Always have the meds I need and the customer service is top notch especially the young middle eastern man who is often the pharmacist in the drive thru (wish I'd asked his name; he deserves a raise). The pharmacy employees at this location are awesome. They are super efficient. A few times they have helped out when I was pressed for time. Please be patient with them. Efficiency issues occur when understaffed. That's not there fault. It's corporate decision making. read more

I went to the Take Care Clinic on Monday. Got there at 9:45am was not seen until 11:30. Which I get it they were swamped and understaffed. Understandable. What was not understandable was the attitude form the front desk lady. This was not the first time dealing with her and the attitude. There was an issue with entering my insurance in the iPad so I had to go to the desk when she called me- and I started to tell her I had a "digital copy of my insurance card or ..." and she rolled her eyes and stormed off before I could finished telling her I had the physical card and wanted to know which would be easier for her. When she came back and demanded my phone for the card I handed her the physical card. She entered the info complained that I messed it up on the iPad then told me to sit back down. Once I was finally seen by the Dr. Kristen, The front desk lady kept unlocking the door to interrupt the appointment. At one point it was simply to grab her monster energy drink from the fridge. Really that couldn't wait? Overall I was not the only one in the waiting room to comment on her terrible attitude. Kristen Nobel, was wonderful on the other hand. I use this pharmacy and I keep telling myself to change because of all the errors. I am on multiple daily medications. Too many times I have had an automated message stating my prescriptions are ready for pick-up, and they aren't ready. A few times I have called and have been told they were ready, only to be informed when I got there that they had questions for the doctor. Today, I called and was told prescription was ready. I am here now. Woman at desk tells me "prescription was confusing. Pharmacist tried calling doctor and left message, but no one called back.". I immediately phoned doctor's office. Was told Walgreens pharmacy DID call-BUT spoke with doctor and all questions were cleared up!!! I asked to speak with the pharmacist. Was told it will be ready in 10 minutes. So now they lie??? The long waits, lack of staffing, inaccurate information... makes me feel angry and lose my confidence in most of them handling my medications. I do not recommend anyone using this Walgreens Pharmacy!!! read more

I would give them negative stars if I could but that doesn't exists yet. I came in to get a passport picture and the manager was there but refused to take the picture because the worker that does that was 20 minutes away so he had me and other wait because it was beneath him to do it at least that's how he acted. When the lady that does the pictures finally came in she acted like it bothered her we were there for the service didn't even say hello or may I help you she just told me if I was the one who needed the passport and pulled down the screen took the pictures and proceeded to print them. I went to get a covid test and the tech administering it was rolling his eyes and visibly scoffing and laughing at me when i couldn't open the q-tip package. then once i literally had the q-tip in my nose he wasn't paying attention and talking to someone out of view, so i removed it, then he got frustrated with me for removing it! how am i supposed to know how many times to circle or how long to keep it in if you don't tell me!! i'm so sick and so miserable and this rude highschool bully like behavior really didn't help at all, especially during such an awful time. read more

If you are going in for medicine or a prescription...its a pretty good place - they fill your needs pretty well and check you out quickly - they also have a drive-up window. Other than that, make sure you know what you are looking for...because the store management and by extension the help isn't much help. The checkout guy at the front is perfect, but the store personnel on the floor and especially behind the photo counter are pretty stale. It's too bad...just a bit of attention by store management to customer service and this outlet would rise in the rankings...but until then it languishes. read more

This is for the take care clinic. Arrived today 11-28-18 to be seen by a Dr. was directed to a kiosk where a sign said "out to lunch and to check in and fill out paperwork". Said see note for when they will be back. There was no note with time and I took a picture. I filled all the paperwork out and then a lady came out named Colleen who rudely told me they were not taking patients as they had a "mandatory" meeting they had to be in. I explained I just drove 10 miles and I was sick and needed to be seen as I was having asthma issues and she literally told me "to bad we're having a meeting". I was furious at this point and demanded the Corp number and the store manager and she asked why and I told her she was beyond rude to which she replied "just doing my job". I then spoke to the store manager who said the take care clinic doesn't report to them. His name is Larry. While my condition wasn't life threatening I still needed to see a Dr. this was a COMPLETE waste of my time. They could have updated the website to reflect they would not be open as I went to the site to check hours and address. Noting of the sort was listed. HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! I'm a Regional Manager for a major Corp and this is the type of behavior that should t be tolerated. It's bad enough I'm sick and wasted my time but to be rude and disrespect me is not acceptable. read more

May have cards etc. But photos always discolored, wait time at 9:00pm at night with no one else waiting and only one or two drive throughs with a pharmacist and tech equals 2 hours. Not just once but multiple times! Also charged more than Hills drugs for same scripts by 30$. Also the bonuses for pharmacists to switch you to whatever Walgreens carries and NOT pass the bonus to the consumer really burns me. read more

I come to find out the Managers here can do as they want instead of Walgreens running like a corporation. I purchased a $33 gift for a child and it was the wrong item. I purchased it on Nov 22. I had the receipt and all and tried to return it on Dec 26th (with receipt) so I could get the item wanted. The lady at the photo both was rude and said I can only get a store credit. I asked if I could speak to the Manager (hoping she had more compassion and sense). The Manager told me it was past 30 days and could only get a store credit. Now it wasn't much passed the 30 days here...ugh. I was livid. Now I am out the $36 (with tax), have to go spend even more money on the other gift wanted. I called corporate and was basically told if I went to another Walgreens, that manager may have actually gave me my $ back. Also, even more important, this same Walgreens years ago gave my baby a WRONG script (a medication never tested on infants before). No joke. Could have sued. Perhaps I should have. My daughter's Dr caught it. Do yourself a favor and choose a different Walgreens! And shame on corporate for letting Managers run their stores as such. DO NOT come here if you need medication..several times i have been told that my prescriptions could not be refilled because they were out of stock and had to reorder the medicine...no my latest request for a prescription refill i was told by the pharmacist that the medicine can not be obtained by the manufacturer because Walgreens has a contract with the manufacturer. maybe Walgreens needs to do business with reliable manufacturers who can provide the products that their customers need. read more

On 8/20/19, I came to the pharmacy to fill a prescription, for which I had a GoodRx discount card which would lower the price from $43.99 to $15.29. When I presented the card to the pharm tech named Matt, he proceeded to loudly tell me, in front of staff and customers waiting in line, that I was not eligible for the discount because I was on Medicare and proclaimed that I was using the card ILLEGALLY. I know very well that I can use the GoodR card INSTEAD of my insurance, but Matt, apparently, did not. As a result I had to pay the full $43.99. I called the Walgreens Consumer Relations line, who informed me that I would get a reply within 48 hours. I did not. I then called this Walgreens myself but, again, no call back. I only got a call back after I wrote a letter to the store. I was given a refund for the difference but the pharmacist on duty was very dour and unfriendly. No "sorry about that," not even a "hello" or "goodbye." This experience was bad enough to take my pharmacy business elsewhere. read more

This is the WORST clinic. Do not go here. The dr and nurse are SO RUDE. They act as if you're bothering them, and you're beneath them. The nurse speaks to you in such a rude tone and looks at you like you're an idiot. I asked to not have a strep test and they physically held me down to stick the thing down my throat. After crying my eyes out, the dr told me my anxiety was the reason I got so worked up. Also, the dr was sniffling and coughing the whole time. Horrible experience. read more

This Walgreens is definitely not the best place. Every time I have gotten my photos printed there they are always blurry, non gloss, and on a smaller paper. They also usually only have register open when there is a line of over nine people. Customer service is horrible, nobody ever asks if you need help finding anything and all employees are always out of sight when you need help finding an item. more than half the time the employees seem miserable and never have a smile on their faces. I agree with other statements about this location, staff is super rude, not friendly at all or helpful to clients. They don't smile , say have a good day , nothing. I wasn't going to write a review because I can deal with general indifference towards a casual customer, however, when I wanted to compare prices, ingredients and make a thoughtful purchase for allergy medication for my child at the pharmacy, the rudeness was beyond toleration. The pharm tech was not knowledgeable and seemed scared that I was asking to look at ingredients in various off brand allergy meds and name brands , he called another tech who told me they were controlled and he felt he needed to pull med to pull the boxes closer to him. I used to go to the Walgreens in Palos Park and my experience there was so different. They helped me decide what was the best bang for my buck, explains what I'll get in each case, example 12 tablets that are 24 hour relief v box of 12 for 12 hour relief. This time I was considering changing brands, and instead of getting the experience I'm used to at Palos Park I was treated like some criminal reviewing narcs, an annoying customer he had to rush along ! I was so embarrassed and rushed that I didn't make the best purchase option. Then I pulled a coupon i looked up on my phone and he snarled that's for prescription only. If Walgeens carries a medication but not in stock @ the pharmacy you take it to, the staff should make it their responsibility to locate a Walgreens that stocks it.
