They've been short-staffed for years & whether you go in-store or the drive thru to pick up, be prepared to wait a loooong, frustrating time. My most recent use of this pharmacy left me hanging 24+ hours without medication I needed same day due to travel. I used the automated pharmacy line before 8am that morning to submit my request. The Pharmacist pulled it immediately, put it in a "preparing" status, but failed to fill it the entire day. Then she went home. This "preparing" status prevented all other CVS pharmacies from pulling my prescription & filling it for me (ones open 24 hours). No communication from Moncks Corner pharmacy. CVS national customer care was also closed. There was not a single CVS agent in the entire U.S. that could resolve my problem. I know that to be true because I actually drove to the store to beg the manager for help. She patiently listened to my dilemma, but no ideas. I've used this pharmacy for years. I've switched to other drug stores for extended periods of time due to a plethora of situations that plague this location. CVS Moncks Corner = non-existent customer service. Take your money elsewhere. I am. This location should be closed.

Guerin's Pharmacy is a historic pharmacy that opened in Summerville, South Carolina in 1871. It is…read morethe oldest pharmacy in South Carolina as well as the oldest continuously-operating business in Summerville. It was founded by Dr. Henry Charles Guerin. The roots of the pharmacy go back decades earlier. Dr. C.F. Schwettmann owned a drugstore in Charleston, but it was damaged by cannon fire during the Civil War. He set up a new drugstore in Summerville in 1864. In 1871, Guerin (a former Confederate soldier and graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina) purchased the pharmacy and Schwettmann returned to Charleston. After Guerin passed away, the pharmacy was taken over by his son Dr. Joseph C. Guerin. The younger Guerin's colleague Dr. Herbert F. Dunning later purchased the pharmacy. Since 2014, the owner of Guerin's Pharmacy has been Dunning's grand niece Barbara A. Dunning, RPh. My family and I visited Guerin's Pharmacy this past summer while we were visiting family in town. Our cousins told us to check out a really cool old pharmacy in Hutchinson Square. We had no idea that pharmacies like this still existed; we had only seen ones like this in the movies. In addition to a pharmacy, Guerin's also essentially doubles as a general store where customers can purchase souvenirs, postcards, books, t-shirts, etc. Guerin's is also home to a soda fountain, which were popular in drugstores during the first half of the 20th century but rarely seen today. Customers can get Blue Bell brand ice cream, milkshakes, malts, floats, fountain sodas, hotdogs (with or without chili), pickles, or a number of different treats from the candy counter. My wife and I shared a cup of "Mint Chocolate Chip" ice cream while our sons shared a cup of "Cookies 'n Cream". My wife also enjoyed a strawberry milkshake while I had a bottle of Cheerwine. It was so cool to step back in time at Guerin's Pharmacy! We'll definitely visit again on a future trip to Summerville.

I recently delt with his partner and he was equally helpful in my prescription issues. They make a good team. I'd recommend this pharmacy over any in the area! When I pick up and a pharmacist assistant helps me, they are always great with customer service too.

They sell a variety of phone accessories and a variety of seasonal items like scented hand sanitizer and hand creams. This store could use some TLC, carpets could use a cleaning or replacement but the staff is generally friendly and they are open 24 X 7.

Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want.
