I've never waited longer for a pharmacy than I have at this location. Horrible mismanagement, understaffing, and poor communication.

Slowest pharmacy ever. The drive through is the absolute worst. Use this pharmacy if you want to wait 30 minutes in line.

The only way I knew about it was through a friend asking me to pick up moisturizer for her while she was down. I've thanked my friend, of course, because even upon walking into the shop, the smell tells you you're in a place that values quality ingredients. I wish the owner would make a Pantry Products candle that smells just like the shop. I'd buy it in bulk. Because I have dry skin, I'm careful about products with oil because they tend to sit on my skin instead of moisturizing it. Therefore, I've hesitatingly used products with oils, but the Pantry has changed my mind. The serum is my favorite product, hands down--not only does it smell wonderful (to the point where I've had people ask me what I'm wearing) but it also moisturizes my skin beautifully, and I can't stop touching my face because it feels so soft. It's a relief, too, to know that these products aren't harmful to my body or the environment, something that's become even more important to me since reading an article about the cancer-causing chemicals in talc. I also use the face cleanser, with jojoba oil, and it's moved to the top of my cleansers, since my skin feels a lot less dry when using it. I also like the customer service, which is informative and friendly without being pushy. The people working at the store know their stuff and have effectively steered me toward the right products. Finally, check out the Instagram feed if you haven't already: the owner is highly engaging without being overly performative, and her aesthetic reflects the shop and the products. My only quibble--and I feel terrible writing this because I love this shop and love to support small businesses, having worked for one myself--is that a batch of my moisturizer never seemed to work for me, as it was broken no matter how many times I tried to stir it. When I went in to get more serum, I mentioned that the moisturizer hadn't worked well for me/was way too oily. The person behind the counter said she wished I'd brought it in to replace it as long as I hadn't used it all and that they'd had a problem with a certain batch number. She mentioned, too, that another person brought her empty tin in after trying to use this faulty moisturizer, but it couldn't be replaced because she'd used it all. This seemed kind of curious to me: why not just replace it then? I mean, I understand people can be sketchy at times, but it was obvious I and the other customer weren't being that way. In a previous business I'd worked for, we would have replaced that, no questions asked. This also would have encouraged me to try the moisturizer again. I'd encourage the company to replace known faulty products, even if the user had mistakenly used all of it up. Overall, though? If you love skincare products like I do, you *must* try this place. Don't wait for a friend to tell you about it. Don't think that, Oh, maybe some day I'll go there. No. Go. Small businesses are an important pillar of our community, but even more, your skin will look, feel, and smell wonderful, and you won't be putting a bunch of nasty chemicals in your skin and body. So glad I discovered this place!

And you bet your bottom dollar I was one of the first to let her laser hair removal me. She's always so sweet and peppy. Shannon ensures that your time is low stress and relaxing. After a while, I know the clientele numbers went up so she hired other laser techs and started offering other laser services other than hair removal. I went and saw one of the other techs, and I don't recall her name, for my first tattoo removal appointment two weeks ago to have an arrow removed from my thigh. She was very chipper and jovial and made my appointment easy breezy. She told me I'd be seeing a different tech for my second appointment. Shannon first implemented Apex's location with Jensen and Co off of Mt Rose street, and now she's in a cute little house off of Eureka. Both locations are clean and welcoming. Parking was a little more tricky at Jensen and Co. With the new location, there's definitely a lot more street parking. There are stairs to get down to where I was for my laser tattoo removal appointment. I'm not sure if there's an ADA accessible entrance to the bottom floor. I will continue to support Shannon in her endeavors and she makes the whole experience super easy and stress free. 10/10 recommend for any laser needs.

The first time was a little awkward because you have to text someone for the key code to enter the front door, which makes sense because of the neighborhood and surroundings. The building has been remodeled, quite luxuriously, and I enjoy walking through and going inside. Apex is located downstairs and it has been nothing but pleasant so far and I love my technician. My hair reduction has decreased dramatically and I'm very excited for my future results.

She is simply amazing and makes the process so smooth you wonder why you waited so long to book in the first place! I have seen Amber 3 times now, the first time was in 2019, a touch up a few weeks later, and then again this past Monday. Does it hurt? A little, but its not bad at all, she even uses a numbing cream after the first pass so you don't feel a thing after that. Is it expensive? Considering that you are permanently tattooing your face, NO! You get what you pay for, and Amber provides the after care AND a touch up appointment, so I find her to be extremely affordable! I save so much money and time not buying eyebrow pencils and filling in my brows, that alone is priceless. PLUS, the result is so natural!! How long is the healing time? About a month, but honestly after they peel the first time (about 5 days after your appointment) they look perfect (you don't even realize you still have some time to heal). I love my eyebrows and if you don't love yours, book an appointment today (Amber is the best in Reno and her schedule fills up fast!!) I already booked my touch up for 2022! Also, the space is so relaxing and bright and open. It is very clean inside and she follows all the covid rules from the health district. I felt very comfortable while at my appointment.

I told her that I liked my eyebrows natural and a little wild and she bladed just the right spots to give me the look I wanted. Amber is very professional and really goes over everything the procedure is going to entail. Her intake paperwork is incredibly thorough and I felt very comfortable in her hands. She walks you through what to expect day by day while you're healing. The process itself hurts a little bit but I really didn't swell at all. The brow micro-blading appointment took a little under two hours. She charges $450, $50 of it being a deposit but it was well worth it and a competitive price. I'm honestly considering going back to have my eyeliner done. Amber books up but she is WORTHTHEWAIT! Get in soon and make sure you check out some of her other work! I've reposted her photo of my finished product!

They have a fully painted parking lot, which is something I've never seen, bars preventing large vehicles from entering, and the architecture of the building itself is out there. I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.
