Easy. The store is laid out the same as others. it was well stocked, clearly marked prices and the cashier welcomed me to Walgreens when I entered. The parking lot is clean and clear of trash. I had 2 additional items that did not qualify under my FSA and asked if I could add them to my overall purchase at the pharmacy. The technician "huffed" said nothing and continued to ring up my items. After I ran my FSA I had a remaining g balance of $30.00+ for the other items. I pulled up my Walgreens cash rewards and asked to apply it. The technician clearly grew more agitated and replied "I don't know how to use that ", I asked if she could please ask the other tech who was working along side her and she grumbled something under her breath, "tissed through her teeth" at me and walked away without asking the other tech and without acknowledging what I even asked. I then asked the other tech who was just 4ft away if she could help apply my rewards and she kindly did. The other "rude" tech was then taught how to do it and grumbled the final remaining balance at me. I said " wow you're not having a good day ha?" , she then replied "yup and you're making it sooo much better" in an extremely rude tone. I replied back and said "well that's good, I'm glad I can do that for you" she "tissed" again, I paid my balance with my debit card, while doing my best to maintain my composure, and she rudely passed my bag across the counter. I grabbed my bag quickly and said "lighten up" and walked out as she proceeded to laugh out loud behind my back. I'm not the one and today isn't that day, as I am fighting a terrible cold. Hence all the medicine I purchased. Needless to say, I love this Walgreens, and have been a loyal customer for years and have never experienced this type rudeness there. Ever. Clearly she was a bit childish, acting entitled as if ringing me up was not her job. Some of the kiddos in the new "20 something's" generation behave as if they have no understanding of what respect for others is and clearly no formate able work ethic or much experience. The store manager at this store is amazing as is the entire rest of her staff but this "newbie" clearly needs a lesson in customer service. Should I encounter her again here I will request another tech to avoid sinking to her level and letting her know that I am not the one.

Inside, it's a CVS layout built around one large, square empty space. Each CVS location usually has space for product that are needed by tourists...here, it seemed to be beach chairs...they were everywhere. They have self-checkout lines in the front, which uses your CVS rewards and coupons, regardless of where you are from. Good deal.

The staff know you by name when they see you and go out of their way to assist by contacting your doctor's office if the prescription is not there. I drive from Fall River to go the Apothecary. Their prices are comparable to all other pharmacy chains. The value is outstanding. I highly recommend the Westport Apothecary. It's a real gem in a world where the remaining pharmacies have become retail chains with personalized services that evaporated when the giant conglomerates bought up all the independent pharmacies.

I'm sure the pharmacist had good intentions, but the lack of proper communication with the patient is inexcusable. Overall disappointing experience.

I have been faithful...for years...to CVS. As I was reading my kids their bed time story, I was…read morethinking...why...why CVS for so very long? Wall-to-wall carpet. Seems odd but that is the answer, friend. Every CVS that I walk into is carpeted. And quiet. And soothing. Odd because I can't stand wall-to-wall in my own home. Our hardwoods are torn to shreds but I will not staple down the poly fibers. But I think about other pharmacies and they all pretty much have the shiny tile squares that clickety-clack when you walk on them. Never knowing when they've been last polished, you gotta be careful your leather botton kicks don't slip. But CVS? No worries. Your heels are safely cradled in the soft carpet caress. And shiny tile squares remind me of cafeterias and hospitals...and...um...not so soothing thoughts. I especially like this location. They have a drive-up pharmacy and a tricked out photo lab with multiple scanners and one hour photo service. The store is always well-stocked, clean and neat. The in-store staff is terrific both at the front and at the pharmacy. Up front, they launch a code red type announcement if there are more than two people in line. Yeah - you know my time is valuable. Nice. The pharmacy staff churns out the prescriptions in record time and the actual pharmacist will walk out to help out with medicinal inquiries. The pharmacy calls now get routed to a call center, not the actual pharmacy. This annoys me because sometimes I want to talk to one of the pharmacists that I know. They have told me repeatedly that it would be merged for about 3 years now . So when I pick up my rx they often can't find it because I give my correct name and it's filed under the incorrect one.

I walked in everyday to see if it was ready and they would just say "waiting on CVS". They could have called over and got it done but they are lazy and waited for me to finally lose my patience. I was off the medication for well over a week and was feeling terrible- the whole time they had the fax and the pharmacist laughed at me when telling him this situation.
