Walgreens pharmacy on Northern helped me out with transferring a prescription from my old pharmacy who said they didn't have the medicine when I was not feeling well. This review is for the store on 528 and enchanted hills blvd I walked in this morning to pick up a couple of items. Picked up my items proceeded to the check out counter. I asked the clerk if there were Arizona green teas in the back because there was none in the cooler they were on sale 3 for $2.. His response was if there is none then we are out. so my response was they will normally go check the back. So he got irritated and went to check. He came back with one can. so I said I wanted 3 because they are 3 for $2 like I had mentioned earlier so he went back obviously upset. Came back with 3 more can. Then he told me I can't f$&@&@$ read your f$&@&$& mind. I said excuse me? So I told him now you're using profanity. I told him to get his manager and she came out she was very nic. Rude. Lack communication skills and reacted like I was an inconvenience. When she didn't know what was going on with the delayed prescription she didn't communicate what was happening and started treating me like an inconvenience The woman never asked if I was willing to come back and pick it up later and threw her arms up when I tried to communicate I just wanted the prescription that was ready. I was being as polite and understanding as possible but was treated rudely in return. I even apologized trying to let her know I wasn't trying to hold up the line and she just ignored me. read more

This locations customer service in the Pharmacy is atrocious. The staff always look grumpy and treat you with very little respect! I'm not just talking about one instance on one day! I have been there for vaccines, now because Tricare (Military Insurance) is using Walgreens; I have to go there for prescriptions! They don't treat Veterans nor anyone else with a little common courtesy or customer service! I will not tolerate that! The staff at the pharmacy seems to be having a bad day every time I've gone there, and act like they are doing you a favor! If you hate your job that much quit! I don't know if this and employee issue or a management issue!? However, they need to explain things and give a little common courtesy! This is our primary Walgreens location for all things medicine and the occasional "snack items." The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff both in the main store area and in the pharmacy are always professional and friendly. Our medicine prescriptions are filled accurately and quickly. If they run out of something, they have always tried their best to get a partial order to us and then ordered the remaining amount. The remaining order usually comes in shortly after our initial order date which is convenient. The store has quite a bit of parking and there is no worry of finding a spot. The drive-thru wait can be a little long at times, but provided the service is good, the wait is not a big deal. Overall, I'd highly recommend this store to others needing quick daily essentials, snacks or a regular supply of medicines. read more

The notification systems for when your Rx is ready is horrible. I suspect the staff are completing the Rx and saying it is ready, when it truly isn't. The computer only does what you tell it and after a couple of years of them sending me notifications and me driving down there, I'll even wait a day, just to be told it is not ready? Yeah, they are padding the numbers. read more

Pharmacy experience was horrible!! Michelle couldn't find our appointment for a Covid test she tried to say we didn't have an appointment and when I showed her the confirmation she got even more angry at me !! Her tone of voice and body language was very offensive and threatening when we finally were given the covid test the name was wrong !! I called the store to report to the manager and he said it was no big deal and hung up on me !! I'm pretty sure I can report them to the CDC for putting a wrong name on a Covid test !! We felt like they treated us like we did something wrong !! But it was the other way around !!! Worst Customer Service hands down !!! read more

This is my neighborhood walgreens and I was disappointed in the low rating it has, it deserves way more than 3 stars! The staff is always friendly, yes! The shelves are always stocked, yes! And if something is out, all you have to do is ask any employee and they are always happy to help out. Sometimes they have really great clearance sale items at a really low cost, they don't just knock off 5 or 10 percent, they really want you to save money and get their inventory moving, great sale strategy! Its so convenient because nothing else is close by, so yes its going to be busy and parking may be a little busy sometimes, but you're not the only one having to do some quick shopping, so expect it. always clean, always friendly, greeted instantly, keep up the great work as i see no improvements needed. read more

We get all our prescriptions from this Walgreens and they are very efficient and friendly when we come to get our meds. The staff that works in the store will always ask if they can help you and love that when I walk in the cashier will say welcome to Walgreens. They have a liquor store on site and the place is very nice and clean. Kudos to the staff and management. Super friendly staff in the store. Pharmacy is sometimes great and sometimes No Bueno. Our secondary insurance covers the copay of the primary insurance. My baby has several conditions that require medications. Many times they try to charge me because they didn't bother to use both insurances. If I could give ZERO stars I would. First off I have to say that your lead pharmacist could use a few classes in common decency, HIPPA, and customer service. I tagged along today for my adult daughters COVID vaccine. After dealing with an insurance issue we were able to get her vaccine. While waiting we saw that the pharmacy tech had no idea on how to administer the vaccine and was getting step-by-step instructions on how to administer the vaccine all the way down to removing the safety cap. This should be elementary for a physician tech. We expressed concern and asked for another tech. A really sweet pharm tech agreed to do my daughters vaccine. As we were waiting your lead pharmacist and the untrained pharm tech were talking vulgar and complaining about myself and my daughter. I did inform the pharmacist that what she was doing was extremely unprofessional. She refused to speak to me. And just stared. At this point I was embarrassed for my daughter and myself. How DARE your pharmacist speak ill in regards to any patient. It's common medical practice. You should really review and make sure your staff is properly trained. read more

Yes, it's conveniently it is the only store in the area, but I love going into this Walgreens. The staff is so friendly! The singing guy that often works in liquor is so much fun and it is so refreshing to see someone enjoying their work day. The nice lady that usually wears her hair braided in cosmetics is so sweet and always makes a point to make conversation. The store is always clean, well stocked, and amply staffed. read more

No. No, no, no. I can't count how many times they have messed up my prescription refills. I haven't had blood pressure medicine for a month because they keep calling the wrong doctor for refills. I call them, give them the name of the correct doctor and they say they will fix it but they don't. I don't think anyone communicates with anyone else in the pharmacy. Three times this week I called them about a prescription, went tonight and they had no record of my request. Tonight was my last straw. Never again will I go to this location. read more
