The cashier declined me from buying a game gift card. I buy them over the summer so my child, with special needs, has the cards to play & it doesn't cost him anything. These cards will last a little over a year The counter assistant said to me it was "unethical " as I walked out. In tears. Because I needed to now find another card supplier. The cashier told me people are using gift card as scams. First of all, HOW????? They cannot be cashed or sold. (Unless you sell a gift card below its value) I cannot not have these game gift cards. I cannot afford to get them during the year because I have added bills. Way to go Walgreens!!! No wonder you are closing on August 18,2025. Good riddance you assholes. How dare you judge me. Do not fill prescriptions on time! They are not reliable anymore. I am taking my business elsewhere after 25 years.

This review is for the pharmacy only. A family member had surgery. The doctor called in 4 prescriptions before the surgery. I went to pick them up, one of them being the pain med, about 6 hours after they were called in and only 1 was ready, and it wasn't the pain med. I had to wait 24-hours to get 3 out of 4 post major surgery medications. That doesn't seem right to me. read more

Normally I have had excellent service at this store, but yesterday was quite different. I found the goods i was looking for. When walking to an available clerk at his register (he had gestured to me to proceed), another clerk walking the store, barked that he would take care of me. I had to wait while he set up his register. And then when it came time to pay, I had a question on which way to best use my credit card on the machine. He barked at me chip side down. I questioned him on this (I was unclear) and his answer was to bark even louder, "chip side down". He glared and said nothing else. This man had true anger issues for reasons totally unclear to the customer. I walked away wishing i had never entered this store. I will no longer go into a store where customers are treated as inconveniences to an angry employees. read more

I spent a good 15 minutes on line booking a covid booster shot. I saved the appt in my calendar through the email they sent me but when i arrived they never heard of me and refused to honor their commitment. Such rude people who even made fun of me when i was leaving so i could hear of them laughing behind the counter. Such a waste of time. I should have read the reviews before I even started. Walgreens recently replaced Rite Aid, where I had done business for several years. I am seriously disappointed, even disgusted, with the new Walgreens store. Their prices are sky high (one example: childrens vitamins almost $20.00, compared to Walmart at $8.77 for same exact product). But I just spoke with them because they also substituted a cardiac medication that I have been taking for years with a different brand and I have been experiencing a lot of side effects from it. The pharmacist informed me that they cannot give me my regular medicine because Walgreens says I have to take what they supply. She cannot special order it as Rite Aide always did when necessary. I'll give this store a 5/5 just because nothing obnoxious occurred and everyone seemed pretty normal and happy in the store. I didn't find what I was looking for, which was rather specific and I should probably go to a Staples stores to find it. But I was impressed with all the back to school supplies at low prices. My elderly father got a call from the pharmacy that his prescription was ready today. He called and asked if I could pick it up and I called the pharmacy to find out what kind of prescription it was while I was driving up. I was on hold for 40 minutes, got to the store, only to find the pharmacy wasn't even open. All the while the recording was telling me how sorry they were I had to wait, the call was important to them, while counting down what number call her I was.
