to the office. The store was well stocked and clean and my checkout lady was friendly & nice. Plenty of parking and on a good corner location. read more

This review is for pharmacy only. An extra star because occasionally someone nice and knowledgeable is helpful. We no longer send scripts there because I need refills multiple times a month and they were messing them up consistently. Most of the time they were out of what I needed. More than once I have caught employees not telling me the truth. Most recently, I went through the drive thru to pick up some ibuprofen and acetaminophen for my son who wasn't feeling well. I had seen their sign in the drive thru advertising they now sell these items through the drive thru window. The employee at the window rolled her eyes at the inconvenience of me asking for these items and then I noticed later that the sign had been taken down. We will not be back. read more

Multiple times now I've come here, I've managed to walk in past 4 employees, gather my items, wait in line at the check out, finally get to the counter just to be told "our system's down. We're only taking cash". And I get it. Tech isn't always reliable, systems go down, employees aren't IT and just have to work with it. But if it's an ongoing issue, you'd think the employees would deter shoppers from wasting their time. Make a "cash only" sign and put it out front. Takes 30 seconds with minimal effort. Maybe tell shoppers that it's cash only when they're greeted at the entrance. I just really don't see the point of letting shoppers waste their time and only informing them once they reach the counter. It just seems like common sense to me. I'll probably just stick with the other location at this point since there's a 75% chance I'll have to go elsewhere anyways read more

Pretty good Walgreens, nice pharmacists and a drive thru for when you need meds and don't want to change out of your pj's. The store is usually clean but the employees have never once greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. The parking lot is also pretty crazy, watch out for people backing out of spots and not caring who is behind them. Also, randomly this is the place where someone wrapped a peanut butter and jelly sandwich around my door handle. Such a senseless waste of grape jelly! read more

Check your photos before you leave. Whoever printed it didn't check for quality control. 1 8X10 had a big red stain on the bottom and a 4x6 was scratched from the machine. They'll reprint it for you, but check the photos before you leave. The operator was really nice about it. On another day that I went to pick up some pictures, a lady didn't realize that her pictures would turn out horribly, she offered to help brighten them up and help her with her camera settings if she brought it in the next time to pick up her pictures. read more

Passport photos, NO They are not capable of doing this. They have no earthly idea how to take a photo, specifically one that will be accepted by the Post Office. You will waste your money and need to go elsewhere. Walgreens does not have the capability to do this function. read more

The photo lab has the most unwelcoming, rude lady, went their for a passport picture March 1st, she ignored me for 15 minutes and when she finally acknowledged me, she got on the pager for assistance at the photo lab, she was only attending to one customer at the time. When it was time to pay, she shoved my credit card out of my hand and inserted it, while all of this was going on, she called out to another associate passing by to come and take over because she is leaving for the day. Just Rude! Won't ever go to that store again. read more

I went to the pharmacy to pick up some prescriptions. I was in between jobs and didn't have health insurance yet. The pharmacy tech was really nice and went out of his way to use a discount card to save me money. He didn't have to do that, but I appreciated the customer service that goes a long way. No Walmart in Maryland Heights so your choices for food and other supplies are Schnuck's, Walgreens, or the 7-11 up on Bennington. Open 24 hours, always seems to be well stocked, but staff don't always seem up to snuff and often the line will back up with the slow checkers but still a decent place to shop for essentials. Bit of a crazy parking lot with the Jimmy John's right next door but drive slow and you'll be fine read more
