My sister went in for her Vaccine today, she said it was quick and Easy and the pharmacist was so very nice at Walgreens!! Then another great experience came when I was looking at the face creams and a wonderful associate by the name of Neyda came and greeted me and asked if I needed help. I didn't need help at the time. Then she came by again and checked on me and she gave me some great advice with a professional demeanor and so very knowledgeable. She was patient and very pleasant. She gave me some samples and helped us both checkout. We both felt as if we were in a high end department store. We felt as if we were in Macy's cosmetic counter. Super nice super professional and with the pandemic I rarely am out shopping- I felt comfortable and safe at Walgreens in Pico!! Thank you Neyda you should be very proud of your work!! read more

I've been a loyal and valued customer of this Walgreens Pharmacy since spring of 2011. The Pharmacy staff has always provided excellent customer service, and are warm/friendly. Prescriptions are filled promptly, without any hassle. Even my more complicated prescription orders have been accepted and filled. Whether dealing with your Doctor's office or medical insurance provider, the staff will do their absolute best to satisfy your prescription order. Pharmacists at this location do a superb job in consultation and explaining new or old prescriptions alike. I now live within walking distance of another Walgreens Pharmacy, but prefer to take a drive and my business to Walgreens Pico Rivera. I highly recommend this location. Five stars! read more

Went into this location yesterday to do a few purchases spent about 3040 minutes in the store collecting my items only to walk to the register and The told that I couldn't purchase my items that way I wanted to purchase them. I had separated my items in two different transactions and they share that they cannot do that Hass to be one transaction because people come into the Store and conduct 56 transactions and it takes too much other time I was confused I had as I had done this in the past at other Walgreens with no issue spoke to Manager and he confirmed. I could potentially understand why this is an issue when you have a line but the store was completely empty and no one was behind me and my transactions were organized everything should've been processed quickly. Manager on duty stated that it was a company policy when I asked to see where it dates that he just kept repeating it was a company policy I contacted corporate to gain a little bit more clarity and they stated that this is not the case. Ultimately left behind all my merchandise and didn't purchase anything. If I could put 0 I would. First off, I received about 3 texts yesterday telling me my prescriptions we're ready, I come and they are not ready. Said they would be ready today so now, i have been sitting in this drive thru for over half an hour and I finally get to the window, I get asked my name and my meds are right there, then they go help someone at the desk. This is ridiculous. They need more help or something! I'm about ready to change pharmacies. Happens every time. So over it!! Opens late. I go here to get some snacks and the line for red box is not as bad as the nearby Walmart....The cashiers are quick to ring you out. Service is good. Didn't try the pharmacy, but saw they have 2 people in the back. read more

Had the worst customer service through drive thru. I waited over an hour, of they were understaffed, the pyhmarcist, the assistant, and Walgreens employee. Down side when your stuck between cars and the drivers do not want let you get around no use in fighting. Not to sure if it's a normal practice but will sure try to get the a lot early when time permitted read more

For whatever reason my bf likes shopping at Walgreens, I'm more of a CVS/Rite Aid person, but Walgreens is growing on me. This location is kept pretty clean and the employees are friendly. There's plenty of parking and hardly ever crowded. read more

The one star is really about the walgreen app and its inability to function by sending pictures to the store for developing. My mother passed away yesterday and I needed to print some pictures for a book my family is creating. I decided to send some pictures through the app and pick them up at the store close to my mother's home. When I showed up the first time - no pictures. No sign of any order despite a confirmation #. I reordered - went back a second time and still no pictures. The second worker told me many of the orders were not going through. Pretty much the only place that still develops disposable cameras. 5 stars for that alone.

The wait time in the pharmacy drive thru is ridiculous! And once you pull up to the window they aren't even nice to you. At least be nice after making me wait 30 min to pick up a prescription. This pharmacy is convenient because I live close by but the wait time is not worth it. Definitely need to change to a cvs or something. read more

It's just Walgreens. Nothing special. prices are kinda high, but I can't tell you how many times it's saved my butt being open 24 hrs when even the walmart is closed. As long as its 24 hrs, it's always my first emergency stop! read more

From tampons to Christmas decor...Walgreens has it all! Open 24 hours which is super convenient if you have your women needs or need a tree topper ;) workers there are always nice and helpful. Very clean well stocked store. They also have photo service and a pharmacy. read more

I've never really had an issue here. There is only one register open but if it ever backs up a second opens up in a matter of minutes. The pharmacy is cool too. read more

Wow just went in to get a couple of items, and as I was walking in someone was walking out and I don't think he paid for his item. Then as we were standing in line someone walked out with things in his hands but he came back in and paid for his things. I think he went out just to look for someone. Sad part is I called the store after I left and I spoke with the store manager and he really didn't seem to care that people were able to walk out without paying. His answer was it's the busy season and they can't watch everyone. When I suggested they get security or someone to stand at the door, the manager said yeah we had someone but he stepped down and they are looking to hire somebody. So I guess it's ok to go into the store get what you want and leave and not pay. This is one reason why prices are so high, managers of Walgreens don't care if people steal. Well I care cuz I'm tired of paying for everyone else's shit. Guess maybe I need to try the five finger discount. NOT! I'm too honest I need to pay for things i want/need. read more

This Walgreens has good service, but there's one thing that always annoys me, that is that cellphone service sucks in here. Aside of that, the place is always cleans and organized. This place is very handy because it has most of the things offered at Walmart (near by) and sometimes at a better price. A tip to remember is to use your rewards card when possible. read more

Came in today to buy a gift card for a friend. At the makeup register the lady asked my mother and I if we would like free samples of stuff that she was placing in zipploc bags. I said yes why not. She then proceeded to state that this stuff has been there for months and they needed to get rid of it. So I then asked her if I could take all of it to give to the homeless. Every few months I try to collect items for the homeless and pace out bags of toiletries, socks, water, food etc. The girl then proceed to say she needed to ask her manager but she seems to have a bad attitude after that. When I told the manager what I wanted to do. She stated that she can only give samples to customers..I was like oh wow okay. So instead of doing good deed and helping the homeless you rather give to those who are purchasing from the store...I get it but damn the cashier stated that those samples have been there for a long time. Why not give it to those who are in need? So many homeless people in this world and being able to provided them with something as small as a "sample" of lotion, shampoo, face cream etc is something you can do. Ugh.. read more

Double check your gift cards if you purchase from this store. My sister came to buy a gift card for a family memeber at this store. When our family memebrr tried using the card at BEST BUY, they found out there was no balance and the card was not activated, yet we have a reciept stating we have purchased and activated the gift card at this store, with date and total amount. When the store, Walgreens was contacted the store manager did nothing to help and stated it was store policy to not refund or exchange. This store clerk just took our money over$100 on that specific card, now we have to make sure all the other cards purchased here that same date have been activated. Please be sure if you purchase a gift card from here or any other Walgreens to double check your gift cards and not get robbed like we did. This is the 24-hour pharmacy yet when you go in to purchase something there bathrooms are closed and I understand for sake of not having drunk people or homeless people come in use the restroom but if they see that you're a paying customer they should allow you to use the restroom that makes absolutely no sense.
