It was rejected and the pharmacist said many savings cards are rejected. The area in the computer to fill in exemption codes is grayed out. Basically, Walgreens is blocking use of the savings cards. I wish I could give zero stars. This Walgreens pharmacy has consistently shown complete disregard for customers, and my experience yesterday was the last straw. I tried calling the pharmacy and was on hold for over 30 minutes, which would be frustrating enough--except this isn't the first time. In the past, I've stood in the store watching the pharmacy staff ignore the phone as I stood there on hold on speaker phone while they casually gossip behind the counter. It's clear they're just choosing not to answer. When I went in to pick up my prescription, I politely asked for clarification about the dosage and quantity. Before I could even finish, the pharmacist cut me off mid-sentence, assuming what I was asking. When I finally got a word in, she confirmed the prescription details were correct. So I came back later expecting a smooth pickup. Instead, I was met by the rudest, most condescending woman I've ever encountered at a pharmacy--a blonde woman with curly hair. I spoke clearly, yet she asked my name three times, each time with increasing irritation and disrespect, like I was a child or an idiot. She charged me for my medication, which has always been fully covered, and only gave me half the amount I've consistently received for over a year. When I calmly asked why I was being charged for the first time, she asked me eight times, in the most belittling tone, "How was it free before?" as if I were lying or incapable of understanding basic billing. She made no effort to check or explain anything--just pure attitude. As I left, I realized I'd been shorted on my medication. I had to turn around and go back, and only then did a different (much more helpful) pharmacist assist me--she refunded the charge and acknowledged the mistake. This is more than just poor service. It's blatant disrespect, laziness, and unprofessional behavior. I strongly suggest others take their prescriptions elsewhere if they want to be treated like a human being. read more

The absolute worst experience ever. Scheduled a Covid and flu test. Waited for 35 minutes being ignored and then asked if anyone was going to be able to do it. They handed me two swabs and left the room telling me to do it myself and leave them on the table. Not surprisingly I got no results. Trying to call this pharmacy is the worst. They put you on hold for 45 minutes (no joke) and then just hang up on you. I had to have prescription transferred because surprise it was out of stock. I had to transfer it Publix. The pharmacist at Publix said they had called over 12 times and either got no answer or they just hung up on them. It's amazing to me how their management or lack of would allow this to happen. I have been a customer at this Walgreens for many years and this is nothing new. I had the insurance company on the phone trying to help the girl and she threw the phone back at me and said "I'm not listening to her".. Our doctors sent our son's medication to the store on Wednesday. Went to pick it up on Saturday. They said they didn't have it on stock. I asked why they didn't call. She said they sent out an auto call to let us know. When I said I didn't get an auto call, she said she asked the other woman to verify our phone number. Guess what? No number on file. Said we were a new customer so they didn't have our phone number. Then they said they don't contract with our insurance. I said we'd pay cash as we had a Goodrx coupon. Then they said they won't fill it because our doctor is more than 50 miles away. When I printed out she is only 30 mikes away, they then said "we'll, it's north of Jacksonville". They kept changing the story. I was trying to get a solid answer to give feedback for our doctor and we couldn't get one. Ridiculous! Will never ever ever use them again. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Prescription is never in stock and they say they have to special order it every time. I wait days and then get a text that says it's ready so I go there and they say they can't find it and they don't know what happened to it. So they "special" order it once again. Very busy store, except at 4am. It is always very well stocked and offers a wide variety of products, as you would expect. This is a 24x7 store with a drive-thru pharmacy, however the pharmacy no longer stays over the 24 hours. Along with the pharmacy, there is also a Take Care Clinic which offers vaccinations and other diagnostic or evaluation services They offer photo processing with a great amount of photo and photo-related gift accessories. As I believe most Walgreens have implemented, this store has an expanded dry food offering, together with a limited refrigerated food selection. Being close to the ocean and as the seasons change, the employees seem to be constantly restocking shelves with beach-related items, school items, and soon Halloween candies. Probably the best thing I like about this store is the speed at which I can stop in, find what I need and then checkout. This is huge in my book. After going through so much hassle to find a pharmacy location that had the Pfizer vaccine in stock, my mom and I were finally able to book an appointment at Walgreens Pharmacy. We had already gotten our first dose of the vaccine at CVS Pharmacy, but unfortunately, they had zero availability for appointment bookings. Consequently, we had to resort to Walgreens, which we soon discovered to be a tragic mistake. To get the chore out of the way, we booked an appointment for eight o'clock in the morning. We walked up to the front and signed in to confirm our awaited appointment, only for one of the staff members to hand me another patient's form. Assumably, she thought I looked like a thirteen-year-old girl with brunette hair. I tried to get the woman's attention, but she walked away to do something of more importance. Minutes passed before we walked over to another staff member. She looked exhausted and miserable to be at work, which was understandable, but she could have at least provided us with some decent customer service. The woman began asking me questions to gather my information together before the procedure. Not to sound dramatic, but I do not think she could have typed any slower. With a line of customers waiting to be served, she sure took her time. Also, I had to repeat myself a million times because she, for some odd reason, could not understand me. After what felt like hours we finally got situated and seated in the waiting area. Among the many other patients, we patiently waited for our turn to be vaccinated. During that time, we witnessed countless customers facing issues with incompetent staff. A couple approached the counter, expecting to sign in, but instead got hit in the face with passive- aggressive remarks. They were denied the vaccine despite showing direct proof of an appointment. Everything seemed to be unorganized and the employees, unfortunately, handled the whole situation poorly. A fellow customer beside them noticed the couple's rude encounters. She encountered the same discomfort as everyone else in the room, as we all sat in silence and disbelief of our surroundings. The brave woman spoke up and called the workers out for their lack of assistance and consideration. I glanced over to my right to see my mom holding back a laugh as we watched this woman point out the truth. I suppose that minute of entertainment balanced out the excruciatingly painful wait time. To be brutally honest, having to sit still for over an hour exceeded my pain tolerance compared to the actual injection itself. At least by the end of our visit, we were fortunate enough to walk out fully vaccinated. Although, my mom and I could concur that the quality of service at CVS Pharmacy completely surpassed our experience at Walgreens Pharmacy. I was holding for 37 minutes waiting for someone in pharmacy to pick up. When I mentioned that their system needs improvement, a rude and arrogant person said they were busy and hung up. This Walgreens is in such a great spot....it's smack in the middle of several intersections, strip shopping centers, and near the beach. So it tends to be a little busy. It also is one of the Walgreens that has the health clinic, so it gets a little congested near the pharmacy as people are there waiting to be seen by a nurse practitioner. The store has a good selection of products, many things geared towards the beach. It always makes to smile with irony that a "pharmacy" sells wine and cigarettes! Don't bother with the pharmacy here. The first time I went, I was told that the system was down so they couldn't bill my insurance. I would have to pay up front and they would bill my insurance as soon as the system came back up, leaving me a credit for the next visit. Came back today for another prescription and inquired about the credit. I was told that there is no credit and that I would've had to come back in seven days to claim the credit. Really frustrating. Pharmacy is always understaffed, expect 4-5 cars in the drive-through pick up any evening on your way home from work. Today however, I thought I'd avoid that hassle by stopping by on the way to work to pick up my prescription that walgreens confirmed was filled by email 24 hours earlier. Arrived at 739, worker seemed to need about 2 minutes to start up her computer. Found my information on the computer and headed off to get my prescription at 741. At 750 when she still hadn't returned with my prescription, I called the store, asked for the pharmacy (had to hold for a while), a second worker answered and said they were "looking for my prescription". Long story short, they didn't have it (tomorrow is New Years Day, they are closed) but thought another store might have it. I could call back after 9 to find out if they could find it at another store. Called back, another store DOES have my prescription and I am welcome to drive 10 miles to that store in Atlantic Beach to pick up my prescription that the email said was filled, at the store in Ponte Vedra (yesterday).
