The staff is incredibly helpful and kind! The only problem is they need to hire more staff!!! I was in line waiting to pick up my prescription for literally over 30 minutes! Now that is insane and unnecessary! The pharmacist was on the phone which is fine if you can multitask! So I had to sit and wait longer for him to literally just glance at my script to make sure it was ok! Not even to count or sign but he just had to glance! That's just ridiculous! this place is rediculous , trying to fill a perscoption is a nghtmare. the first time I called in a perscription i got a text to come get. it. I go there and they haven't even started to fill it yet. The second time I tried to fill a perscription they tried to charge me a $150.00 copay. I told them there was no co pay so after waiting a while they said there was a $10.00 copay. I told them insurange covered it. He said if I wanted the perscription I HAD to pay the copay, so I did. The next week I get a check from Walgreens for the copay. Today I tried a third time to fill another perscription. I get a call to come get it. omce there they said I needed my Medicare card, which I did not have with me so they refused to Fill the perscription. i have gone here twice in the last week to print pictures. Both times the staff has been outstanding and so helpful. Today, Nico had a line of people waiting to check out. I sat at the kiosk and when available came over and assisted me. He vollied between helping me and checking out people. On every interaction he was beyond pleasant. Ordered Mopnjaro for diabetes last week, they inadvertently cancelled my order and now I have to wait another week. Very poor service. They told me if I wanted to call around to other pharmacies, they would transfer the prescription. How nice of them to help me out and go out of their way! Poor service. Had a 11:30am covid vaccine shot appointment, waited 20 plus minutes, until I asked what was going on. Pharmacist made excuses about "filling prescriptions as well as giving vaccine shots". First off, I would like to say that I am extremely disappointed in the situation I just witnessed. Today my father went to Walgreens at approximately 8:50pm to quickly grab something. My dad was simply going to grab an item for my mother for valentine's day. My dad is a hard working individual and does not have much time during the day to go to the store. The lady in Walgreens was upset and while my dad was walking out she flipped him off. I was able to catch her name tag and her name is Angeline. Please tell this Angeline lady to learn how to treat people who are supporting the company she is working for with respect. I am switching to CVS pharmacy after nothing but problems with this Walgreens. There is always a problem it seems - but after the latest situation I am out. I requested a prescription refill on 5/7. I did not realize there were no refills and typically a pharmacy will go the extra step and contact doctors office. I was not notified in any way of this and wasn't until I went into store to pick up did I realize the problem. The store didn't even seem to realize I had made the request (had to show them my phone Walgreens email confirmation of refill) and the employee mumbled something about it "just falling off" whatever that means. So....I contact my doctor on a Thursday 5/16 and they send in the prescription the same day. Now it is Sunday 5/19 and prescription says "still pending". I call and speak to an employee who again has "no idea" why the script still isn't filled. And lastly, why is it that no one seems to know where prescriptions are kept in the pharmacy? Every single time I go pick up they are rooting around in multiple places before they can locate. Horrible system all the way around. See ya. read more

Nothing but lies coming from these people waiting a week for a med and they all lie and pass the blame to other workers.They tell you that they ordered the med and when you get there they say it has not come in yet you call later and they say that they ordered it and that it will be in tomorrow.And when you complain on yelp no response from Walgreens I think we should all buy from Amazon. read more

From the sign and the rusty old building, you can tell this Walgreens has been here for a long time, and even from the first time I stepped in here (I've been to this specific one a few times....), I didn't think it was going to be great.... but walking in, you'd never be able to tell how old the store is. It's clean, well organized, and well stocked in every department (I don't shop in the beauty department.... so cannot comment about that). Aisles are long and wide (enough to fit carriages both ways!) and the price scanners on both sides of the store work, never would you find a CVS with working price scanners... even though I love ExtraBucks, it never fails that EVERY time I go into ANY CVS one of the scanners doesn't work. Sometimes multiple scanners don't work (and when I don't get my coupons I'm NOT happy!). Anyway, between the five chain pharmacies in Milford, this is one of the better ones. The two CVS' are both pretty good, but nothing to per say brag about, and the Rite Aid on Medway Road is also decent, but not spectacular either (haven't been to the Rite Aid across the street from here, so I cannot comment there). Walgreens in general has the best prices, and I had no issue getting everything I needed here and more (so much clearance too!! Just look for the orange tags..... there are MANY in every aisle!). Friendly associates and the store is never very busy. Parking lot is large and accessible from Prospect Street and West Street. Good for local residents. The only benefit I can think of for going to the Rite Aid across the street (even though I have never been there) is that they are open 24 hours. So if you are looking for something open late at night, that is the best option. Decent Walgreens that I would definitely go to the most if I lived in Milford. Sadly, where I live, the Walgreens I live near is wonderful but barely ever open and the size of a shoebox. 4 stars. read more

I usually go here to pick up photos using their online service. They've lost my pictures only once over the years but were happy to reprint them quickly. The store itself needs an upgrade or at least a good cleaning. It's murky and has a dirty feel to it. While I've never used their pharmacy services, I've been advised by other people to stick to CVS. read more

I had been a customer of Rite Aid in Milford for over 15 years. When it was taken over by Walgreen's, all of my families perscriptions were transfered there. From day 1 it was a disaster. They didn't have the capacity to take all of Rite Aids customers on top of the customers they already had. It is a tiny pharmacy and it created chaosi n the form long waits and mixed up prescriptions. I tried for a month to be fiendly and encouraging to the staff, because knew they were getting crushed. Customers were very nasty because of the waits and the staff bore the brunt of it. After a while, some of the staff started to get rude and short, and were awful to me and my family many times. There are two women at the Walgreens who were excellent that transfered from Rite Aid, Jess and Katrina. They were the reason I stayed as long as I did. Those two probably saved any customers left from Rite Aid. They knew me by name and went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. In summary, Walgreens corp., you screwed that situation up in the worst way. I'm sure you lost many customers. If you lose Jess and Katrina, that pharmacy will lose every customer that doesn't absolutely have to use it. Finally I'd had enough and transfered to CVS. What a difference! They are pleasant, organized and they actually have your scripts ready when they say they will! read more

Congratulations to this Walgreens pharmacy. After doing business with Walgreens for 15+ yrs, my aunt and I have officially taken all our prescriptions to CVS. Over the recent years, Walgreens as a whole has declined in customer service. But since the acquisition of Rite Aid, and the subsequent closures, customer service is even more disgusting. Yea, the staff might be doing their best, but 5+ hours for scripts to be filled, is not acceptable. I've even had to wait 1-2 days after doc sends scripts for them to fill, unless I call and go what's taking so long. On numerous occasions, I've received partial fills on prescriptions that are routinely filled, for the last several months (same drugs). You'd think they'd have a system to better tell their drug needs to cover regular fills+ some for new business. The occasion partial is understandable, but 5 months in row on same ones?!? I'm done going to a pharmacy and only getting some of my order or partial fills. read more

Since our two local Riteaid pharmacies closed the Milford Walgreens pharmacy is completely overwhelmed. I cannot understand why they closed both pharmacies since they now own Riteaid. I have been there three times in the past month, and each time there was a 10 minute wait just to drop off a prescription. The last time I counted eight employees in the pharmacy , but many unhappy customers waiting for meds. I will not use them again for any pharmacy needs. read more

I had never used this place for medication but my father was staying with me and I had to use them. Everything was so quick and easy I must have had a bewildered look on my face because the pharmacist asked if everything was ok. I asked, that's it? Warning getting your prescriptions at this Walgreens location. Pharmacists are making mistakes left and right. Its a very small pharmacy. Its to small and many had been switched by a unknown Walgreens advisor when a former rite aid store was closed. This location wasn't by choice.This location is a very poor choice,my advice Leave them explore your options,their pharmacists are rude and one who treated me badly should have been fired.Walgreens manager isn't qualified and answered questions and concerns poorly. The staff from the pharmacist to the cashier was very helpful. They were able to help me find the OTC items that my doctor wanted me to use. If the store was better organized I'd give them five stars. This is a well run store. read more
