Even during those times when they are clearly overwhelmed or understaffed, the pharmacy staff are courteous, knowledgeable, make sure I understand the prescription, and have helped me get the best price during times when I had no insurance. I like that I will get a text when a prescription is ready, and on rare occasions when I needed to talk to a person (not the hideous AI phone system), I could. The biggest thing is that I TRUST them. The pharmacy is the only reason I even go to that Baker's anymore. Thank you pharmacists and technicians for your courtesy and professionalism.

A pharmacist refused to process a valid prior authorization, even after our insurance, HR department, and provider all confirmed it was active. He was dismissive and unprofessional, insisting he was correct while refusing to take the basic steps needed to help. We had to move our prescriptions to another pharmacy, where the authorization was handled immediately without issue. Patients deserve better care and professionalism than what we experienced. What's even more concerning is that it appears that he's the owner.

I recently switched from Kohll's Pharmacy after receiving CPAP supplies through them for just over…read morea year. Beginning in June 2025, after completing an online refill request, I was notified that an updated prescription was required to continue billing for supplies. Despite multiple follow-ups, the process never moved forward. I received repeated text reminders (June 25, July 22, August 27, and November 6) stating I was due for supplies, along with several phone calls on my end (July 15, August 19, November 18, and December 8). I also had e-mail communication with staff (J.R.G) during this time. Each interaction indicated that someone was following up, but the issue remained unresolved. Unfortunately, by the time my insurance reset for the new year and my deductible restarted, I still had not received supplies, which led me to seek a new provider. Sharing this in case others are experiencing something similar, and to help bring visibility to what may be a larger process gap.

I stopped by the other day, and it was almost like everything was in a time capsule. It felt and looked exactly the same. Nothing looked updated or different, and after a thorough review of the aisles, they seem to have the same standard health food store type items. Definitely some new brands, but mostly the same offerings. One thing I'm seeing a lot more of these days for the health conscious is a focus on added protein and or fiber. I specifically sought out high fiber and high protein, products, and there weren't that many to be honest. A lot of companies are adding one or both of these to their standard products or creating new products to fit this trend, but there wasn't a lot at natural grocers to fit this category. The staff was friendly as usual. I was asked as I was browsing if I needed any help finding anything, and when it was clear that there were a couple of us waiting in line for the one checkout lane they had open, they opened a second one. Very friendly employees, and my interactions with them were pleasant. The interior could use a little refresh. Nothing looked dirty, but the store does look a little dated. I'm not sure what it is about health food stores or sections, but they all tend to smell the same. Not a bad smell, but kind of earthy? I'm not sure anything could be done about that. It would be nice to have a self checkout option. They still only have traditional checkout aisles.

The associates are always inviting, nice, and friendly and are always willing to answer questions or help with anything, which is a nice touch. The prices are just like any other Sephora, pretty high but you know that before going into the store. the only bad thing about this particular store is that its not considered a full-blown Sephora store, so they don't get in some items that the other Sephora stores get in and some coupons and deals can't be used there. Other than that, the store is always organized and clean and the employees are always friendly.

Staff is super helpful getting you to your desired scents, and there were also other promotions running they'll let you know about. Everyone is masked, and while it was busy, I didn't feel like anyone really encroached on my space except towards checkout, but for the most part people were being mindful of social distancing. If you can, I encourage you to go on a weekday. On the weekends you would have to be really lucky to get a parking spot out front, but your best bet is to park behind the mall.

One can have to park at a distance in prime shopping hours. These are the burdens we must bear. Carts are always plentiful, as are baskets. They have nearly everything we want. Also, the meats and produce seem fresh and delicious. It's a very large store and is well-stocked. Service is great. Even better if the business isn't flooded with customers. Grocery store can only prevent so much of that without losing serious capital. Bad for biz either way. They have regular registers and automated ones. Both work well. This is our preferred Hy-Vee these days.
