I went in there yesterday & the owners brother (old guy with long beard) was cashing me out when a male customer walked in. He told me to hold on & he took that guy ahead of me. When that guy left he handed me my stuff and he pointed to the corner room & told me to go there. I was confused so I said "what?" And his response was "go to the corner room so we can have fun" with a smile and laughed. I was in shock and said "no" and started to walk out. His reply was "I'll see you soon sweetie" I am 32 years old and I have NEVER had an encounter this. I walked out feeling so disgusted & upset. My boyfriend went and told the owner what happened but of course was brushed under the rug. I will never step foot in there again & I strongly recommend you do not either.

As the fuel was pumping, I went to grab the station squeegee (a few feet away) and took 2 steps. As I walked back to the car, the cashier turned off my pump. I thought it was a pump error so I repeated the steps and as the fuel is again pumping, I grabbed the squeegee next to the car and took a step toward the windshield. Again, the cashier stopped my pump as I was just next to the driver side door. I went inside and asked why she was stopping my pump. She said I had to be actively operating the pump as per fire code and it was listed on the pump station. This is clearly incorrect and I was severely annoyed but it was also clear that the cashier would never change her mind so discussing the matter was a waste of time. There were customers that sat in their car as the pumps operated but apparently I couldn't clean my windshield even though I had visibility on the pump and could activate the shutoff switch just as quickly as if I were manually holding down the dispenser handle. And of course, nothing in MA's fire code prevents a customer from needing to actively hold the pump or stand next to it. The cashier said something about the system "not registering yet" but that doesn't make sense, because the transaction showed up in the app immediately. It also showed multiple transactions from March 2025 in a city I didn't visit that year, so I know with absolute certainty I didn't make these purchases. I wouldn't trust this thing with my credit card. Back to the coffee. They have now changed the promotion so that you have to spend an additional $3.49 on other items to get the 99-cent coffee price. I signed up for a specific offer that they didn't honor, only for them to make the deal worse. Looks like I won't be going back to Cumbies for a while.

We were not thinking we would get anything other than some drinks and a hot dog at best, but they had quite a few items to choose from. The clerk (I think his name was Craig) was super nice, helping us choose one of his favorite things to eat in the store, chicken tenders and hash browns. He even got the ranch dressing from the back to combine with the bbq sauce. We were so thankful for a hot snack to hold us over until later in the morning after check-out in a nearby hotel. The food items were baked in an convection oven and came out piping hot. Surprisingly, it was all very tasty! The clerk asked if we needed anything else and then bid us a good night and we were back on the road far better off than when we arrived.

Finding no gas station in sight, my phone directed me to the next closest establishment within which to fill up our drained gas tank... this Sunoco station. As a Rhode Islander, I will be forever grateful for the significantly cheaper gas prices just over the Massachusetts line. This station was no different and boasted pricing at least 10 cents cheaper than its neighboring state. Looking for something to tide me over until what turned out to be a very late meal, I walked into the seemingly small convenience portion of this establishment and was astounded by the number of options I had to choose from. On entering, I was asked by my counterpart to find some cream soda (usually a difficult task at most convenience stores as Root Beer usually wins out on the shelves over the less popularly supplied Cream variety). I laughed, but was surprised to find this options as well. The cashier was very personable, making jokes and conversation with most of the patrons in the store. My bf was even offered the store's "lucky penny" with which to use on a purchased scratch ticket. What could have been a bland and irritating gas up, turned into a light and enjoyable experience. Completely unexpected but totally welcomed!!

The cashier was very friendly, greeted me and assisted me promptly. Location is convinent from route 106 off of route 140 in Mansfield, across from Benny's and next door to Wendy's. The price of gas is competitve with other local gas stations, but slightly cheaper. :-) Some days are busier than other, but rarely have to wait for a pump to become available. I am a fan! :-)

I also used the dirty restroom, Cumberland Farms isn't known for their clean restrooms so I wasn't surprised when I walked in. However, the water was set at a nice warm temperature; perfect for hand washing. There was also plenty of hand soap that left a nice scent on my hands. Conveniently they also offer two hand drying options. The first being an air dryer and the second paper towels made from recycled paper. I chose to dry my hands with the paper towels. Additionally the bathrooms do not have doors so I didn't have to touch a dirty door handle while exiting.

The ice cream was removed from the other refrigerator items and is sold in a small freezer at the front of the store. There is now a warm food section by the register. With this remodel most of the windows have been partially or fully block making this a darker and more confining retail space.
