If you go to this Walgreens photo section and Donna is working -- Run, Forrest, Run! I went to pick up my business cards that my daughter ordered for me. She kept getting messages saying they were ready for pickup. When I approached Donna politely to ask if my cards were ready, she immediately caught an attitude and asked, "Did you receive a message?" When she saw they were printed but not cut, she muttered under her breath, "You're not supposed to come until you receive a message that they are ready." Then she started slamming parts off the machine to change the cartridge that cuts the cards. After she changed it, the machine stopped cutting altogether -- probably because she was hitting and slamming it in frustration. It was clear she was angry that I came to get my cards, even though the system told us they were ready. I give respect to get respect. I had a card on file to pick up my prescription today and the Latina lady with glasses caught an attitude with me because she didn't see my card on file..mind you I'm sitting right there in my vehicle looking at the card on file. The pharmacy is the worst. I was told my prescription would be ready the next day. I went to the Walgreens the next day and they told me, "this is a prescription we don't keep on stock so it'll be ready tomorrow." I went back the next day and they told me "this isn't a prescription we keep stocked it'll be ready on Friday" I told them that I was told that it would be ready today. The young lady I talked to walked up and said yeah it can be ready today. The girl said okay I'll check to see if we got it and it'll be ready In 5-10 mins. I've been to this location twice in the same week. I am not sure if they are simply under staffed or what but on Wednesday it took over 20 minutes for anyone inside to even acknowledge that cars were waiting in the drive thru. I observed a car in front of me press the call button and still no response or assistance. That car left and I sat in line for an additional 7-8 minutes before someone came. I was sick so it would've been inappropriate for me to go inside the business. Tonight (Friday) the line moved much quicker however I sat in line for almost 30 minutes because only one pharmacist was on duty and they were out administering vaccines but the pharmacy tech could not let me purchase my meds until the pharmacist did a consult and swiped their badge. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Every time I come to pick up a prescription, the line is extremely long. I always have to wait 30 minutes or longer inside and in the drive through. Today I came right at 2 PM when they are supposed to open and all of the pharmacy staff are still out and lunch; therefore no one is getting serviced. He wouldn't sell them to me. I know he can just enter the birthdate. I've seen them do it before. No one is ever going to mistake me for being under 21. I was ticked and was checking out. I put my walgreens card info in the machine. He tells me that I've been pre-approved for a Walgreens credit card. You'd give me a credit card without a license, but won't sell me a pack of smokes!?! I'll give it 2 stars because the cashiers in the front are always nice. But the photo booth manager who works on Sundays is rude and bigoted. Assumed my name was urban when I asked for my photos and gave him my last name. This is not the first time he's been rude. My husband doctor sent his prescription over in the morning. I came in the afternoon to pick it up. She said she didn't receive it. I asked her to check again she came back 15 mins later and said she just found it and that it won't will filled til noon the next day. I came back the next day around 330pm. She said that it hasn't been approved to be filled by the pharmacist yet so she can't fill it. And to come back that night. I came back the next day. And it still wasn't ready. NEVER AGAIN!!! I just moved here and transferred my prescriptions from another Walgreens to this location. I always do my refills online, and my former Walgreens would ALWAYS have them ready within an hour. If for some reason it was delayed they would call me immediately. They also called as soon as the order was ready for pickup. This store didn't even acknowledge my online order for more than 24 hours; then when I checked online it said my order was incomplete and I needed to call the pharmacy. They were complete idiots. They had no idea what my medications were. After I repeated them twice they finally told me they could be ready in 15 minutes. Only one was ready. By that time the pharmacy was closing. I called again the following morning to inquire about another prescription that was still showing up as incomplete. They said "Oh we forgot about that one. That'll be another hour and a half." I will transfer back to my old Walgreens in Clear Lake and make the extra drive because they all know my name, and they are happy about their jobs! read more

Customer service at this location is horrible in the pharmacy. Someone needs to have a stern talk with them on how to treat customers and just common courtesy. I went through the drive thru on a Saturday not knowing that they close at 6. There was a car in front of me. The car pulled off and I pulled up. The pharmacy tech a young Asian girl was right there. She walked away. I just assumed she was coming back because I didn't know they closed at 6. Next thing I know she took her register and walked out the door. I understand that they close at 6 and wouldn't expect you to help me after that time. However, it would only have taken around two seconds to sAy ma'am we are closed. Instead of having the common courtesy to let me know that information, she just walked out leaving me there to figure out what was going on. That was soooo rude. He wasn't understanding them telling him they wanted to make sure they had the correct insurance on file for the correct pricing of his RX. He said I'll pay whatever it is..Had something to do with a tiny tube of ointment that was gonna cost him $100+ without insurance. They were not respectful while speaking to him. My son had a prescription for a strong cough medicine that we got from here. First of all the doctor called it in around 10am. My husband called them around 4 asking if it was available and they claim that they did not receive it. They then told my husband to call the doctor. He did and the doctor got upset because he already sent it a long time ago. When we finally got the medication, the instructions in the bottle said that my son should take it continuously for 14 days. I'm a nurse so I know that medication should only be taken as needed. And NOT continuously x 2 weeks! And this is for a 3 yr old! A few months ago too they mixed my son's amoxicillin suspension thus making him overdose on the medication. I was so mad. That should have made us just go somewhere else. And when you talk to the pharmacy staff they are so condescending. There is only one asian girl that is friendly in the pharmacy. The rest of them think act like they are gods. The pharmacy department on this locaton does not even deserve a single star. The only reason I'm.giving walgreens one star is because the rest of the other departments are better. Staff-wise. They are willing to help when you need it. read more

I was in town visiting family when I discovered To my horror that I left my daughter's medication at home. I called this Walgreen's pharmacy, hoping that the needed medication would be on file, given their national database, and it was. They answered their phone just fine and said all they needed was an order from my daughter's doctor and it would be filled with no problem. Once I talked to the doc, and gave a bit of time, the Walgreens pharmacy staff again answered the phone and said they had the medication, but my insurance company had denied it due to early refill. The staff told me what the cost would be out of pocket for the six pills I needed. Once I got there, the medication was ready for me at the cost they quoted and they gave me a tip on how to appeal to the insurance company later, if I wished. Their service was exactly what I would expect--timely and courteous--and the insurance denial had nothing to do with Walgreens. Maybe they know about the bad reviews and made changes, but my experience was much better. read more
