A lot of CVS and Walgreens have been closing across the US due to slow sales. While Walgreens may have their own issues, I personally find them useful for men's hair products. Walgreens and CVS carry the most selections, A LOT more than Wal-Mart. If you need a quick men's hair product, Walgreens is a good starting point. read more

I was in the area...live in Moore. Never been in this store. I sat down at the Photo Booth to make acopy of an old photo. Two employees were just right there. Engaging with themselves. The scanner wasn't working so I interrupted their conversation. They could have had better customer service by using just a few Customer Service Guidelines. Eye contact, greet, is there anything we can assist you with? Would had a better outcome. I left my purchase behind, I was so annoyed. Store seemed clean. But no staff engagement from front door until we were leaving. read more

Of all time ever in the history of walgreens THis should be called we hate u walgreens WE lost everything were unorganised we dont care walgreens its like ghetto martha took over this walgreens and Answers the phone with. Things that dont make sense at all. I've argued with them about just trying to ask simple questions to them , What medication do I have on file seems to be to difficult for them to comprehend. I've gotten answers like "OMg its the same thing everytime" or I dont have time for this. The pharmacy manager here i fell like hates his job. The staff here i feel like hate their customers. I hate calling here. I hate going here. If it weren't close to my house I'd never go there again They are Unhelpful and wont answer questions. They will skip your old medicatons. They will loose your receipts you wont even have a record of what medications you got because it wont be on file It'll be like u never came here I got in a car wreck filled medications here. and theres no record of me ever filling my medication there. Which is crazy because i need the receipts one to get my money back and give to my lawyer. I for some reason keep doing myself a disservice by continuing to pick up my meds from this location. I went 3 times in one day, trying to pick up my meds. I received messages that all of my meds were ready for pickup. The first time I went, all my meds except 2 was finished so I had to go back later. I went back and then my message came that the two I was waiting on is now canceled. The young man said there is no way to know why. He gave me several things it could be. I asked him to ask because one quad a message that it was time to refill. When he looked it up, they did not have 1 and my insurance needed to be updated for the other. Both, easy fix. By the time I made it home, the message was coming through that the 2 meds were ready. I went the following day only to find out that again, they needed my insurance information. These are all easy, quick fixes but it's time consuming for me and it causes me to have to keep coming back when they could have got my meds ready, while I was waiting. They did it before. I live 15 minutes away from this location. After 2 days and 4 trips, I did get all of my meds. read more

The pharmacy and pharmacist are a complete joke. They are rude and have no customer service skills at all. When I went to pick up a prescription, I was told it was across town. After picking up two prescriptions earlier the same day. I told them it was an obvious error and the pharmacist replied "he can't fill the prescription due to professional courteous he didn't want the other Walgreens to lose $40 over the prescription". First off, they would have lost it anyway because I wasn't about to drive over 45 minutes to pick it up. Secondly, what about customer service? Shouldn't you help the customer who needs their medication versus trying to pick the corporate high road and deliver awful customer service. All in all, I'm taking my business elsewhere. After reading all of their reviews, anyone looking for a pharmacy should too. read more

My doctor called in an RX today for migraine medication, a injectable medication. I have had a migraine for 3 days. The call went in mid day. At 6 p.m. I went to go pick up the med, and was informed that did not have it and it would have to be ordered. I asked if it was available anywhere in OKC. They checked the computer and said yes, Edmond and Moore. I asked them to call; she checked Edmond and it was not. As she was preparing to call Moore, the manager told her I needed to sit down and she needed to do that on her own time bc customers were waiting. (What was I chopped liver?). I was in pain and still am. Seems they need a better inventory control system to know what is available where! Within a min, the manager called me over and told me it was not available anywhere in OK., and that i would have to wait til whenever it was available and he had no idea when that would be. I advised him I would have the RX transferred out asap to a respectable pharmacy that could fill it asap. I do not use corporate pharmacies for this reason. Their customer service is horrific. They do not care about people. Just making money. My regularly pharmacy (I took the advice of my doctor and had him call this in to them, bc he thought it would be faster and they would have the drug); will have the drug tomorrow morning and have it delivered to me! I will stop using WG for anything. This is the last straw. I just can't stand their attitudes and lack of CS! read more

Walgreens has the best candy around - Lindt, Ghirardelli, Russell Stivers abs Peeps! Good holiday decorations too! Walgreens is good on a holiday when you're out of something. I love their candy department (and so does my hips!) Their pharmacy is good. But overall, their prices are horrid. That's why they'll never be a five. Their prices are bad. And there are always issues with their receipts. Grr! read more

Walgreens is NOT your daily shopper, or honestly, anywhere you should stop unless you need something as an emergency fix. I go here when I'm too sick to go to the grocery store (sorry...). It is pretty clean. Be aware, there are almost always people hanging out in the parking lot asking for money. Pretty typical of this part of town, but there are always Curbside Chronicle vendors nearby, and they could use your money too! read more

There's a museum in London in which you can "live" in British history by going through exhibits that demonstrate all sorts of horrors that were common practice from the Dark Ages and into the 18th century. Likewise, in Seoul I saw an animatronic reenactment of an Admiral Yi naval battle during the Japanese invasions of the 1590s. That brings me to this particular Walgreens: what I initially thought was an attraction in Oklahoma that displayed the food lines of Soviet Russia. Turns out I was wrong... it really is a neighborhood Walgreens. Any time I've had a prescription filled here it has been a horrible experience. The pharmacy is severely understaffed, and the pharmacists are pretty rude and overall apathetic. I've had to wait up to twenty minutes in a line with only one person in front of me. I've also been the only person in line just to have the pharmacist standing there and ignoring me. I called in a prescription that said it would be ready the next day, only to have the pharmacist say they didn't fill it... nearly 24 hours after I had called it in to be filled. While I like the convenience of a pharmacy within walking distance of me, I just can't go here again. Sadly, my experiences here strive to be forgettable, as I've had nothing but bad ones. I'm actually at the point that I think I may switch over to CVS, if it's at all possible. If not, or if it's too much of a hassle, I'll go to a different location. I would definitely advise this to people who have life-saving medication, or will go through withdrawals if they suddenly stop taking their prescription. If the latter is true to you, you'll probably experience them just waiting in line here. read more

Stopped by Walgreens to buy a Christmas present. My husband and i also wanted to buy a bottle of wine. I put the wine on the counter to pay for it and also a price check on some face cream. We were both told we needed an ID both of us are in our mid 50's. I live up the street, so i left my purse at home. My husband had his ID. The clerk refused to sell to sell it to us, cause i did not have my ID? They have pot stores, 4 on every corner, but refused to sell us one bottle of wine! Ridiculous!!! This Walgreens is AWFUL. I had my Dr. office fax over my prescription around 11am-noon. I went through drive thru at 5:20pm to pick it up after work. I wait almost 15 minutes because of course they only utilize 1 lane at basically all Walgreens now. After being told they aren't ready, I am informed it'll be 15 minutes and I can get a text message for pick up. I WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR. I go in to this Walgreens to check in at the counter. I am told IT STILL IS NOT READY. I am told to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes with no apology nor reasoning for my long wait. It does NOT take that long to fill 2 prescriptions that are less than 100ct. Get it together Walgreens. If I could give this ZERO stars, I would. It is 6:45 pm now and I am STILL waiting. read more

I came to get a script that should have been ready for me (after my insurance gave me the go ahead on it & after double checking with who confirmed doctor who confirmed that it was sent) they sent my text notifications from wal greens said it would be ready. Girl checking out was not empathetic that they didn't take my insurance and was not helpful to point me in the direction for help- literally just stared at me. She continued to treat me badly and told me once my doctor called it would be an hour wait. I had to park my car and go into the store. I've used Walgreens pharmacy for years. Unfortunately this one is getting too bad to continue. Always takes way too long even to pickup a prepaid express pay medication. This is my friendly neighborhood (chain) drug (store) of choice. Wins and losses, tallied below: Wins: The woman who works the cosmetics section is the nicest lady in the world. I'm embarrassed to not know her name, but she is lovely. So helpful and so nice. The checkout people all work really hard and are very pleasant. The pharmacists are knowledgable and helpful. Losses: So much stuff is cray overpriced- you're so much better off to buy razors, toilet paper, paper towels, tampons, diapers, and almost everything else at Sam's, or even Target would actually be cheaper than this. Walgreen's is for cosmetics, prescriptions, vitamins, OTC meds, and getting photos developed, and that's about it. Please don't be a dummy and buy foil and trashbags at Walgreens. The Pharmacy is often understaffed. Also, because the insurance biz is so whack, sometimes something simple takes nine times longer than it should. It would be nice if sometimes they would say- hang on person number one, can you step aside for ten seconds while I grab this gal so we can get her out of there. We stood in line for (and I'm not exaggerating) fifteen minutes the other day while the pharm and the lady in front of us sorted out some biznaz. When we got up there and asked a question, she called the a actual pharmacist over and that person was able to help us in two shakes, and she was there the whole time!!! This is by far the worst Walgreen pharmacy I have ever been to. I get my prescriptions filled at pharmacies all over Texas and Oklahoma and I have never had worse service in my life. The first time I had a problem getting my prescription here, there was a problem with the way it was written and they needed more information from the doctor's office. I did not get my necessary medication until 6 days later because they refused to take 5 minutes and call the office. The pharmacy staff said that they do not call offices, and would only send them a fax. But my doctor's office never received their fax. Everyone there acts like helping you is a hassle. Do not expect to get there and wait any less than 15 minutes to pick up your prescription if they actually have it. If possible, GO ANYWHERE ELSE! read more
