Raechel was incredibly kind and warm, telling my girlfriend and myself all about the different kinds of soaps she creates. Since we didn't have any plans for the day and were playing things by ear, we took up Raechel's offer to make some of our own soaps! What a fun way to spend a couple of hours, I recommend trying it out! I love Lush, but I like Raechel's concept better because not only is it less overwhelming (sometimes Lush gives me a headache if I'm there too long!) but it is also locally made and you can feel good about supporting a small business owner. I know this shop will quickly become a staple when I visit New Smyrna and I highly recommend you check it out! What I asked for and what I received were completely different. After my hair was bleached, it started falling out before I even sat back down in the chair. I immediately brought it to Nichole's attention, and instead of addressing my concern, she told me to stop touching my hair. Several hours later, my scalp was still burning and itching severely. I also pointed out that my hair was yellow, even though that was not the color I wanted. In the salon, I was told it was "just the lighting," and the lights were turned off. When I got home, it was obvious my hair was still yellow. I texted Nichole to let her know, and her only response was, "That's what you wanted." There was no apology, no concern about my scalp burning or my hair falling out, and no offer to correct the situation. If you're looking for yellow hair, hair breakage, a burning scalp, and poor customer service with no accountability, this may be the salon for you. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
