You can push their service level up to a 3, maybe 4, if you call them twice a day, every day, to check on why your prescription that your prescriber got a verification of receipt for on Wednesday morning is still not showing as ready for pickup late Monday afternoon. This is not a particularly unexpected level of service for any Walgreens or any CVS. These people are expected to perform at a level that is dangerous because impossible. Their stores would all have higher ratings on reviews if their corporate overlords cared about anything other than profit. read more

Got my passport photo taken here some months ago for my Irish passport. The picture wasn't accepted so I went back &, I believe it must of been the manager of the photo section (longer dark hair with glasses) who helped me, I explained the situation to him & he was adamant on making it right! He took the time to figure it out with me & gave me multiple copies of my photo some zoomed in & some zoomed out so I could crop it to the correct size for submission. The photo was my main barrier to submitting my application & it finally worked with the photos he provided! Just wanted to say Thank you so much! - excellent customer service !! read more

I went here to print a one-page shipping label. Their process is incredibly inefficient. It tooks 20 long minutes. You're better off going to FedEx or elsewhere. The employees were courteous and helpful, so this is no slight to them at all. It's just that the means by which you transfer the file using the kiosk is unnecessarily exhaustive, and using the website is relatively quicker but it could be improved by not requiring you to sign in. A "checkout as guest" option would be better. read more

This is a typical Walgreens. The staff was friendly and helpful on our visit. Most items were in stock and we got what we needed--mostly personal care items and OTC drugs. A few drink items were either sold out or not adequately stocked cause some shelves were empty. There were a few sketchy people out front both when we entered and new ones when we exited. They may have been homeless. This place it worth a shot if u need a drug store or convenience store. If they do not have what u want, a CVS is located near by. read more

Most pleasant pharmacy ever, which in itself is a strange concept but it's true. They always say hi when you walk in and are so nice at both the check out as well as photo/Fedex section. I even pick up a few items that I don't immediately need when I drop off my FedEx packages just because I love the customer service here. read more

The drive through seems to have some trouble. We waited for 30 minutes in line with only two cars ahead of us. It may be best to go in doors. They also had made three separate profiles for me which has created confusion on a couple of occasions when needing medication immediately. This Walgreens has amazing potential as they staff are really nice. It seems there may be some organizational challenges. read more

I just went to this location and feel obligated to write a review. It is a bit before 6AM and both employees I saw in the store just now were nothing but pleasant. Both asked me if I needed help finding anything and the man I checked out with what cheery and truly engaging. It's nice to have a 24 hour Walgreens close by and its equally nice to know how well the staff treats their customers. Thank you and I will definitely be back! read more

I always get my prescriptions filled in the middle of the night so hurray for this 24 hours Walgreens. The pharmacists and employees all are very nice and helpful. The parking lot is well lit at night, and generally lacks creeps. Before they built this Walgreens I always ended up at the 24 hour CVS on Broad Street and Boulevard, which is consistently sketchy even during the day because of the location. read more

This Walgreens is terrible. They regularly tell you that your prescription will be ready in 15 minutes only to have it be 30 minutes or more. I've waited for over an hour more than once. The staff in the pharmacy are not very professional, and I've heard them complain about how much they hate working the drive-through. Several times, I've also had them run out of my prescription, which is a very common medication, and so I've had to go back the next day for a second session of waiting around for them to do their jobs. If this were to happen once or twice, that would be understandable, but its happened several times. They need a better inventory manager. read more

Byron at Walgreens in Carytown is on my shit list. Trying to check out w some waters. Long line, one person on the front register! Dude in photo area, Byron, says I can check out there...so I go over there to check out and as he is ringing me up I thank him & mention I am in a rush and they really need more than one person up there helping. Just then the front register calls him bc a lady is having an issue checking out (second time he's been called since I had been in the store). Now good customer service would be to finish my transaction ( again I mentioned I was n a rush) but instead he went to the front then into the back and frankly I needed to go period! 6 mins later he has still not finished helping me so I walked. There will b a phone call. Their whole thing is get in and get out or whatever it is in a timely well not today. read more

This place is a mess. Recently they didn't actually mix my child's prescription... they simply sent me home with all of the components that had in big letters on the bag - MUST BE MIXED PRIOR TO DISPENSING. When I brought it back to them, they didn't even apologize and had me wait the standard amount of time it takes to get a new prescription filled. And one of the techs in the pharmacy kept giving my kid the stink eye, as he was counting to 100 to stave off the boredom of this being his second wait-in-line at Walgreen's... if only it had been 100 seconds and not 45 minutes. Today I had another script sent there - this time a simple antibiotic. I stopped by the store and they said it would be ready in a little bit. On my way home, I get an automated message that there has been a delay but not to worry... they're sure it will be ready soon. So I called and the pharmacist says they're out of stock and I'd need to wait a day or two. For a common antibiotic at a typical kid dosage. They had assumed I'd be willing to wait so didn't feel the need to call. FYI - This is no longer a 24 hour walgreens, despite what Yelp says. read more
